What Happened To Sarah And Jacob Hoggle?

Sarah and Jacob Hoggle are both missing from Montgomery County, Maryland. Jacob was last seen with his mother, Catherine Hoggle, on Sunday, September 8, and Sarah was last seen with her mother the following day. Catherine is now in jail, refusing to reveal the whereabouts of both children, so I will see what the Tarot has to say.

We start with a base consisting of the nine of wands crossed by the Magician, only the Magician is reversed in this case, so his energies are not helpful. The nine of wands indicates that the person who began this course of events, Catherine, was patiently waiting for the right time. This was planned. When we see the Magician reversed, we know to look for abuses of power, and abusive behavior that is rooted in weakness and sometimes, passive aggressiveness. The eight of cups is beneath this, as a contributing factor. This card describes a situation in which one is not happy with choices made or wages earned, after thinking one would be. Next, we have Strength, reversed, which is, once again, telling us that power was abused, only this time, it refers mainly to physical power. So we have a person who felt disinterested in a situation or relationship because she felt that her own choices were overridden or ignored, and power had somehow been abused against her by someone, and we see it manifested again, in her behavior. Somehow, the children are not appearing as anything but pawns to the main player.

A possibility is described by the Knight of Wands, who is a man between the ages of twenty-two and about forty who is capable of "thinking outside the box" at times like this. He is someone who can gather information and communicate, and he somehow has input. Also, the Hermit appears, showing the ongoing search for these children. As a location, this card often indicates hilly terrain, with footpaths. The Hermit's time of day is evening.

In the place of emotional actions and needs, we have the six of pentacles. This message is clear; someone will have to bargain and barter in order to get the necessary information to find these children quickly. Even so, there is still a lack of perception in the part of the main player, here, concerning the importance of finding Jacob and Sarah. In the place of environment, we have the Page of Pentacles, which is the most encouraging card in this reading. This card can portend a young person who enjoys studying and learning, yet it also often tells of important messages. So it appears that a valid message or tip finally comes in. The next card, in the place of desires, is the seven of cups. This is often a card of dreams, or ideas that have not been developed into practical, workable plans. But there is another possibility: as this card is a water card, and as there is also a Seven Locks Road, near the Potomac River, in that part of Montgomery County, Maryland, perhaps it should also be searched. The last card is the Knight of Cups, reversed. Cups are symbolic of water, and when this knight falls reversed, one can also expect deceit and trickery. I honestly think this relates mostly to the testimony given by the mother, so far. I also think the seven of cups may have a triple meaning here, not only telling us about watery locations and half baked plans, but about delusions held by the mother as fact. Sadly, I do not think there will be a happy ending to all this, although I always hope I am wrong about this type of conclusion.

Holly Bobo Found

Holly Bobo, who disappeared in April of 2011, was finally found. Two men had already been charged in her kidnapping and death, but the motive has yet to be established. Hopefully, in addition to closure and justice, Holly's family will get some answers.

Brian Patrick Miller

Brian Patrick Miller is a young man who has been missing since June 2 of this year from Houston, Texas. His truck was found on June 6, but no sign of Brian. Along with the information in the poster above, perhaps the cards can give us some hints.

The basis of the reading is the Queen of Wands, reversed, crossed by the eight of swords. I have not heard about a woman involved in Brian's disappearance, but this queen would be a woman in her late twenties or early thirties with a jealous, manipulative nature and a temper. She may have reddish or blond hair, or dyed or highlighted hair, but the manipulative nature is unmistakable. Somehow, her influence is a large factor in this matter. I never like to see the eight of swords in a reading for a missing person, because it is a card of being trapped, in many cases, physically. As a location, it describes water, usually a pool, pond, or lake.

Beneath this, we have the High Priestess, reversed, lending us another reference to female influence. Upright, this card simply tells us that we have not seen everything there is to see yet, but reversed, there is an element of dishonestly, particularly lying by omission. Another past influence we see is the Sun, which tells us that, prior to his disappearance, Brian perceived no serious threat to his well being. As a physical location, this card points to walled, outdoor gardens. Many decks show a child riding a horse bareback, leaving a walled garden behind.

Another female influence appears in the reading; the Queen of Pentacles. She is practical and intelligent, and as she falls upright, (unlike the Queen of Wands) we can safely assume that she has Brian's best interests at heart. I would look for her to be a brunette. The next card, describing the very near future, is the Ace of Wands. One of the meanings of this card is the start of a new business or enterprise, and I would be inclined to investigate any new business start-ups that have taken place among Brian's close friends or acquaintances. The numeric value of this card is, of course, one, so it could also mean "one" to the south, as south is the direction of wands. I am inclined to think that a new enterprise, to which Brian possibly made some sort of a contribution, is more relevant, though.

The card describing Brian's fears is the Lovers, which could speak of either being unsure in romantic matters, or troubled about a serious choice he needed to make. Possibly both. In the place of environment, we find the Page of Wands, which is, in this case, a message or a clue given to investigators by another person. Once again, we have a reference to fire and south via the suit of wands, and a page carries a numeric value of eleven. Very often, this card is a message, and as it is upside right, a good tip or clue is likely to come in. In the place of desires, we have the Knight of Pentacles, a dark haired man who is very intent upon finding Brian. He does not always say much, and appears to be in the background, but will not give up on finding Brian. As a final outcome, we have a card that I do not like much, and that is the Magician, reversed. This speaks of an abuse of power, and does not bode well for Brian, and also shows that someone is making an effort to make things appear as they are not.

I will keep hoping for the best, and I will try to follow this up if Brian is not found soon.

Where Is Morgan Martin?

Someone asked me for an update to the missing persons case of Morgan Keyanna Martin, who disappeared in Florida. She was five months pregnant, and only expected to be outside for a couple of minutes. It's been over two years since anyone has seen her.

My update dealt primarily with the question of where Morgan is now. The first three cards, representing the past, are the Sun, the King of swords, and Temperance. This describes Morgan's ideas before she went missing. The Sun tells of success and happiness, Temperance is careful combinations, and the King of Swords is an older male thrown into the situation. I believe the Sun is Morgan's pregnancy, and Temperance represents her new considerations for her health and her future. The King is a man who bore some sort of influence on matters.

The next three cards are the Knight of Pentacles, the eight of pentacles, reversed, and The Last Judgment. The Knight of Pentacles is a young man closer to Morgan's age, possibly the father of her child. I would expect him to have an olive to dark complexion, and brown eyes. The eight of pentacles reversed tells us that the Knight had some problems related to employment, in that he was not particularly gifted in his chosen field, but as the card appears in a reading about Morgan, we may safely assume that there was some blame of her, on his part, for this. He was wrong, but perhaps sincerely wrong. The Last Judgment has come up in readings for Morgan in the past, and we see it again. This is a card of renewal, but as a physical location, it speaks of recovery from water. Lakes, bays, and rivers deep enough for sailing.

