Sarabeth Rose Hammond

Sarabeth Rose Hammond, seventeen years old, was last seen in Roanoke, Virginia on December 28. Her last electronic contact with anyone was a text message she sent to her mother on that date. No one has seen or heard from her since. Perhaps a reading will help.

The first two cards are the five of wands crossed by the eight of swords. The gives undertones of mental games and untruths, even though the investigation has only been going on for a couple of days, crossed by a reality of being "stuck" or trapped. From this, it looks very much as if law enforcement has already spoken with someone connected to Sarabeth's disappearance, whether they know it or not.

Beneath this foundation, we have the seven of cups. This speaks to scattered forces and not enough solid information. It is followed by the Queen of Cups, reversed. This queen, when she falls reversed, tells of a woman who is not always honest and tends to be selfish. I do not think this is Sarabeth; I think this woman is an adult. Strength, reversed, appears above, warning us that at some point in this situation, we may see power abused. There is a connection between this and the scattered forces we saw in the seven of cups. The next card is encouraging: the ten of cups. The ten of cups represents completion, but usually in a happy way. It describes family and home in balance. It tells us that a happy ending to this may yet be possible.

In the place of fears, we have the four of pentacles. Someone is hiding evidence and holding back information from those who are trying to find Sarabeth. There is a sense that this person cannot "afford" to come forward with what he or she knows. Next, in the place of environment, we have Justice. This is a clear suggestion that the case may end up in court, very soon. I am encouraged to see Justice upside right; upside down would indicate a denial of justice. The five of pentacles shows up in the place of hopes or fears. Here, we have a suggestion of a love gone astray, or some type of spiritual or literal impoverishment. At this point, it is either a fear, upon which someone acted; or a fear held by someone connected to Sarabeth. The last card is the Fool, reversed, which is not encouraging. This goes to faulty choices and the gradual grinding of gears before an endeavor shuts down. Somehow, these concepts are in control, right now. They are given power by the person(s) who withholds information.

Water has been represented quite a few times in this reading, beginning with the eight of swords and its reference to entrapment in shallow water, to the seven of cups and its reference to dreams and fantasy, moving along to the ten of cups, showing us a home. The five of wands points us south, but not too far south.  Also, the Queen of Cups is a watery card, too. While the reading does not scream "death", the eight of swords is not a card of freedom. This is the card that worries me. The suggested directions are south and west, the suggested element is water. An adult male and an adult female have information that can help.

Anyone who has any knowledge about this case should call the Roanoke County Police in Virginia at 540-562-3265. Her car is a white, 2016 Hyundai with New York plates; TCW 125.

Robert William Fisher

On April 10 of 2001, and man named Robert William Fisher shot his wife and two children in Scottsdale, Arizona. In what appeared to be an attempt to conceal the murders, he then blew up and burned down their home. No one has had contact with him since the day before this happened. Someone told me about the case, and asked me to see of the Tarot could shed any light on this, so I will see what the cards tell me. This is a horoscope layout, and I asked where and how he was hiding.

The first house, of physical appearance and ego, gives us the two of pentacles, reversed. This is usually a card of pretending to be happy, but in this case, I might see not only pretenses of happiness, but pretenses of being someone else! In line with "pretending", Fisher has changed his appearance. The second house, of money and possessions, has a simple message for us. The seven of pentacles appears reversed. This simply means that Fisher turned his back on every resource for which he had worked up until the murders were committed, and did not look back. In order to successfully run and hide, he incurred a financial loss. Next, in the third house, of written communication, relatives, and short journeys, we have the four of swords, reversed. This shows a bit of unrest surrounding Fisher and his family; he has had communication recently with someone from his past. Hopefully, his former connections and his family will not enable him.

In the place of physical home environment, the fourth house, we have the six of swords. This puts him on the move, quite frequently. Another possibility, with this card, is that Fisher is looking for legal representation. Moving along to the fifth house, which is the house of love affairs and amusement, we see the five of wands. Fisher romances without sincerity; strings people along, not only in romantic relationships but in all relationships; and plays a lot of mental and emotional games in order to keep from being found out. In the sixth house, the house of health, work relationships, and day to day mundane matters, we have the Queen of Cups, reversed. Here, we have a woman who has a lot of unanswered questions about Fisher, and is not happy, either with him, or with the information he has given her about himself.

The seventh house of partnerships, marriage and other types, yields Justice. This speaks of balance in a broad sense, but specifically, in Fisher's case, I think it refers to divorce. We know that he had marital problems prior to the murder of his spouse in 2001, but here we see court involvement in a partnership, yet again. He has apparently hidden himself and become involved with others. In the eighth house, of joint finances, debts, and transitions, we meet the King of Swords. This could mean one of two things: either Fisher has new problems that must be sorted out in civil court and others are demanding to know more about his past, or law enforcement will find him because of his old problems. The King of Swords is often a police officer, lawyer, or judge. When such a person shows up in the eighth house, this often means that the law will become involved in the subject's life. This idea is reinforced in the ninth house, of long journeys, the "establishment", and law: we have the seven of wands, reversed. When the seven of wands falls upside right, that tells of a home or property that is well guarded, but here we find it reversed, telling us that Fisher will have his guard down at an inopportune moment one day, and he will get caught.

The tenth house, showing career, ambition, and social status, gives us the ace of swords. Fisher has tried to start a new career, doing something different. Expect him to be forceful and aggressive, and to have somehow convinced others that he has a degree he does not really have. He also may have another child. The Knight of Wands, reversed, comes up in the eleventh house, of hopes and wishes, social life, and friends. This gives us a glimpse of Fisher's behavior and his physical appearance: he does not play nicely with others and has a reputation for discord, and while in hiding, he is still generally seen as blondish and fair. Coming and going, and temporary relationships are the hallmark of the reversed Knight of Wands, and Fisher tries not to stay in one place too long. The last card, in the twelfth house of self undoing and secret enemies, we see the two of cups. A relationship, probably romantic, will be Fisher's undoing. It happens largely as a result of information he has given about himself that cannot be verified.

The presence of cards from the suit of wands, especially describing travel, environment, and Fisher's aspect, suggest that he may have either moved to the south of where he lived in 2001, or like to spend time to the south. The six of swords often indicates international travel, and that turned up in the place of home environment. Still, I do not think he has put down any permanent new roots anywhere, as of yet. It is only a matter of time before he is found.

What Happened To Aundria Bowman?

We begin with the ten of cups, reversed, crossed by the Queen of Pentacles, which
is also read reversed, here. This is a message of unhappiness at home, involving an
adult female. Lack of trust and neglected responsibilities are factors with this woman.