The last three cards, representing the future, are the three of pentacles, Strength, reversed, and the eight of swords. The three of pentacles refers almost directly to the Knight of Pentacles, who came up earlier. Apparently, circumstances have calmed a bit, in his life. When Strength appears reversed, it tells of abuses of power, and the King of Swords we saw earlier is often a powerful person. As he is older than the Knight of Pentacles and Morgan, he may have had more sway in the course of events, leading to Morgan's disappearance, than anyone else involved. I do not like to see him combined with any card that speaks of abuses of power. The last card, which is the most troubling, is the eight of swords, which in many decks, depicts a maiden trapped in water, surrounded by eight swords. As the card is upright, I take it to mean that Morgan is trapped somewhere. As a location, it also tells of water. Eight, curiously, is also the numeric value of Strength. Somehow, this number fits in....eight deep, eight to the west, ect. The gist of the message and the cards containing the most pertinent clues do not seem to have changed; water, two men, and ulterior motives playing a role. I wish the reading had delivered happier news.

Kara Kopetsky

Kara Kopetsky, of Belton, Missouri, was last seen at her school on May 4, 2007. She was initially listed as a runaway by law enforcement, but it has been seven years....an awfully long time for a runaway to stay hidden. So I will put the obvious questions to the Tarot.

We begin with the seven of swords, reversed, crossed by the eight of swords. The seven of swords generally denotes a theft, or an effort that is incomplete due to lack of ability or resources....the subject is attempting to take or do something he or she does not have a right to take or do. But here, it is reversed, but crossed by the eight of swords, a card of entrapment and restraint. What this gives us is a picture of someone who THOUGHT he or she could either take or get away with something, but actually couldn't. It was tried, though. The background for this is the King of Wands, who is an unyielding older male whose advice should have been followed, and the six of cups, a card of childhood and memories. So a deeper picture of a conflict here has to do with being a child vs. being an adult, and being recognized as an adult. Somehow, and I am not sure where this fits.....a yellow cat seems to be part of the scenario.

Above this, we have the Empress, who is the mother in this situation. Kara's mother is still looking for her, and will not stop until Kara is found. And a future event is Judgement, which is a renewal of search efforts for some reason, possibly an overlooked clue suddenly come to light. As a physical location and event, this card would literally depict an object suddenly being revealed in water deep enough for hidden objects, such as a lake or a reservoir. The swords point us east, yet not east.....once again, the seven is reversed. I would expect the answer to lead us somewhere rather close to where Kara was last seen, within thirty miles.

The Emperor appears at the base of the staff; he is a male with authority in this case, and if not Kara's father, has an air of fatherly authority. He is upside right, so I will assume he is kindly disposed toward Kara, and looking for her, as is her mother. The six of pentacles appears in the place of environment, lending an element of "you get what you pay for", or "give and take" to this situation. Did someone perceive Kara as owing money? Was some sort of blackmail involved here? This card points to a trade or an exchange as having taken place between Kara and someone immediately before she disappeared. The next card is a card of regret: the five of cups. The regret is not on Kara's part, however; it is on the part of the last person to see her. While this person would be a man, I am not seeing a romantic relationship. In fact, the nature of the acquaintance between Kara and this person may have been the source of tension between Kara and the King of Wands. But the five of cups speaks to regret and loss, things that were not intended. It is also another water card. The last card we have is the Moon. The Moon is often psychic knowledge, but can also indicate deception and can tie into the aspect of that which is hidden by the High Priestess. We can be quite certain that Kara probably did not run away from home, but encountered some very bad circumstances that were covered up and well hidden. As a physical location, the Moon is also a watery card, specifically in a place where the reflection of the moon can be seen on the water.

I wish this reading could have given us a more positive outlook. I always advise not to ever give up or stop looking for a missing person until he or she is found.

Using Divination For Locations

Some asked me this question, in relation to Sierra Lamar, and it deserved more than just a short answer, so I got longwinded and wrote an entire post about it! Here's the question: "Can u pinpoint a high area of interest where her body is? Juli do u ever use forsenic astrology or look at other site as reference?"

Once in awhile I look at charts to hone in on a location, event, or person, but forensic astrology is still in it's infancy......inasmuch as interpretations go, anyway......and it seems to be more useful to me in determination of specific elements, rather than exact spots. By that I mean that I would expect a chart for that day to tell me what type of situation Sierra ended up in, and with whom. The cards actually serve me better in terms of exact locations, and in this case a card that we keep seeing, in almost every reading I have done for Sierra, is the four of wands. Other cards that have come up more than once are the eight of swords and the six of cups. The four of wands is a card of celebrations and happy occasions, and as a location it would describe a park or a place where people would gather for family parties. If this card were to point in a direction, it would be slightly to the south, as wands are fire, and the direction of fire is south.

Another card that shows itself frequently in these readings is the eight of swords. Most decks picture the eight of swords with a literal "damsel in distress" trapped in shallow water, surrounded by eight swords. The meaning of this card is a state of having been physically or mentally "trapped" in some way, and often it appears in readings about missing persons to tell us that the missing person, or important clues, can be found in shallow water. Finding such clues is almost never easy, however; as there is a almost always a problem with being "stuck". East is the direction that swords would take us, yet as the card is a card of being trapped or stuck, I would not expect the subject to move very far. So we have a general direction of southeast, but not very far from the general area from where Sierra disappeared.

To look at the six of cups, which we have also seen more than once in readings for Sierra, we get a picture of children playing. Cups represent water, which brings water back into the answer. Not deep water; a pond, shallow lake, creek, or small river. Situational meanings for this card usually include memories and childhood, but when it describes a location it is often an park, playground, or school. I would lean toward a park here because of all the water symbolism we have already seen, and I would expect the park or recreational area to have water for fishing or boating. A reservoir is also a possibility. Cups and water take us west, which brings up the possibility that Sierra's assailant took her one direction, water and elements may have taken her another. Other cards that have come up as clues have been the three of pentacles, the ace of pentacles, and the ten of pentacles, although the ten is almost always reversed. Pentacles point north, but in this case, I think they are telling us that the suspect's workplace either has clues, or that he did not move to far from work for most of his activities.

Another aspect of this is the court cards, which tell us about others involved, and this is where forensic astrology is also often helpful. There has been an adult female referenced in many of the readings for Sierra, and I honestly believe that at least one or two other people know more about Sierra's case than they have let on. This is also why I think Sierra will be found; I think a witness after the fact, or someone who knows a lot about the case will be able to put the information together and find her.

Update On Sierra Lamar

There have been some updates on the case of missing Sierra Lamar, the high school student who disappeared in Morgan Hill, California, in 2012. Sierra has not been found, but some explanations have been published by the media concerning the defendant, Antolin Garcia-Torres, and the evidence against him. I have had a couple of requests lately for another reading on her. The biggest question in front of us concerns how and where can Sierra be found.

The three cards I drew for the past are the Queen of Swords, the four of wands, and the nine of cups. This is interesting, because the four of wands has come up for Sierra in previous readings for location. Also, the cards have hinted in previous readings that a woman connected to the perpetrator has more information than she has given. The four of wands is usually a depiction of a celebration or a party, and such elements appear somehow involved with location here, such as a park or a location where a wedding may have been held. I say "park" because I expect it to be an outdoor location, and I also think there may be a bridge and an older building, that may not be in current or continuous use nearby. This is followed by the nine of cups, The nine of cups encourages us not to give up; it is a card of success in it's own right. The success in this card is more emotional than monetary, however; it suggests that a tip or information from someone who cares about justice will help more than financial resources, here.

The next three cards, drawn for the present, are the Hanged Man, the ace of swords, and Justice. The Hanged Man is suspension and sacrifice. Garcia-Torres refuses to explain the evidence, and Sierra has not been found. Her location is in "suspense". The ace of swords represents a heroic new approach to this dilemma, and as it is followed by Justice, I believe the new approach has to do with the prosecution and their decision to proceed with the case using the evidence they have, despite the fact that Sierra is still missing. Either more cooperation from the defendant will be forthcoming, or another person with information will come forward. My fingers are crossed right now, but that is how this looks so far!

For the future, we have the two of wands, the four of cups, and the nine o wands. This is an interesting correlation to the beginning of this reading, which also gave us a "four" and a "nine" card to describe the situation's past events. The difference is that instead of the Queen of Swords, which tells of a female person, we see the two of wands, which tells of possible assistance or help from......another person. The four of cups is dissatisfaction with the status quo, and the nine of wands is lack of patience. So to put this together, it appears that pressure from the judicial system and some very lucky information from someone who does not mind helping can actually solve this case. I wish things could have gone more favorably for Sierra,

Cooper Harris Dies In A Hot Car

Can you do a reading on the circumstances around the death of Cooper Harris, the twenty-two month old who died after being locked in a car for 7 hours?

This is a bit unusual, since so much of the case and background is already known, but I will see what the cards say. This is a nine card spread, telling us past, present, and future. To my commentor, I have added a link to your question for anyone wishing to see some the published media on this case.

The first three cards here are the Fool, Justice, and the Hanged Man, reversed. The Fool often represents opportunity, but considering the nature of the question, I think he is a blunt reference to the type of choice made by Cooper's father. Clearly, a level of responsibility was needed and not met. Justice falls upside right, next. This does not mean that the death was just, but considering that it is followed by the reversed hanged man, I think it is describing a state of mind: someone directly involved felt "justified" somehow, for the actions taken. When the Hanged man falls reversed, he tells of unwillingness to sacrifice or balance the needs of others against one's desires, or the inability to take responsibility. Justice is also telling us that the direct involvement of law enforcement is appropriate here, because someone knew better, but did not want to go to the trouble it would have taken to be responsible.

The next three cards are the six of cups, the six of wands, and the King of Wands, reversed. The six of cups is a card of memories, often of childhood. The six of swords, on a very basic level, is travel. When the King of Wands falls reversed, we see a man who is unyielding and often impatient, and the message here is that this King did not feel he had time for a child's transportation on this occasion, and felt angry about it. It's very direct and very sad.

The last three cards are the four of pentacles, reversed, the two of swords, and the Sun. The four of pentacles refers to wasted money and resources, connected to this case. The two of swords is a temporary agreement for more time to make a decision about this case, and the Sun is a double reference. It tells us that yes, Cooper died of hyperthermia after being left in a hot car, in the sun, but it also tells us that there will be a quick conclusion to this matter, despite the stalemate in the two of swords.

I guess it bears repeating.....NEVER leave a child or an animal in a hot car.

Molly Miller

Molly Miller, of Oklahoma, disappeared on July 7, 2013, and has still not been found. Since we have almost reached the year anniversary mark, I have done a reading for her.

The foundation is the eight of swords, crossed by the Queen of Swords. This is a clear message of having been trapped and unable to escape. Swords corresponds symbolically to air, which rules communication, and the Queen of Swords either was unable to locate Molly or respond to Molly's last attempt at communication. As the Queen is not terribly well disposed toward Molly, efforts to respond to Molly at the time of her last cell phone call may not have been seriously attempted. Beneath this, we find the Sun, reversed. This indicates cancelled plans. Following this, we have the seven of pentacles, also reversed, which tells us that the cancelled plans concerned money that was either promised or owed, but not paid. The next card we find is the nine of cups, reversed, and when I find it in a reading such as this, it often means that indulgence in drugs or alcohol was a factor. This six of swords reversed follows, telling us that there was no way out of the situation. Inasmuch as the cell phone call was concerned, a clear signal was also a problem.

The first card on the staff, involving fears, is the three of swords, reversed. One of the meanings carried by this card is confrontation with someone who has either been threatened or compromised in some way by the subject of the reading, so we have someone who feels that he or she has been compromised by Molly, and Molly realized that she should not have been where she was. The next card, describing what was observable about Molly at the time she made her unsuccessful phone call is the three of cups, reversed, which is another reference to overindulgence in either drugs or alcohol; and also a reference to endings. In the place of hopes, we have the hierophant, which is tradition and a hope that things will somehow get "back to normal". Sadly, the rest of the reading does not support this. The last card is Judgement, reversed, which supports that things will not be renewed in such a manner that they "get back to normal". I wish it looked different, but that is what I see.

There are a lot of water cards in this reading, and "air" cards that reference water. As a direction, this would point us to the west, but as the six of swords is reversed, I don't think there is significant distance in any direction concerning Molly's location. I think all clues can be found within a three mile distance of where she was last seen. The sun, reversed, is also disturbing in this reading, it makes me wonder if clues are "under the sun", so to speak, but buried or hidden just a little; not enough to have taken a lot of time or effort on the part of the person hiding evidence. At this point, it appears that because of electronic communications and unusual law enforcement decisions, a lot is already known about this case that has been swept under the rug. I hope Molly is found soon, despite all of this.