Beneath this we have the six of cups, which is the card of childhood memories. This
gives us a picture of a problem that actually began at the childhood home. Next, and
also preceeding the situation, we have the seven of swords, reversed. This is where
someone has taken matters into his or her own hands, and made a decision and acted
on it, for good or for ill.

The next card, explaining why Aundria is missing, is Temperance, reversed, suggesting
that Aundria and one or more family members were somehow not a good combination.
There is also a suggestion of murky, shallow water connected here, when this card falls
reversed. After this, we get the Sun, reversed. which, in this case, speaks of broken
engagements and vioded contracts. Something to keep in mind is that this is also an
"outside" card.

The Hierophant, reversed, appears in the place of fears. This was a fear of new ideas
and of an inability to control others, In a nutshell, there was fear on the part of someone
in Aundria's life of not being able to control Aundria. Following this, in the place of
environment, we have the seven of cups, reversed. Someone who knew how to impose
his or her will on others made sure Aundria disappeared. There is also a reiteration of the
suggestion of shallow water on this card. Next, we have the ten of wands, reversed. There
was some sort of treachery in the situation, and there was a fear of civil litigation. Aundria
somehow created a legal risk to the person who made her disappear. The last card is the
seven of pentacles. This is the card of waiting for the harvest; the fruit has yet to ripen on
the tree. So we should look for someone who had something material to gain from this
child's disappearance. This is also the third "seven" that has appeared in the reading. Look
for "seven" to be a significant number in some way: I think it will be a geographic factor,
such as an address or the number of miles from where Aundria was last seen, or the number
of hours it takes to drive to that place. As the seven of pentacles is a card of waiting for the
harvest, the material gain was not immediate, but happened later.

The reversed seven of swords suggests that Aundria died of lack of oxygen, as if she had been
strangled. Sometimes, the Sun in reversal suggests cloudiness; perhaps the word "cloud" in
prominent in the name of the place she can be found, or the concept of clouded sunshine.

I always hope I am wrong, or that my interpretation of the cards is incorrect whenever I get
an answer like this from the Tarot. I hope Aundria is found soon.

Angela Marie Hammond

Angela Marie Hammond has been missing since 1991, when she was snatched by an unknown
male from a Missouri, phone booth.

The reading starts with the Tower, crossed by the seven of swords, which is read reversed. This gives us a situation unforeseen conflict aided by opportunity and an able hand. Angela did not see the attack coming, and the perpetrator had no problem grabbing her. This is founded by the ace of cups, which symbolizes romantic new beginnings, happiness, hope, and love. This somehow symbolizes the last few moments of Angela's life, before she met her attacker. Next, we have the eight of pentacles, reversed. This tells us a little about the perpetrator; he was not very good at the skills required for his employment. I am not sure how this plays into Angela's situation, but it comes up in the background.

As the best possible outcome, we have the King of Swords. This king is often law enforcement,
and the message here is that police would still like to solve Angela's missing persons case. This is
followed by the Devil, reversed. Upside right, the Devil is often a card of bondage, so when I
see it reversed here in a missing person's reading, it appears that the case will open up again and
be solved, eventually, and no longer belong exclusively to the perpetrator. Sometimes, this card
warns of indecision: hopefully no opportunity to find evidence goes without proper investigation.
There is a distinct warning about this. Another meaning for this card is sexual perversion. This is
something that will be unearthed in testimony, when this case is solved.

In the place of fears, we have the Emperor, reversed. The Emperor is the "father" card of the deck,
and when we see him reversed, he is often telling us about a male, fatherly figure who is ineffective
and indecisive. There is a man, who is significantly older than Angela, and he needs to be questioned.
This would play into the reversed Devil's indecisiveness. It appears that someone, somewhere,
connected to this case has information that he or she hopes will be considered. Next, in the place of environment, we have the ten of wands. This is a good card to see for closing a case; it means that
a problem is soon to be solved. Next, we have the Sun, in the place of hopes. This is clear;it is the
hope that Angela will be found, and that all will come to light. The last card is the Hierophant. This
card is the card of conformity and and social sanctions. It's placement here tells us that the
investigation can and will unearth the evidence: good, old fashioned police work.

To find Angela, we have a lot of fiery "south" cards. While the Devil often points us north, he is
reversed in this reading. He is also rather fiery, as is the Sun. The Sun suggests that Angela is outside,
and the ten of wands points us south. I think there may be a field that should be searched....a place
where people sometimes hunt deer. I am not sure how far away this place is from where she
disappeared, but it seems that the drive should be a few hours, but not a few days. Perhaps as
long as one day.

I really wish I had better news from the Tarot about this.

Will Sierra Lamar's Case Be Solved By The Court Proceedings?

I was recently asked to do a reading about whether or not Sierra Lamar's case would be resolved, and if she would be found and brought home, now that Antolin Garcia Torres is getting ready for his trial in the case. am not sure how much more I can add to readings I have done in the past for Sierra, but I will ask again, specifically in relation to Torres's court appearances and testimony.

We begin with the Sun, reversed, crossed by the ace of swords, which is also read reversed, here. In answer to a question such as this one, the reversed Sun is most likely telling us that there has been some sort of voided contract, as if the defendant was going to testify, but then the threat described by the reversed ace of swords caused the defendant to change his mind. He might have cooperated, had he been offered immunity for the crime with which he has been charged. So....no deal. Also, we have the Page of Swords still at large. This is a young person connected to the crime, somehow, who is either an accessory after the fact, or an accessory, and has not been charged. The nine of cups appears reversed in the past, as well, reiterating the idea of a voided contract or bad faith. So the defendant has no intentions of entering a plea and testifying.

In the realm of possibilities, we have the Fool. This tells us that there is still time for the defendant to change his mind and cooperate, and it also warns the defendant that evidence that can lead to Sierra's whereabouts might still be found. The Fools is an expert at surprises involving choices at awkward times. Something that will come to pass is Temperance, reversed. This takes us back to choices at awkward times: one of the meanings of Temperance, when it falls reversed, is bad timing. This defendant is not doing himself any favors when he refuses to testify.

In the place of fears, we have Justice. We have a defendant who is obviously afraid of Justice, and another person connected to this is the King of Swords, reversed. The suggestion here is that the prosecution back off, just a little, and give the defendant some emotional space. Not that he deserves it, but the reaction is that of a cornered animal, and one of the goals is to find Sierra. He would be more helpful if he felt less threatened. A disgusting and evil paradigm. Next, in the place of hopes, we have the Queen of Wands, reversed. This is jealousy and deceit, but on the part of a woman who once had a relationship with the defendant. The last card is the nine of cups, reversed. This refers to imperfections in plans, and the defendant may be counseled to go ahead and reveal his knowledge of Sierra's disappearance. It appears that these agreements, or lack thereof, concerning testimony in court and evidence are the biggest reason that this case has not been solved, and the prosecution has more in the way of witness testimony and evidence than has been shared with the public. Sadly, I do not believe the case will be resolved until the defendant is either in court for his actual trial, or has a court date for the same.

Kyron Horman, Updated

Kyron Horman has been missing from Oregon for over six years, now. Recently, his former step mother, Terri Moulton Horman, was was interviewed by Dr. Phil, on his show. This recent interview, and also a move to California, were quite unexpected from her, as she has lived with her parents in Roseburg, Oregon and refused to discuss Kyron's case with anyone, until this year. I have been asked to do another reading for Kyron, and so I will. I will just ask when and how Kyron will be found, and see what the cards tell us.

We begin with the nine of pentacles, a card of material success and safety, crossed by the Knight of Pentacles, reversed....usually a man who is careless about how he does his job! What a paradox! This is founded by the Queen of Swords, who is often a woman connected to law enforcement or the justice system, so for now, I am going to assume that this is a woman who looked for Kyron when he initially went missing. Her work, and possibly her information and notes, will be helpful to those looking for Kyron now. Temperance also appears in the more recent past, which tells us that there must somehow be a way to "temper" past information with new information.

The next card is the Knight of Swords, and he appears as the best possible option, here. While the Queen appears in the past, the Knight appears in the future. These individuals are both from the suit of swords, and it appears, for the moment, that they are law enforcement. This is the young man may find himself charged with giving the notes and clues a second or third look. Make no mistake, the case is still open. The next card, and your reader finds this very troubling, is the Emperor, reversed. This is the "father" card in the deck, and it can either indicate an actual father figure who is misguided and somehow weak, or it can refer to being defrauded out of an inheritance, or it can simply mean that there are elements of immaturity in a situation. I hate to see any of those in Kyron's case. The reversed Emperor corresponds with Temperance, suggesting a person who has not balanced information, tips, or clues very well.

In the place of fears, we have the Knight of Wands, reversed. This is a man whose presence brings discord and division along with him. He is a person who can help solve this crime, yet refuses. He is followed by the Page of swords, also reversed, in the place of environment. Unforeseen events are augered here, along with another, younger person who does not want to assist in helping to find Kyron. The Knight's involvement has to do with the crime, itself, while the Page's involvement has to do with testimony and things heard after the fact. These are both people who need to be questioned. In the place of hopes and fears, we have the nine of swords, which is a card of worry, and I think it almost speaks for itself. The last card is the two of swords, reversed. This is the release of a stalemate, so while I am glad to see it here, I am concerned about the direction affairs may take, as this card warns that things may go the wrong direction. The caution here is about dealing with "rogues", or in this case, dealing with those who may either testify falsely or somewhat falsely, or attempt to protect guilty parties. Nonetheless, it is encouraging to see movement in the case, and to see that authorities are still interested in solving the case.

Once again, the only reference to Kyron's demise here is in the place of worries, rather than actual events. While I understand that the longer a missing person's case drags on, the fewer chances we have of finding him or her safe, I am encouraged. I think the "father figure" indicated by the Emperor should be asked a few questions, one more time. Perhaps this is already in the works. The large number of cards from the suit of swords would normally point us east for a location, but in this case, I really think these cards are referring to the police, the court, and to spoken and written testimony. This means tips, notes, and reliable clues, all put together by the right person. It appears that while this is done, the best thing for everyone else to do is show Kyron's picture to everyone, once again; and keep talking about this case.

Jessica Runions

Twenty-one year old Jessica Runions, of Raymore, Missouri, has not been seen since September 8. Her vehicle was found, burned, near Kansas City. The last person to see Jessica alive is now in custody for burning her vehicle, and he is also the last person reported to have seen Kara Kopetsky alive, nine years ago. I recently got a comment asking me about these cases, specifically for a reading about Jessica Runions, so I will see what the Tarot has to say.

We begin with the Knight of Wands, reversed, crossed by the four of pentacles, which is also read reversed, here. The reversed Knight of Wands is a jealous, violent type of man, usually in his twenties. When the four of pentacles falls reversed in a reading, it usually tells of material setbacks and monetary loss. So this is the situation surrounding the young man: money problems. Beneath this, we find the ten of cups. I think this is his perception of Jessica's situation. There was something he wanted from her, to the point of coveting it. Next, and also in the past, the Knight of Cups appears. He is a romantic, personable young man, also in his twenties, who was more kindly disposed toward Jessica than the the Knight of Wands.

Somehow, if law enforcement and the judicial system misses a detail, there is a chance of justice not being served in this case. Justice appears, reversed, in the place of possibilities. This suspect does have something to offer in terms of solving the case, but he is well practiced at perverting justice. In the place of things that will happen, we get the ace of cups, reversed, which is instability. Gaining cooperation from this suspect will be difficult.

The four of cups, reversed, shows in the place of fears. The suspect is unworried about any evidence that has been found. In the place of environment, we have the Devil, reversed. This refers to the burned condition of Jessica's vehicle when it was found, and it also warns that testimony from any witnesses, including the suspect, is going to have to be considered very carefully. In the place of hopes, we have the Moon, which is a hope on the part of the suspect. He lies, and counts on Jessica not being found. Curiously, it is the fifth card in this reading that has contained a reference to water. While Jessica's car was burned, water seems to have played a role, here, as well. Water may have been used to hide evidence.

The last card almost takes the reading in another direction. It is the three of wands, and this card usually describes a joint effort. This means that the suspect either had help, or has what are called "accomplices after the fact". Someone drove him from one location to another, and knows about Jessica, or someone went as far as taking Jessica to another location for him. Law enforcement should be looking for accomplices, rather than only focusing on the man who has been arrested. To find Jessica, the ace of cups and the four of cups to point us west; but they are reversed. I would still be inclined to look west, and near water. We also have the four of pentacles pointing us north. The cards that suggest which Jessica may not be found alive are the Knight of Wands in reversal, because he has a violent temper, and the Devil. I always hope I am wrong in such an assessment. Because of the cocky nature of this suspect, it seems that his involvement in other crimes, such as Kara Kopetsky's disappearance, should be investigated.

More On Aliayah Lunsford

Aliayah Lunsford disappeared five years ago, in Weston, West Virginia. I recently got a request for another reading about her whereabouts, and since she was only three years old at the time she went missing, I have included a computer generated age progression of her picture.

So where could this baby have ended up? We have the King of Wands to begin our answer, crossed by the ace of swords. As this king falls upside right, I will assume that he means Aliayah no harm, and is trying to find her. The ace of swords, when it falls in this position, tells of very strong efforts, and perhaps very strong opinions to go along with the efforts. This suggests that the strong approach may have frightened a witness who is trying not to be fearful about coming forward.