August Reiger

Just over a year ago, in June of 2013, a young man named August Reiger, from Oklahoma, was visiting Ecuador with his family. While they were hiking, he got ahead of them, and that was the last time they saw him. I had not heard about this case until recently, when someone asked me, in a comment under another reading, if I would do a reading for him.

The reading starts with the seven of cups crossed by the Lovers. Here we have a number of possible ideas and pursuits, and one choice. The Lovers often represents a relationship, but also important choices. Here, it's message has to do with choosing between unexplored and unknown possibilities. Both cards, curiously, relate to water.

Beneath this is another watery card, the Moon. This tells of secrets, deliberate deception, bad luck, and possibly stalkers and secret enemies. Many Tarot decks also portray a wolf and a dog on this card, and my eyes were drawn to them, here. The wolf is the canine in his wildness and glory; the dog is the canine's development after living with Mankind. I believe the suggestion here is twofold: use resources that are both conventional and unconventional to search, and on the mundane level, use search and rescue dogs! The moon is also led by intuition.

The next card describing the past is the nine of wands. This card's general meaning has to do with waiting and patience, sometimes the lack thereof. Because August was hiking when he disappeared, I think there is a practical message here about branches and possibly tripping or falling in or among trees or branches. The next card is a bit disturbing; the seven of wands. This tells me that private property, or some bit of acreage that was perceived as private property, or someone's "territory", somehow became part of this picture. Next, we find the Page of Swords, reversed. Reversed or upright, this card often tells of spying and gathering information. It would appear that information is involved, and that perhaps, by accident, August saw something or someone that others had intended to keep hidden. Reversal of this card refers to unforeseen events, and I think August's presence was a surprise to someone.

The first card on the staff is the two of wands. As a situation, it tells of help in specific pursuits, and as a place, it describes a large house, or a manor. The owner of this "manor" does not see himself as subject to any local laws. The five of cups follows, in the place of environment. Disappointment is indicated here, yet not without hope of partial resolution. We also have the reference to water on this card, and a large house or a "manor" in the background. The next card deals strictly with hopes, and it is the ten of cups. This is a card of familial bliss, and it is the hope of those who are searching for August. The last card is the one I really hate to see in readings about missing persons, and that is the ten of swords. It is a violent card, and often tells of endings. Aside from the water references, that is the only card here that suggests that we may not have a happy ending here. I sincerely hope I am wrong. It appears that August is on private property near a river or some other body of water. I hope he is home soon.

Kyron Horman Case: What Was Officer Staton's Comment About?

"We have knowledge of things we wish we didn't"...... What, exactly, did Sheriff Staton mean by this statement, made shortly after Kyron Horman disappeared in Portland Oregon from his school in June of 2010? Someone wanted to know what the Tarot would say about that comment, and a lot of people have speculated about it and written about it over the last four years, so I will attempt a reading to answer that question. Staton does not appear to have explained what he meant.

The reading begins with the Queen of Pentacles crossed by the four of cups. The Queen of Pentacles is an independent woman with resources and business skill. She is intelligent and ethical, and I would expect her to have dark hair and brown eyes. The most important part of this description is not the physical aspect, but the character aspect, though. She is crossed by the four of cups, which tells of dissatisfaction, yet also of not being quite willing to give up her current course of action.

The main cause of this reaction on the part of the queen appears as the ten of pentacles, reversed. This is usually the loss of a large amount of money that was given, rather than earned, such as an inheritance. It could also signify and insurance policy. As the card is reversed, it speaks of a loss. Hopefully, it is not the risk of not being able to find Kyron, but lets come back to it, if necessary. The next card to describe the past is the ace of cups, which is a new love, or a birth. It can also mean an addition to the family via adoption, or simply love, joy, and fertility. So we have a new relationship, possibly familial, playing into the picture.

The next card, telling us what had been intended, is the two of wands. This is usually an idea-become-a-venture-with-help-from-another, forming a "partnership" of sorts, but in this case, I am inclined to wonder if it is a big enterprise run by a rich person. It also represents two different possible outcomes in this case, and it was very hard for the sheriff to second guess and direct his resources effectively. Next, we have the eight of wands, reversed, which is what the sheriff encountered when he investigated the family. Jealousy, infighting, and disputes, mostly centered on family matters, took center stage.

The Knight of Pentacles appears as a man who went through all information quietly and methodically. Some of his findings have not been published. He and the Queen of Pentacles, most likely a workmate, discovered most of the information that was developed. The Knight of Wands is next on the staff, and his is the face everyone sees, connected to Kyron's case. I think this may be Staton. The next card is Judgement, and as it appears in the place of hopes, it is the hope of finding Kyron. Also, there is a suggestion, with this card, that someone investigating truly expected to find Kyron in water. The last card is Death, reversed, which does not tell us anything about Kyron, but describes Staton's frustration at the failure of the information to help him connect the dots and find him. So it looks like early in the case, it was noticed that there was a lot of familial disagreement and jealousy at play, coupled with money and possibly revenge. The two of wands may also represent the actions of an attorney or other advocate whose "help" is not helpful to Kyron. It looks like Staton was referring primarily to his department's findings about Kyron's family, and some of the relationship stresses and circumstances that hindered Kyron's well being; also about the frustrations of not being able to convince all parties who testified to testify truthfully. The comment appears to center of the obstacles from dealing with testimony and suspects, rather than actual circumstances.

Unique Harris

Unique Harris disappeared right inside her house, seemingly into thin air. Her children woke up one morning and were unable to find her. The only things that disappeared with her are her cell phone and keys. So where is she, and what happened?

This reading begins with the four of pentacles, reversed, which sets a tone of wasted resources, crossed by The Last Judgment. Events were set in motion by someone who didn't want to wisely manage money and material resources, and no chance of renewal of relationships or lost friendship and the conveniences that accompanied the friendship. Founding this, we find the World, with all of it's freedoms and opportunities. And bringing the whole situation down to earth, someone involved here took advantage of that.......a new place to live, and new opportunities. This is reiterated by the appearance of the eight of cups, telling us that Unique had recently discarded a lifestyle and direction she to which she had formerly committed. Something that never materialized, but was in the picture as a possibility, is the King of Pentacles. This is a man who had material resources and a mature, helpful outlook to offer. He was also kindly disposed toward Unique, as he falls upright in this reading. Next, we find the Hermit, which is a card of spiritual and physical searching. Unique was searching for a new direction in life, and that is what prompted her disappearance.