Strength, reversed, appears at the base of this matter, and I do not like to see this card reversed in a reading for any missing child. It tells a story of abuse and bullying. The cards are telling us that this is a large part of the reason for this whole situation. Following this, we have the King of Swords. He is also upside right; and court cards from the suit of swords are often law enforcement. Both kings are professional adult males involved in Aliayah's missing persons case. It is good to see that police are still interested in finding out what happened to Aliayah. Something that is very troubling is the six of swords, reversed. This does not bode well for Aliayah; it speaks of an unfavorable end to the matter, and it tells us that Aliayah has been in the same place for a very long time. Water symbolism should be noted here, only without movement; as if trapped or stuck, somehow. Back to the efforts of those involved in the search: the two of cups (also a watery card) appears as a new possibility. This is good; it augers cooperation from potential witnesses.

In the place of fears, we find the Knight of Wands, reversed. This is a young man, younger than the two kings, and as he falls reversed, his involvement in Aliayah's case is more suspect. Two things that came into her life through him are violence and family discord. Next, in the place of environment, we have the ace of cups, reversed. Once again, we have water symbolism, but this time, we see instability and an overturning of the situation. Also noted is the fact this is the second ace, or card with a value of "1". This could mean that Aliayah was never more than a mile away from her home, or it could be a hint to a possible street name or address. The combination of "one" and "water" stand out. Next, we have Death, reversed. The message on this card, when it falls reversed, is similar to the six of swords, reversed. Nothing has changed in a long time. Something that is very sad is that the reversed Death also describes the hopes of the reversed Knight of Wands. He is hoping that Aliayah is not ever found. The last card we have in this reading is the five of pentacles. This is sadness and loneliness. Sometimes, it speaks of a church, sometimes it speaks of return of the missing; but it usually speaks of sadness when it falls upside right. My sense of this is that the five of pentacles refers to time, here. Five of something.......

I wish there was an easier way to write all of this. I hope Aliayah is found soon.

Why Did Konnel Keller Die?

So many questions! Was this a murder, suicide, or accident? Konnel Keller was found deceased in his home on April 1, 2014. Speculation has it that his death was a suicide, but, so far, the investigation has fallen short of definite answers. Konnel has a friend who wanted to see if the Tarot could shed any light.

We start with the King of Swords, reversed, crossed by the two of swords, also read reversed, here. When the King of Swords falls reversed, the Tarot is often telling us of a man who can be cruel and abusive, and court cards in the suit of swords are often law enforcement, lawyers, or judges. This begins the situation with the influence of the judicial system. The two of swords is a card of stalemated and stalled affairs; when we see it reversed, we can be sure some type of sudden activity has just been initiated where there had previously been none. The caution, of course, is against those who have ulterior motives and against movement in the wrong direction.

Beneath this core situation, we see the King of Pentacles, upside down. This is a middle aged man who is selfish and who takes advantage of others. Plain and simple. Konnel's death is also preceded by the ace of swords, reversed. When the ace of swords is reversed, this shows that someone around Konnel had too much power, and used it, somehow. So far, we see a picture of legal problems, a corrupt older man, and power used either in too much quantity for the situation, or used in a corrupt way.

As something that should have happened, but didn't, we get the seven of cups, reversed. When this card falls upside right, it tells of delusion and foolish decisions; but reversed, it's meaning is the opposite. Somehow, Konnel never had a chance to "think outside of the box", and come up with a different answer to the situation that ultimately took his life. We have the five of cups, reversed, next. This shows us that Konnel was fun, a good friend, and spiritual in some ways. This may be a good reason to ask if his death was a murder or a suicide.

In the place of fears, we find the Queen of Swords, reversed. This lends an angry feminine influence to this whole situation. The Queen of Swords here is a woman who pretends to be something she is not, and who also pretends to uphold the law when she actually does not. She is an adult who had an influence in this death and has information that could help explain what happened and why. Next, in the place of environment, we have the Queen of Pentacles, reversed; yet another angry, brooding woman. This is a woman who did not trust Konnel for some reason, and she was actually somewhere very near, physically, when he died. The hope here, or the advice, is Strength. Strength is the triumph of light over darkness, love over hate, and order over chaos; this is the advice, here. Any further investigation cannot be done in the same spirit as the situation preceding Konnel's death. The last card is Justice, which tells us that at some point, there will be justice.

Konnel's friend is right; more investigation is needed in this case. By this reading, it does not look like a suicide, and if it was, it was heavily influenced by someone who should have stopped it. There are three people who need to be re-interviewed and a fourth whose oversight in this case is compromised by personal bias.

Megan Renee Foglesong

Megan Renee Foglesong disappeared in Kansas in either November or December of 2015. Her case is a mystery: very few clues and no leads. There is a possibility that she was seen in a liquor store near the Winter Holiday, but no one is certain, and no one is certain about where she went after that. So we will see what the Tarot has to say.

We begin with the Chariot, reversed, crossed by the Devil, which is also read reversed, here. On esoteric levels, the Chariot generally refers to the ability, or lack thereof, to balance to polar opposites and force them to work together in order to effectively turn the wheels and move forward. On the mundane level, this card can speak of transportation or a general failure to accomplish the task at hand. When the Devil appears reversed, he is usually warning of indecisiveness and unproductive hesitancy. As the beginnings of this mystery, Megan may have had problems with her car and not have been able to resolve them on her own.

The causal background of this gives us the four of cups, reversed. Something happened that made Megan feel very trusting and grateful. Next, also in the recent past, we have the Queen of Swords. She is upside right, here, so we can assume that she meant Megan no harm. She is a woman between the ages of 25 and 40, or so, and appears to be the last person who saw Megan before she disappeared. Next, we have the four of swords, reversed. The is unrest, and it looks as if the Queen of Swords gave Megan some advice about relaxing, or calming down about something. Next, and this is the first hint of a serious problem for Megan, we have the seven of cups. This is a card of delusion and wishful thing. As a positive, it can tell us about creativity, but the norm is for this card to point out confused and irrational thinking. So Megan was agitated about something and had some mistaken ideas about what to do next.

The eight of pentacles comes up reversed in the place of fears. This is a serious concern about the lack of skills at a place of employment, or about the inability to find or keep employment. Could Megan's place of work hold some clues? Next, in the place of environment, we have the King of Pentacles. He, too, falls upright here, so it does not appear that he harmed Megan. He is an important factor in finding her, though. He is a man connected, via the suit of pentacles, to the reversed eight of pentacles in the place of fears. His involvement with Megan had to do with business, rather than friendship. He is probably in the same age group as the Queen of Swords, though not connected to her.