The staff is the part of this reading that bothers me, as it describes other individuals, and motive. In the place of fears and plans, we find the seven of pentacles. This card tells of waiting for a harvest, but here, I think it answers my question concerning what happened as "lying in wait". Someone was lying in wait for Unique, waiting for the most convenient moment to confront her. The Hermit, who appeared earlier, also suggests this. It is followed by the none of pentacles, which gives us a motive: the nine of pentacles is interpreted as financial independence, and whether Unique was actually independent or not, her potential independence was seen as a threat by someone. Also, at face value, these cards are both pentacles, which are associated with the element of Earth, and both of these cards suggest gardens and digging. I do not like them coming up in the positions they have taken in this reading, one right after the other! The six of wands appears next, and this card usually tells of successful communication and messaging....I think she got a call on her cell phone and stepped outside to talk. I think this provided the opportunity for someone to grab her. The final card in this reading is the Empress, which says quite a bit. First, it gives us insight into the fact that a woman is a big part of this picture, possibly the instigator. It also tells us about this woman's relationship to the Hermit, who is a man who is involved, but was closer to the action. Look for her to be "old enough to be his mother". Next, motherhood, and the business thereof, was, at least in part, the motive. Yet, had Unique received any challenges to custody of her young children?

These are the clues given by this reading: more than one person, with a woman calling the shots, digging, gardens, and earth. Pentacles and earth also point north, as does the Hermit, but the four of pentacles is upside down, so perhaps north is merely the direction traveled by the perpetrator. The six of wands also tells us that this crime was premeditated.

National Missing Childrens' Day Is May 25

Today is National Missing Childrens' Day, enacted by Ronald Reagan in 1983, because Etan Patz had disappeared in 1979, and the number of missing children who had not been found was inexcusable. Clearly, the media, in only giving these cases cursory coverage, had it's priorities confused. Above is a reminder about ways that personal information can get into the wrong hands. One does not even need a computer, or social media online, to give the wrong person the information that can leading to stalking and a missing persons case.

Melanie Metheny

Melanie Metheny has been missing from West Virginia since July 19, 2006. Since then, her name has come up in testimony once, during a trial in West Virginia, but she still has not been found.

We start with the four of wands, a happy, celebratory card, crossed by the five of swords, a violent, vengeful card. It appears that Melanie was simply going about her own business on July 19, when she was targeted by a very violent man. This is founded by the ace of wands, which represents the window of opportunity this man was able to open, here. The ace of wands can describe  new family, birth, or business opportunity, and sometimes, an inheritance; but it is always an asset that acts as an opportunity, not something to be hoarded. Whoever the man is, he knew enough about Melanie to know that she had something he wanted, and thought he could take, as illustrated in the six of pentacles, which follows. The six of pentacles tells us that Melanie might have been willing to lend or give this man money, but he, for some reason, wasn't satisfied. As the card has fallen upside right, it does not quite fit the scenario of a robbery, but the violence of the five of swords describes the situation as very similar to a robbery.

The next card is the Knight of Cups, reversed. This man is a liar, who is often involved in theft and fraud. Sometimes, drugs, alcohol, and addiction are part of the picture. This is the person who can lead us to Melanie. The four of swords follows, reversed. I believe the message in this card, as it has come up, is paranoia. The unrest, and sometimes, fear, that are associated with the four of swords falling reversed have a lot to do with why Melanie disappeared. The perpetrator was unwilling to take a chance that she would testify about him.

For self, indicating Melanie, we get the three of cups. As a situation, this is another happy card, but it falls in a place we often find fears. She was aware, at some point, that she had been snatched from a family she cherished.......the ultimate robbery. As a location, it would indicate springs and small streams. For environment, the Tarot gives us the five of cups, which is another water card. The five of cups tells us that clues have been overlooked, and valuable information has somehow been rejected. As a location, it would also indicate streams. In the place of hopes, we find the Emperor, who represents control. He is also a man who would like to see Melanie found. While law enforcement is usually represented by court cards in the suit of swords, I think the Emperor may be an investigator. He would love to use force on the suspect to gain information, as illustrated by the ace of swords appearing as the final outcome, but hopefully, he will remember to be a bit more subtle and mindful of emotions when he gathers information, which is another message of the three and five of cups.

Another suggestion of the four of swords is man-made tunnels and shafts.

Update On Relisha Rudd

A question was posed to me concerning the time frame of finding Relisha Rudd. The Tarot is notoriously difficult to understand in establishing time frames, but I will attempt to answer this question based, not only on linear time, but other considerations. Sometimes, a clue linked to an event can help with a guess about how much time is needed, or the Tarot can give us a suggestion.

The first three cards, which represent the past, are the five of wands, the seven of pentacles, and the five of pentacles. The five of wands tells us about games and trickery. Precious time was lost in reporting Relisha missing, because the perpetrator was playing games with everyone from Relisha's family to her school, and later on, to law enforcement. The seven of pentacles is a situation of carefully waiting for fruit to ripen on a cultivated tree, with tells me that initially, a sincere effort to find Relisha was actually made. It came up empty, as we can see with the five of pentacles. Note that we have two fives here, which can mean five of anything, or the fifth of something........we may have the fifth month, which would be May; or we may have five weeks. The suggestion in the seven of pentacles is that this investigation will take some digging and some legwork before it comes to fruition.

The three cards which represent the the present are Death, reversed; the two of pentacles, reversed; and the Hierophant. When Death appears reversed, we are being told that there is stagnant energy about, as in movement is stalled. The two of cups is a water card; once again, we are reminded that water is part of this entire picture. But as this card falls reversed, there is not only instability in the physical environment, such as rain and varying water levels, but disagreement between the community and investigators about finding Relisha. In the future, the Hierophant foretells some agreement, however. He represents codified conformity and community. Individuals in Relisha's community still feel that authorities have dropped the ball on this situation, though. The reader should note that the numeric value of the Hierophant is also five.

The future of this effort brings us the ten of wands, reversed; the Emperor, and the ace of swords. The ten of wands reversed speaks to the recognition of failed efforts. I say "recognition" because it is followed by the Emperor, who is a decisive male figure with a certain amount of authority. Combined with the Hierophant in the last three cards, he can give searchers a lot of help and direction. The last card is the ace of swords, which augers success, but also tells us that new methods must be employed here. New tools, and possibly an aerial view, either connected to this search; or in some other process, yet yielding clues, nonetheless; will be helpful. But it will happen, and in the meantime, no clue, phone call, message, tip, or sighting should be overlooked or discounted.