Here is where the reading begins to worry me; in the place of hopes, we have the five of swords. This is a card of fighting, violence, and revenge. This is also shown as a hope on Megan's part. It is a possible window to what might have been going on immediately before Megan disappeared. The last card here is the two of wands, reversed. This card, when reversed, often shows physical domination by others. So it looks, here, as if Megan became involved in a conflict and was overpowered. Another feature of the two of wands is sometimes partnership of sorts, or assistance; which means that more than one person knows what happened to Megan. The amount of time that has elapsed and the lack of exact date date of her disappearance are ominous, but the seven of cups, the five of swords, and the reversed two of wands do not make her fate look promising. I really do not like seeing combinations like this.

As for direction and possible location, the swords in the beginning point us east, and it looks as if that was the direction Megan wanted to proceed. The cups, however; point us west. The subtle hint on the seven of cups also suggests an actual body of water. This is a place that is not easy to search, and where objects that are in the water remain stubbornly difficult to locate. South is the direction of the wands in the two of wands, but as the card is reversed, I would not expect much distance to the south.

I really think the key to solving Megan's case is another look at her employment situation and any workmates she may have had. This reading puts her last interaction before going off the grid at wherever or whatever she did for work. There are two individuals who can shed light on all this, and it does not appear that they have been identified or questioned as of yet.

Alicia Marie Folkers Hummel

On June 1, 2015, Alicia Marie Folkers Hummel was found deceased in Sioux City, Iowa. Her death was determined to be a homicide. A year later, there are no suspects identified, and her murder is unsolved. We will see if the Tarot can be of any help to shed light on who killed her and why.

The reading begins with the Queen of Wands, reversed, crossed by the ace of pentacles. This is interesting; we have a jealous, easily angered woman who is panting after a material prize of some sort, and this shows up as an important part of Alicia's case. In the causal background, we have the Hanged Man, which is a card of waiting and sometimes, of personal sacrifice. Then, as an event in Alicia's recent past, we have the three of swords, reversed. This speaks of family quarrels and of a distinct possibility that Alicia knew a sensitive secret about someone and compromised that person.Watching all this is the Queen of Swords. As this queen falls upright, and her suit is swords, it appears that she is either law enforcement or connected to the judicial system. She is intent upon solving this crime. A challenge she faces, however; is the Page of Swords, reversed. This is a young person who knows all of the information necessary to make an arrest and convict a suspect, but he is lying.

In the place of fears, we find the four of pentacles, reversed. Money was a factor here, yet money and resources are still being wasted. Alicia's killer(s) have not been able to completely cover their tracks and use any resources they had hoped to gain from this act. The physical environment is described by the Wheel of Fortune. This is partly a facade;the murder has not made anyone feel terribly lucky. The other message indicated by this card is that no one has been arrested yet, and the guilty party(s) is feeling as if there will never be an arrest. In hopes, we have the ten of swords, reversed. This almost speaks for itself: when this card falls reversed, we see a temporary position of power, and that is exactly what is driving the hopes and fears of the perpetrator, here. The ten of swords can also be a violent card. The reading ends with the seven of pentacles, reversed. This is clearly anxiety about money, and worry that the very reason for the murder will not come to fruition.

An important factor in solving this murder is in the reversed four of pentacles and the Wheel of Fortune. Right now, evidence is being hidden and stored, yet it remains useless to the guilty party while hidden and stored. As soon as it is no longer hidden, but in use, the case will be solved. Something else I picked up from the four of pentacles in reverse is an ever-so-slight lack of care on the part of the guilty party with evidence left near the crime scene. The crime will eventually be solved, seemingly by a stroke of luck.

More About Kara Kopetsky

There have been a couple of requests for another reading for Kara Kopetsky, who disappeared in May of 2007.  I thought about this for awhile, unsure of what I could add, and decided to ask the Tarot one more question, in an attempt to hone in on Kara's whereabouts. It does look, from previous readings, like she has been the victim of foul play. I always wish, in cases like this, that the outcome could be more positive.

We begin with the six of pentacles, reversed, crossed by the Emperor. Somehow, due diligence has not been done here, in terms of searching for her. The Emperor is either Kara's father, or a "fatherly" male, who would like to find her. The ten of pentacles is in the past; it points to a reward or bonus for finding Kara, but no one has collected. Next, and also in the past, we have the five of swords. Usually, when this card comes up in a reading, it is all about lies and revenge, and sometimes about violence. This is why I think Kara met with foul play. There was someone, a male someone, who was vindictive and felt that he had a score of some sort to settle with Kara. The lovers appear next, in the place of possibilities. This is a suggestion that partnership and communication have been lacking, but will help, if tried. Information must be shared, locations must be searched and searched again. Any locations given in tips that were not searched should be searched. The ace of cups, reversed, appears as a challenge; there is an attitude "we've searched everywhere, there's no where else to search!" Yet, obviously, that's not true, as Kara would have been found if that was the case.

The five of pentacles appears in the place of fears. Often, the on this card shows a church. There may be a church in the vicinity of Kara's location. I would expect this church to be a landmark of sorts. In the place of environment, we have the ten of cups. I really feel that this speaks to location, and this card often tells of a family home. There could even be new construction of houses in the area. The Wheel of Fortune comes up in hopes, and this is simply the hope that luck will prevail, and that Kara will be found. The reading ends with the nine of cups, which is another "house and home" card. That card also indicates that there are enough resources to find Kara; and no reason to delay. There are a lot of "cups" cards, and their element is water. Water is a key feature in this situation. Also, there is water symbolism in the Lovers, and the suggestion on that card is to search water, and places with waterways and ponds.West is the direction associated with water and cups, pointing us west in the search. Searchers should expect to cross the Kansas River, and go into Kansas.

What Happened To Eric Franks?

Eric Franks was last seen en route to Saginaw, Michigan. This was in 2011, and at this point, he is presumed dead; but what really happened, and how can it be proven? We will see what light the Tarot can shed.

This reading begins with Justice, reversed, crossed by the three of cups. Justice delayed is often justice denied, but the three of cups, here, promise an end to this scenario. Going into background, we have the Queen of Swords, a woman who is kindly disposed toward Eric and is looking for him. As she falls upside right, I will assume that she is either part of Eric's family, or law enforcement. Her efforts have pulled up quite a bit of reliable information. In the recent past, we have the Page of Pentacles, which in this case, is an important bit of information from a younger person. It may open up a viable avenue of search.

In the place of possibilities, we find the ten of pentacles. The ten of pentacles is often an inheritance, or a monetary gift. Somehow, this is a factor; but it is something that never materialized, and is just an idea. In this case, it may speak of a possible motive for Eric's disappearance. In the place of things that will come to pass, we have the ace of pentacles, which is not quite as big of a windfall as the ten of pentacles, and often represents an opportunity rather than actual money, but this dynamic is involved in solving this mystery. It may be a reward for valid information.