Time constraints and time frames are very hard to deduce from Tarot, but it looks like five is a symbolic number, this time. It could be five weeks or five months, or the first week after the fifth month, or the five could mean something else, entirely. This reading gave us something else, though; it showed a few of the challenges in finding this little girl.

New Picture Of Relisha Rudd

This is a recent picture of Relisha Rudd that was shared with me on Facebook. It has been over two months since she was last seen alive, and more searches are planned tomorrow. Awareness is very important in missing persons cases; please feel free to share Relisha's picture.

Brittanee Drexel

The fifth anniversary of Brittanee Drexel's disapearance just passed on April 25, and her case piqued my interest, because she's been missing for so long. No one just vanishes into this air.

We start with the Page of Cups crossed by The High Priestess. Brittanee, the Page, was quite emotional about going on this trip to Myrtle Beach. Her mother, represented by the High Priestess, had not given her permission to go. In this instance, The High Priestess, rather than the Empress, better illustrates the mother's input, because it involved authority and instruction, rather than care taking. These two were at odds, but the ultimate decision to leave home without permission was undertaken by Brittanee.

The four of wands appears in the place of foundation for this situation, only it is reversed. Generally, reversal does not alter the meaning of this card too much, but in this case, I think the card is telling us that the usual party or vacation after hard work described by this card was somehow less than perfect, here. There was still a celebration of sorts, but Brittanee was somehow out of place. The next card is the three of wands, also reversed. This is betrayal, often disguised as friendship or assistance. But why? We find the ten of swords, reversed as a possibility: there was a power play going on, followed by physical violence. I never like to see the ten of swords appear in a reading about a missing person. This is followed up by the ten of wands, which, in this case, is a problem solved by unwise use of power. Ten seems to be a telling number here; it is a number describing completions or endings, but the Tarot could also be trying to give us a clue to location. The ten of wands also suggests that Brittanee was taken somewhere, and did not walk or drive, herself.

Temperance comes up in the place of self, and my attention was drawn to the hills in the background on this card, in the Ryder-Waite deck. This forces me to wonder if this is connected to physical location......Temperance Drive or Road? Temperance Hill? Esoterically and otherwise, this card refers to efficient combinations that work well together, and to melting away impurities. Once is awhile, resisting recreational drugs and alcohol is also suggested by this card, but I really think it calls our attention to the name of a place. The nine of cups came up reversed in surroundings, and card tells of health, good food, and stability when upright, but reversed, it means the opposite. Somehow, too much drinking, or consumption of something toxic or just unhealthy, was part of this picture. The star shows up reversed in the place of hopes; this is pessimism. It can also describe a place where water reflects the light of stars and the moon, but it's position is reversed in this reading, and I would expect to find the subject currently unable to benefit from the hope offered by this card when it falls upside right. The last card is the six of cups. This card is a card of memories of the past, and I would be inclined to look for clues to Brittanee's whereabouts in a place that was familiar to at least one of her companions. It might even be a place one of them frequented as a child. This reading tells of betrayal, so I think someone familiar to Brittanee was involved in her disappearance, rather than a stranger.

How Did Teleka Patrick Get Into Lake Charles?

Teleka Patrick, who went missing on December 5 of 2013, was recently found deceased in Lake Charles, in Indiana. It is thought that she drowned, but there are still many unanswered questions about this case. A reader asked me if I would do a reading to see what the cards would say about how it happened, and I will attempt that.

The first three cards I drew, telling me about the immediate past....before she fell into the water.....are the High Priestess, the Page of Swords, and the seven of cups. The High Priestess represents hidden purpose, and it appears that Teleka had decided upon a direction and destination, but had not shared this information with anyone. The Page of Swords is often a young person, but in this case, I think the card represents a phone call, text message, or an email that Teleka probably received on her phone. The seven of cups reversed is determination and progress. Despite the fact that she did not share her plans with anyone, she still used her phone and social media.

The next three cards, discussing the time she actually disappeared, were the five of pentacles, reversed; the nine of wands, reversed; and the Page of Cups. The five of pentacles reversed redefines her trip as an attempt to re-establish a connection with a friend. The nine of wands reversed tells us that she met with an obstacle of some kind, and this may very well have been the flat tire her car incurred. I am inclined to believe that the Page of Cups is someone who tried to help, as this card often speaks of assistance and help, but who was unsuccessful because Teleka didn't know him. He appears upside right, so I will assume he meant her no harm.

The next three cards, which give us the outcome, are Temperance, the eight of swords, and the three of cups, reversed. Temperance is balence via appropriate combinations. I think Teleka had intended to seek help with her flat tire in a safer venue than the roadside. The eight of swords is almost a picture of what happened: she lost her balence, fell into some water, and found herself trapped, somehow. The three of cups is also a "water" card, but it sometimes augers sad endings as well as different types of imbalances, physical included. I think she may have suffered from hypothermia, which would explain how she was "trapped", and finally drowned. Despite the speculations surrounding Teleka's death, I do not believe it was a suicide. This reading portrays it as an accident. Prayers to Teleka's family.

Teleka Patrick Found

Sadly, Teleka Patrick was found deceased in Lake Charles, in Porter, Indiana last week. It appears that she drowned, but there still seem to be more questions than answers, so I will follow this up with a reading about how it happened.

Relisha Rudd

Relisha Rudd is an eight year old girl who was last seen by those who know her in March 1 of this year. So far, no witness has been able to provide reliable details on her whereabouts, and at least one suspect has been found deceased. While the poster above describes an event that has already taken place, this was the best picture I could find that was also combined with contact information.

The reading starts with the ace of pentacles crossed by the seven of swords. This ace tells of prosperity in it's early stages, and the seven of swords crossing it suggests that counsel and premeditation of some kind are, or were, required due to lack of ownership or lack of skill. This is an unusual way for a reading about a missing child to begin, and it already looks as if Relisha was taken by someone who did not have custodial rights to do so, and it looks like money may have been a motive. The Hierophant appears below this, telling us that someone felt a need to "conform". While this may have been Relisha's mother, trying to create a more stable lifestyle, there is also a possibility that this is how the perpetrator was able to take Relisha.....by blending in and pretending to be legitimate.

The nine of pentacles appears in the recent past, and this is a card of stability; somehow, this plays a role in motive and location here. This is a situation in which Relisha blended in while she disappeared, and still somehow blends in. The card telling us of that possible outcome, and possibly the best outcome, is the Lovers. This card not only represents romance, but the element of choice. This is for the future, and something that has not come to pass, so I will say more about this later on. The next card is the Knight of Pentacles, who is a middle aged man connected to this. His position has to do with the very near future, so I do not believe he is the suspect who was found deceased. As he is upside right, I will assume, for now, that he is kindly disposed toward Relisha. Perhaps he is the person who will find her.