The Page of Cups, reversed, appears in the place of fears. This is a young person who is not very good at a skill to which he or she claimed excellence. This has also caused worry for the person responsible for Eric's disappearance. Next, we have the two of swords in the place of environment. Not only do we have people with information refusing to come forward, there have also been a couple of people who have tampered with evidence! This also may give us a clue in terms of physical location: swords usually point us east. All the of the pentacles in this reading have pointed us north, as well. The six of cups appears, reversed, in the place of desires. This is a false notion; an expectation of a a gift, or perhaps just an outworn idea, on the part of an involved party. It also shows that someone may be attempting to sell information! The last card is the Moon, which shows bad luck and secret enemies. It also, however; grants investigators an ability to "read by moonlight", in the dark, if necessary, to find this young man. The Moon is a water card, and points slightly west, but any westerly movement of clues is almost an act of nature. Going back to the three of cups, there WILL be an end to this. I always wish I had better news in readings such as this.

Zaden McKnight

Zaden McKnight, of Dayton, Ohio, disappeared two years ago. His mother< Nichelle, was found, along the Stillwater River in Ohio, murdered, and her killer later committed suicide; but no one has seen Zaden. Where is he, and what happened to him?

We start with the seven of cups, crossed by the ten of swords, which is read reversed, here. This is a message about an investigation that has too many different directions and loose ends, and of someone who is taking advantage of this, but there is an element of "power seeking". In fact, the original situation between Zaden's mom and the perpetrator may have had elements of power and ego as motives. It would not be the only motive, but power was and is important to this person. Beneath this, we have the ace of pentacles, which tells us that Zaden's mom had an opportunity, or an asset, that made her situation and her life look very enviable to this perpetrator. She probably did not see it this way, but someone else did. Following this, we find the eight of cups, reversed, suggesting a spiritual path abandoned for a material path. Also, it suggests a celebration of sorts, involving more than one perpetrator.

As a sad possibility for this, Justice appears reversed. The suggestion here is to keep pushing Zaden's missing persons case into the news, and to refuse to give on finding him. Once again, material assets are referenced, but this time, it is by the ten of pentacles in events that are yet to come. I believe the message is dual: not only is the motive for the crime about materialism, but the motive for resolution may be helped by an offered reward. Yet, this approach often works, so I will keep my fingers crossed.

The four of swords appears reversed in the place of fears. This is a fear of the perpetrator that the case will begin to move a bit more quickly, after being stalled. In the immediate environment of the situation, we find the Knight of Cups. Because he is upside right, I am assuming that he means Zaden well and wants to find him. This man is more of an investigator than a fighter. In the place of hopes, we see the Page of Pentacles, which is the tip, or the information, that police are hoping for. The last card is the five of wands, which indicates that a suspect is playing games. Somehow, "power games" and struggles are a lifestyle for the person who killed Zaden's mother, and although he is no longer with us, someone is still actively engaged in those games.

The ten of swords suggests that Zaden died the same day his mother died. I am hoping that I am wrong about this, but swords deal with air, words, and testimony, and it looks as if the killer was worried about Zaden's possible testimony. Pentacles point us north, and we have the ace and the ten of pentacles, along with a page. Because of the seven of cups which appeared at the beginning of the reading, I am inclined to conclude "seven along the river" and because of the ten of pentacles, I would also search "ten" from wherever Zaden was last seen. I think the measurement is miles, in this case. I will keep hoping and praying that I am wrong about this conclusion, and I will keep hoping for justice for both Nichelle and Zaden.

More For Kara Kopetsky

I got a comment about Kara Kopetsky today, so I decided to see if an updated reading would give me more detailed information or impressions. She disappeared from the Kansas City area in May of 2007, at age seventeen. Her picture and contact information appears to the left. I did a horoscope layout for this reading.

In the first house, describing the general state of the case, we have the four of cups. This card is the picture of discontent; any help that is offered is not accepted, and no progress is made. This pretty much sums up the attitude of law enforcement here, unfortunately. Next, in the second house of money and finances, we have the Hanged Man, reversed. To go along with the discontent we see in the four of cups, we see a flat refusal to make any sacrifices or earmark any funds budgeted for search efforts for this case. In the third house, communication and short journeys, we have the four of swords. This tells us that the case has been "dormant" for awhile. It also hints that Kara, herself, has been in the same place for a very long time. In the fourth house, the house of environment and also the latter days of life, we find the nine of pentacles. This suggests a house with a garden.

The fifth house gives us the four of pentacles, which is another "stinginess" reference. It seems that there is a serious resistance to spending any resources on finding Kara! The card has appeared in the house of creativity and pleasure, so it applies to spending any time on new ideas, tips, or leads, as well. In the sixth house, of day to day relationships, we find the six of pentacles, which we also noticed in the first reading I did for Kara. There is a perception that "important" people on the political "totem pole" come first in both Kansas City, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri. The police in both states feel justified, somehow, in not bothering to look any further.

In the seventh house, of partnerships, we have the three of wands, which is an offer of help to find Kara. Perhaps more than one offer. We also have a water reference on this card, too. The idea put forth is looking out across a river into another land or territory for assistance, and this would fit the Missouri/Kansas area in this case. The eighth house, of death, legacies, and debt; shows the Hierophant, reversed. Despite law enforcement, Kara will be found, somehow, by unconventional means. This is followed up by the appearance of the Devil in the ninth house, which rules the "establishment", law, and long journeys. The Devil is often a card of bondage, and for some reason, it seems that there is a deliberate attempt on the part of law enforcement to keep this case from being solved. This naturally opens the door for the case to be solved another way.

In the house that governs career and social standing, the tenth house, we find the nine of swords, reversed. This can mean imprisonment; or just suspicion and shame. Its appearance in the house of career is a bit troubling; however. It suggests that someone who should have been able to solve this case with routine police work dropped the ball and didn't manage the whole thing very well. Moving along the eleventh house, of friends, hobbies, and social life, we have the Queen of Wands, reversed. This is a jealous, ill tempered woman who is somehow connected to the effort to close Kara's case without solving it. And in the twelfth house, of secrets and secret enemies, we have the King of Swords, reversed. Court cards from the suit of swords are often members of law enforcement or officials of the judicial system, and this appears to reiterate what has been suggested by the rest of this reading: a member of the police force handling Kara's case has deliberately failed.

This reading is not terribly different from the initial reading I did, a couple of years ago. I think I got a clearer idea of the "water" reference: a river big enough to support travel and commerce, and also big enough to serve as a boundary of sorts. I also still believe Kara was killed by a young man; and I think it happened in a residence, where he had enough privacy to commit such a crime without alerting neighbors or bystanders. A difference in this reading is that while the last reading hinted a bit at law enforcement only caring about "politically important" cases, this reading came out and said it! This reading contained much, much more about the investigation, and why it failed, than the last reading. Once again, I wish I had something more positive, and I hope that Kara is found soon.

Who Is Buckskin Girl?

Among the unidentified deceased, there is a young woman whose remains were found along Route 55, in Miami County, Ohio. It was 1981, and she was found within a couple of days of her death. An artist reconstructed her image, and she got some media coverage, but none of the leads that were generated led to her identification. She was dubbed "Buckskin Girl" because of the her braids, and because of the handmade suede poncho with a purple lining she wore.

So who was this young woman, and how did she end up on a highway in Ohio? We will see if the cards can help answer those questions. I chose a horoscope layout for this reading.

In the first house, of ego and temperament, we get the Page of Pentacles. This describes a youngish person who is studious when it comes to learning, and who may have had a message or information for someone. Next, in the second house, of money and possessions, we have the eight of pentacles, reversed. We can see that somehow, the dynamic of lost employment or skills misused had a role in Buckskin Girl's murder.. The is followed by Justice, reversed, in the third house, of communication, business, relatives, and short journeys. It is starting to look as if Buckskin girl may have been a witness in a criminal case, and the defendant wanted to silence her; but let's move on, and see what the rest of the cards have to say.

In the fourth house, of home environment and property, we have the four of wands, reversed. Buckskin Girl was not killed by a serial killer, as has been suspected. This card, in its position in the reading, suggests that she was killed by someone she knew, and with whom she was comfortable; possibly a family member or a friend of her family. In the fifth house, of romance, pleasure, and children, we have the two of wands, reversed. This is domination by others. It begins to look as if Buckskin Girl refused to do or say something that someone wanted her to do or say, and she was killed for it. In house six, of everyday things and work relationships, we have the seven of pentacles, reversed. Lack of patience and anxiety over lost money or a lost job was part of the general background and picture, here.

The seventh house, of partnerships, gives us the three of swords, reversed, which is the first truly violent card I find in this reading. It reiterates the idea put forth earlier, by Justice, reversed, of Buckskin Girl having somehow compromised someone. Because the three of swords appears in the seventh house, we must wonder if it was someone close to her, related to her, or possibly married to her. The eighth house, of debt, karma, joint finances, wills and legacies, and sometimes death, reveals the six of cups, reversed. There is an element of clinging to something that is outworn here; or perhaps infighting over a will or an inheritance.

The ninth house, which governs long journeys, gives us the two of pentacles, reversed. The two of pentacles reversed of points to written communication. Buckskin Girl was, indeed, involved in some sort of family business that involved infighting over monetary assets. In the tenth house, we have the Tower, which is a card of disruption and of "the tables being turned". The tenth house is all about ambition and social standing; and it is also the the house that governs fatherhood. This gives us another reference to legacies and wills. Perhaps a stepfather found Buckskin Girl's claim to an inheritance to be too cumbersome. Next, in the eleventh house, we have a woman, the Queen of Pentacles. As she is upright in this reading, I will assume that she is kindly disposed toward Buckskin Girl. The eleventh house governs social standing, friends, wishes, and dreams. Perhaps the Queen of Pentacles is someone who wants Buckskin Girl identified and properly buried. The last card, in the twelfth house, is the Sun. This is the house of secrets and secret enemies, and the Sun is usually a good card. What we are being told, here, is that Buckskin Girl trusted the person who committed the murder. Also, we are being told that while it happened in a location that was remote enough to elude detection, it happened in broad daylight. A less trusting nature and some inhibition could have prevented this murder.

By and large, Buckskin Girl appears to have been the victim of a family member who wanted to dominate inherited assets. Somehow, her presence and her testimony made her a liability. There was written communication involved, indicating that the murder was planned, not spur of the moment. The presence of pentacles, which are the dominant suit in the reading, give us north as a general direction to look for her origins, but there is a bit of confusion connected to this, as a couple of the pentacles are reversed. I think it is possible that Buckskin Girl had recently moved, and was either looking for work, or was residing with someone who was looking for work. If you know anything about this young woman, or recognize her, please call the sheriff in Miami County, Ohio, at 937-344-3965.

Where Is Kathy Sue Wilcox?

Almost forty-three years ago, sixteen year old Kathy Sue Wilcox walked out of her family home in Michigan and never came back. She was billed as a "runaway" in a day and age when "runaways" were not taken too seriously, but she was never seen again. No one ever found out what happened to her.

We begin with the Page of Wands, reversed, crossed by the seven of pentacles, which is also read reversed. This is bad news, brought on by indecision and lack of progress in the investigation. An initial impression I get is that there is something that could have been discovered years ago, but wasn't, because the proper effort was not made.

Beneath this, we get the seven of swords, reversed. Sadly, it looks as if Kathy planned to leave home, for a bit. This is followed by the nine of swords, which is the expected worry and pain felt by her family. Above this, detailing the best possible outcome, we have the three of pentacles, which is the card of the tradesman. This tells me that there IS something that can be done, professionally, to locate Kathy. Unexpectedly, the six of wands follows, telling us that the case actually WILL be solved one day. The six of wands is generally good news, but it tells us to wait for "science to give us an answer". The Knight of Cups appears in the middle of the investigation.......he is upside right, so we must assume that he is kindly disposed toward Kathy. From him, we can expect well thought out ideas and propositions that will actually work. He is an adult, but not as old as most of the people who remember Kathy in Michigan. He either knows something substantial and can help the investigation, or knows how to put together clues in order to find Kathy. Next, we have the six of swords, reversed, describing the environment of the situation. This bothers me a bit, because it screams "standstill!" What is standing still? The investigation? Kathy, herself? This is really the only truly morbid detail in this reading.

Next, in the place of desires, we have the Sun. This tells us that no one who is involved, right now, in the search for Kathy and the investigation played a role in her disappearance. This is good; sometimes guilty parties pretend to search for missing people, in order to throw off police and investigators. Also, this card is telling us that somehow, pleasure in things like gardening, farming, and homesteading play a role in finding Kathy. The final card is the ten of cups, which almost never comes up to describe the lot of a missing person. This card is the definition of happiness, happy marriage, good family life, and soul completion. It is not what I expected. Perhaps Kathy is alive and well. I think it is a possibility. If she is not, she will be found, and her disappearance will be explained.

For clues to Kathy's whereabouts, both cards that usually tell us about location in a Celtic Cross reading about a missing person are "six" cards; the six of wands, and the reversed six of swords. Perhaps the message is "six through the forest, stop at the water." The two "sevens" also give us some clues. The seven of pentacles is often called the card of the farmer, because of its association with crops, trees, and waiting for fruit or crops to ripen. Perhaps there is a clue, therein. And the reversed seven of swords is simply careful planning.....Kathy had every intention of running away. Ultimately, south and west appear to be key directions.