In the place of fears, we find Judgment. This points to someone being afraid of the truth getting discovered. It bothers me a bit, because it is a fear I would connect with the perpetrator, rather than with Relisha, herself. I would feel more comfortable about Relisha's welfare if the card described something a victim might feel in this situation. The next card, in the place of environment, is the five of wands, telling us of deception and games being played with investigators and authorities. Following this, we find the four of cups, which is the card of re-evaluation and discontent. Someone connected to Relisha's disappearance is less than happy with the status quo of the situation, and thinking about finding a way to come clean. And the reading ends with the seven of cups, reversed, which is determination and will; also of cutting dreams down to size. This is the card I find myself inclined to connect with choice described by the Lovers, which came up earlier in the reading. Despite the death of the last known person to see Relisha, there is someone else with information, and that person is trying to find a way to communicate with authorities.

Nothing in this reading clearly points to this little girl being deceased, but I am always unnerved when cards representing perspectives and feelings of involved parties focus on the perpetrator instead of the victim. That is really the only thing about thing about this reading that truly scares me for Relisha. The other worry has to do with possible locations: three cards in this reading that involve water: the seven of cups, the four of cups, and Judgment. The suggestion in Judgment is that Relisha might be found in or near water, tagged along with a suggestion by the five of wands that a place where games and sports have been played is also linked to location. Water is also represented in the Lovers. Forensic evidence, such as IP numbers and cell phone data, will also be helpful in solving this case. I hope Relisha is found very soon. Five and a half weeks is way too long for a child to be missing.

April Susanne Wiss

What happened to April Susanne Wiss, of Wichita Kansas, in January of 2000? She was sixteen at the time she disappeared, and would be thirty now. Law Enforcement was largely not concerned about April's absence, regarding her as a runaway. Fourteen years seems like an awfully long time for a runaway situation.

We begin with the Page of Wands crossed by the Hanged Man. The page can be a message or a person here, and the Hanged Man is assistance that is above and beyond the call of duty. This is founded by Judgement, which, on a mundane level, is often fact-finding and legal agreements......not necessarily legal trials, but agreements. April had some important news to share somewhere, but judging from the position of the Hanged Man, it appears that she was not properly prepared to share her message, and not properly compensated.

We move on to the seven of wands, appearing in the background, as well. This is a card of self protection and of guarding one's home or surroundings. Young April and her family were really trying to keep known dangers at bay. The two of pentacles appears reversed as the outcome of those efforts: messages pertaining to something important were somehow missed by April, advice was overlooked or ignored, and she was unable to handle two conflicting pressures at the same time. The Knight of Wands appears as a young man who was somehow involved in transporting April away from home on the last evening she was seen alive. He appears upside right, and it looks as if he somehow felt that his contribution to April's disappearance was innocent. He was someone who was trusted by April and by those around her.

The reason she did not return home has to do with the reversed two of pentacles and Judgement. There was a sense of something that had been buried or swept under the carpet coming back out and creating major changes. The problem the actual perpetrator had with April has to do with monetary risk and loss of business reputation. This is illustrated by the ten of pentacles appearing reversed in the place of fears. In the place of environment, we have the King of Pentacles, and he is the one who can tell us why April never came home. There is also a suggestion of payment for making April disappear: he "didn't want to get his hands dirty". This is a middle aged man with a career; someone who can buy testimony and scare people. His power has more to do with economics local to his town than actual power. On surface levels, no one would suspect him of committing a crime, and if someone did, there would be pressure to look the other way. His hope was to keep everyone looking for April, as portrayed by the Hermit in the place of desires, but that was all he really ever wanted. He did not want anyone to actually find her. This reading ends with the Wheel of Fortune reversed as the final outcome. This refers to the perpetrator's general feeling about April....he just thought she had an unlucky day, and that she was insignificant enough not to matter.

The ten of pentacles came up reversed in this reading, as did the Wheel of Fortune, which is number ten in the major arcana. A possible dark clue concerning location? In the physical realm, these two cards could be interpreted as a description of family owned property or a business that had somehow been risked. The ten of pentacles reversed speaks of poor risks, and the Wheel of Fortune is all about ups and downs and risks. Also, a search warrant will be needed in order to find April, or find any evidence connected to her missing persons case. "Family" honor, "family" obligation, and monetary risk are all motives, and these are people who feel entitled.

I really hate to see a message like this about a sixteen year old girl.

Teleka Patrick

Teleka Patrick has been missing from Michigan, since December 5 of 2013. She had recently graduated from medical school, and was reported missing when she did not show up for work. Her car was later found in Indiana, but no sign of her. There has also reportedly been no activity in her bank account and no email or social network activity.

To the question of what happened to her and where; this is what the cards have to say. The reading begins with the ace of wands crossed by the Chariot. The ace is a new beginning or a new enterprise. Following this new beginning provided the circumstances her to disappear. The chariot provides a vehicle for following our dreams, or sometimes on mundane levels as a simple car; but in this case, something misfired. The promise represented by the ace of wands cancelled out by the Chariot getting pulled in two different directions. The seven of cups appears reversed beneath this, indicating that there was an agreement or a plan in the beginning.

The three of swords appears as one of the last things that happened before Teleka disappeared. This card, when upside right, often tells us about lovers' quarrels and break-ups. It also appears quite often in readings concerning divorce, but Teleka was not married. We can safely assume that an emotional disagreement took place between Teleka and someone else. The Hermit appears as a possible result of these events, and he is usually seeking wisdom and answers. As he is in the position of what should have happened, it looks as if Teleka should have done more research about the person or persons of her acquaintance, or about her new ventures. I feel that someone actually suggested more research and information, too. The next card we see is the two of swords, which represents a grudging compromise, or a stalemate.

In the place of fears, we see the Queen of Cups. This is a sensitive, emotional woman. She is using her heart as her guide. In the place of environment, we have the ten of cups, which is a card describing balence, success, happy family environment, and friendship. This element is part of her current whereabouts. In the place of hopes, the five of cups appears. So far, there has been no direct suggestion that this woman is no longer with us, but the five of cups upside right hints strongly at regret. It is followed by the King of Swords, reversed, whose conflict with the Queen of Cups was cruel and unexpected. He is the person who can tell us more about what happened to Teleka. As he is represented by Swords, he could be in law enforcement or the legal profession......if he is in medicine, I would expect him to be more involved in something that is as non-personal as possible, as he would lack a bedside manner.

Water is strongly suggested as a location in this reading. There are four cards from the suit of cups, and three from swords. Cups are water, swords are air, but the two of swords in the Ryder Waite deck has a sea in the background, representing temporarily stilled emotions. Because of all of these water references, I am inclined to say water has a lot to do with Teleka's current location. The best advice for finding her in this reading is the Hermit, and his advice to Teleka to slow down, check references, and learn more. Check with everyone who may have spoken with her about personal matters during the week or so before her disappearance. Someone who spoke with her can offer clues, but does not realize it yet.

Leigh Marine Occhi

Leigh Marine Occhi disappeared from her home in Tuppelo, Mississppi, during Hurricane Andrew in 1992. As the story goes, Leigh was only home alone for about an hour, but when her mom came home that morning, all she could find was blood and other evidence of violence, but no Leigh. I have gotten a couple of requests for readings, so I will do one. There did not seem to be many pictures of her, and this was the best poster I could find, with contact information, as well as pictures.

The first two cards in this reading are the King of Wands crossed by the eight of wands. The King of Wands is upside right, so I will assume he means Leigh no harm, but the eight of wands is telling us of jealousy playing a role in the situation. Beneath this is the three of wands, which bespeaks assistance in this child's disappearance, so there was more than one person involved. The ace of wands also appears in the recent past, (of this event) telling us that a new opportunity enjoyed by someone was also a factor. The nine of wands comes up in the place of things that would have been best, had they materialized, and the nine of wands upright almost always denotes a need for patience. Patience was lacking. The next card is the Hermit, and he is an older man who is still looking for Leigh.

The ten of pentacles comes up in the place of fears, and this bothers me in this reading, because it represents a fear of losing an inheritance, or a fear of losing a financial opportunity that is more of a gift than an earned bonus or salary. Often, a card depicting money or resources in a position like that will speak to motive for a crime, and it looks as if a fear of loss of material resources was a type of motive here. Also, a resentment, looking back to the ace of wands, over an opportunity that someone was going to be obligated to pass on, but very grudgingly. Bringing us to environment, we see Justice, reversed. The message is quite clear, there has been no justice. Judgement also comes up, but upside right. This is a fear, and someone has a fear of this child being found. Plain and simple. The five of wands is the last card here, and it is a card of violence and revenge. I really hate to see it in this child's reading, because the message is one of vengeance inappropriately expressed toward a child.

Physical location would appear to be water in this case, and I say this because of the Judgement card, which features the past, or esoteric resurrected souls, rising out of the water. Also the three of wands is often help in the form of moving something through or over water, and I hope nearby watery places were checked as well as they could be. I wish the reading could have been more positive.

Anthony Patrick Sinisgalli

Anthony Patrick Sinisgalli disappeared in August of 1987. He left his car at a rest stop in Kansas, with his belongings left inside. No one has seen him or heard from him since. I will ask the Tarot what happened to him, and ask about his current whereabouts.

The reading begins with the Page of cups crossed by Temperance. What an unusual message! The Page of Cups is usually a young person, but sometimes it can be a message of a birth, or a new idea. This is crossed by Temperance, which indicates careful planning, or "tempering" of a plan or idea. Beneath this is the nine of cups, indicating that Anthony's home life was satisfactory, and that he lacked nothing material. But behind him, we find the eight of wands, reversed, which tells of jealousy and disputes, often romantic. A woman whose life was involved at the time is described by the Queen of Cups; she is creative and sensitive, usually a good mother. I would expect her to have been in her twenties at the time Anthony disappeared. The next card is Strength, reversed. This is a very blunt message about a lack of courage on someone's part: facing someone and explaining the truth, or one's actions was found to be extremely difficult by someone involved in Anthony's case. It was very possibly Anthony.

The King of Wands appears in the place of self image and self perception. This king is usually married and is a good husband and father. This is Anthony's perception of himself, and is also how others see him. The next card, describing environment, is the ace of pentacles. This is a very unusual card to appear in a missing person's reading, as it describes a lucrative opportunity. Nonetheless, I must call it as I read it, and the card is here! The next card, in the place of hopes, is the Emperor. This is Anthony's hope: that he was and is a good father. Could a mistress and an unplanned pregnancy have been part of this picture? Investigators need to consider it!

The last card, describing the final outcome, is the Magician. He represents planned changes done with skill in a reading; he also represents skilled and professional assistance. This ties in with Temperance in the beginning of the reading....careful and moderate planning. It also suggests very strongly that Anthony had help "disappearing", and that he may have done so intentionally. Something I do not see in this reading is violence, which is interesting. Hopefully, anyone who did not get the appropriate closure will hear the explanation necessary, one day.

Elisa Lam

Elisa Lam, of Vancouver, British Columbia, was last seen alive in January of last year. About three weeks after she was reported missing, she was found in a rooftop cistern in the Cecil Motel in downtown Los Angeles. Her drowning death was ruled accidental. No one is sure exactly how long Elisa was in the cistern; the estimate was about three weeks. For an accident, this seems a bit strange. So I will ask the cards how it really happened.

We begin with the ace of swords, crossed by the King of Cups. In this instance, the King is reversed, making him unkindly disposed toward Elisa. He is also older and more experienced than Elisa. The ace of swords is a triumph or forceful new start of something; sometimes this card describes fertility. Could a pregnancy or a suspected pregnancy have been part of this picture? Founding this, we have the nine of wands, which tells of a need for patience and tenacity. Elisa was waiting for something or someone. As a past event affecting this matter, we have the ten of pentacles, which is inheritances and real estate properties. And then, in the unrealized expectations, we have the two of cups, which is partnership. As the King of Cups has appeared reversed, we can assume his involvement in the partnership described by the two of cups is shady. The next card is Justice, reversed. Somehow, Justice has been denied it's say in this matter. Elisa somehow met an unjust end, and a proper account of contributing factors has not been made.

In the place of fears, we find the six of cups, which, once again, is a reference to children. Somehow, a fear of this aspect of family life weighed heavily on the mind of someone connected to this situation. The two of pentacles appears in the card of environment, telling us that there was an inability, on someone's part, to manage two situations; in this case, partnerships, at once. The next card is the seven of swords, which; once again, refers to taking what one either does not own or cannot manage. The last card is the four or swords, which represents sudden activity after a lull. Sometimes, this activity is the result of discontent.

For all appearances, Elisa Lam was the victim of a lover who could not countenance any publicity of the relationship, yet it has been categorized as an accident.