The contact information for this case is in the poster above. Please; if anyone has personal knowledge of Kathy Sue Wilcox, call one of the numbers.

Where Is Melissa Lee Brannen?

Melissa Lee Brannen was last seen on December 3, 1989 in Lorton, Virginia, when she was five years old.  She had been at a holiday party held for residents of Woodside Apartments. A man named Caleb Hughes was found guilty of kidnapping Melissa, and while some very compelling evidence was found connecting him to her disappearance, she has never been found.

We begin with the two of cups, reversed, crossed by the Chariot, which is also read reversed here, as a foundation.  This refers to a very violent passion, followed up with nowhere to go; a description of some very decadent and forceful desires. The King of Cups is at the base; this is an adult male, who is sensitive and professional. Since he falls upside right, I will assume that he is kindly disposed toward Melissa, and is trying to find her. Next, also in the past, is the King of Pentacles, reversed. This is another adult male, and as he falls reversed, I must label him part of the problem, rather than part of the solution. When the King of Pentacles comes up reversed in a reading, it refers to man who abuses resources and other people, and abuses any authority granted him, as well. Look for this man to have had dark hair and eyes in 1989.

In the realm of possibilities, we have the eight of pentacles. Generally, this card depicts a workplace or an apprenticeship position, but this hardly seems to fit the bill as an answer to where a little girl ended up after she went missing. It leads me to ponder whether or not the workplace of the King of Pentacles was properly searched. As it is in "possibilities" rather than actualities, I would be inclined to advise searching it again. The nine of cups, reversed, comes up next. This card describes a home with a lot of resources, and; sure enough, the suspect's home did turn up a lot of clues; but as the card falls reversed, all that was found was evidence, not Melissa.

The first card on the staff is the Hierophant, reversed. The Hierophant is all about orthodoxy and order, endorsing all that is socially approved. As he falls reversed here, the suggestion is to follow a mode that is not as traditional within the usual comfort zones, but to think and look "outside" of the box. In the place of environment, we have the Sun, reversed. This gives us an outside location, possibly a garden or an embankment with a wall. This is a place that is readily visible to the four "kingdoms" of nature: mineral, vegetable, animal, and human. It was once well manicured, but has not been maintained. As we get the number XIX from the sun, nineteen miles to the north or northwest is symbolized. We deal also with the number ten in the Wheel of Fortune, which comes up next, reversed. The symbolism on this card also deals with four "corners", or realities, if you will. In this case, we have Taurus the Bull, showing us earth, Leo the Lion, representing fire, Scorpio's eagle for water, and the Aquarian angel for air. Somehow, this symbolism plays a role in the location of Melissa. Four elements; four corners. The number of the Wheel of Fortune is X, so ten is key, but here, I think it is a placeholder or a descriptive number, such as part of an address or name. The final card is the ten of pentacles, which is also reversed. This card not only speaks of monetary loss when it falls reversed, but of a loss of family honor, as well. Someone who could help with Melissa's location has kept silent for the sake of "family honor", and has kept the secret for all these years!

Because of the "earth" references, I expect that Melissa was buried, somewhere between ten and twenty miles to the north of where she was last seen. Anyone with information about this should call the Fairfax County Police in Virginia; 703-246-7800.

Who Killed Michelle Martinko?

Michelle Martinko was murdered in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in 1979, at a shopping mall. To this day, her killer has not been caught. So we will see what the Tarot can tell us about the culprit, and a motive.

I used a horoscope spread for this reading. In the first house, we get the perpetrator, who is described here as the King of Cups, reversed. This is a man who is not only dishonest, but violent......as we already know. Look for him to have been a bit older than eighteen year old Michelle. Not much older chronologically, but more experienced. In the second house, which tells us about the means and resources by which this crime was committed, we see the six of wands. This means that the killer's most convenient tool was the ability to get Michelle's attention and trust. Had she simply ignored him, history might have panned out differently. Next, in the third house, of short journeys and communication, we have the ten of pentacles. This house also deals with memory and memories; and with inheritance. In the mundane aspect, this card's appearance here has me wondering if there is or was surveillance from a bank that could help; or perhaps, and employee from from a bank who saw something. In more personal terms, it is possible that there was some discussion between Michelle and her killer about money, gifts, or shopping. She wasn't robbed, so this will not lead us to the motive.

In the fourth house, we get some solid information about the killer. This house deals with the home environment and property, and the card that comes up is the eight of pentacles, reversed. The message is clear: whoever committed this crime was unethical in his use of his employment skills, and may have had trouble keeping a job. In the fifth house, of creativity and pleasure, we find the eight of wands. This is a bit sick and disturbing; it points to an individual who finds violence amusing. Also, it points to someone who really thought this murder would resolve something. Following this, in the sixth house, we get the seven of cups. The sixth house is all about mundane, everyday relationships and it also covers work relationships.....yet the seven of cups is about illusions and delusions. Could this killer have mistaken Michelle for someone who had wronged him? Or could Michelle have resembled someone he didn't like, or reminded him of someone against whom he had a grudge? This is pointing very strongly to the killer and Michelle possibly knowing each other as acquaintances, but Michelle not having done anything, at all, to arouse his paranoia.

The seventh house of partnerships gives us the ace of wands, reversed. Once again, we are directed to the killer's problems with employment and work relationships. Somehow, this played a role. In the eighth house, of death, legacies, karma, and debt, we have the Wheel of Fortune, which is lucky chance. So our killer had intentions of killing someone, and his opportunity with Michelle constituted "luck", inasmuch as he was concerned! Next, in the ninth house, of law, higher education, "the establishment", and long journeys, we have the Empress, which is the "mother" card in the deck. At the surface, this truly appears to add to the confusion, especially about the motive, but there are some possible interpretations. This is an influence or a person who is not only motherly, but productive. This is not Michelle, but the real reason for the killer's rage.

The tenth house deals with ambition and career goals, and in this house, we get the Star. This is inspiration, and some sort of assistance that the killer got; he had a very good enabler. In fact, it may have been his own mother, harking back to the Empress. That is why he hasn't been identified. In the eleventh house, of hopes, wishes, friends, and social life; we have the Sun. This tells me that the killer has been in plain sight for much of this time, undetected, socializing and living his life. In the twelfth house, of secrets and secret enemies, we have the four of cups, reversed. The four of cups reversed speaks of new relationships and moving on to new circumstances. Seeing it here, in the twelfth house of secrets and self undoing, it appears that the killer moved on, after killing Michell Martinko, and successfully covered his tracks.

Update: A man named Jerry Lynn Burns has been arrested and will go on trial in the murder of Michelle Martinko. He was found through DNA that was left at the crime scene.
