Will Sierra Lamar's Case Ever Be Resolved?

Sierra Lamar went missing in March of 2012, and it has been almost two years with no answers. A suspect has been charged, but not tried. His court dates continue to get continued. So will her case ever be solved?

Three cards here indicate the search and investigation in the past: the ace of cups, the Hierophant, and the Queen of Cups. Water has always come up in readings I have done in the past, connected to this case, and continues to do so. The element of the suit of cups is water, and the ace is often a river. The Hierophant is tradition, and traditional search methods have been used, albeit unsuccessfully. The justice system is another traditional "system" that is being relied upon, even though the defendant has not responded in the manner expected by investigators and the prosecution. There is also a woman connected to the investigation, showing up in this reading as the Queen of Cups. She has intuitively put together quite a few pieces of the puzzle, already. She would like to find Sierra before insisting upon moving forward in court.

The three cards I pulled for the present are the nine of pentacles, the King of Wands, and the Magician. One of the meanings of the nine of pentacles is completion of a project, and this meaning seems to fit my question about resolution to the case better than any other possible meanings this card has, even though the case has not been solved. The King of Wands is someone male who is also connected to the investigation, and has been since the beginning. He gets some information that comes as a surprise, follows up on it, and turns to the Magician, who is an expert at gathering and analyzing evidence. At this point, I should state the obvious; these cards definitely want to discuss the resolution of finding Sierra and bringing closure to those who love her, rather than prosecution. As the Magician is upside right, I think someone may actually bring him some actual evidence to work with.

The future shows us the six of cups, the High Priestess, and the four of swords, reversed. The six of cups is looking back at the past. Places that have been searched, places the defendant and Sierra have both visited, and; once again, water. A garden with water, a place that somehow welcomes children...yet looks to the pasts of the individuals involved in the case. The High Priestess also deals with water, but in a different way.....she is the subconscious. She also represents things that are hidden. As a physical location, she could also represent a church dedicated to a female saint. The four of swords reversed is renewed activity, successful renewed activity, but with a bit of social unrest. I don't think that finding Sierra, all of the evidence, and a successful prosecution is going to lay this case to rest peacefully. There will be a lot of outcry.

All of the water symbolism points us in a slightly westward direction, and other symbols that jump out at me from the cards are a lake, a river, a garden, a hand, and children playing...ala the six of cups. As unbelievable as it seems, I do see this case resolved one day, sooner than anyone thinks.

Richard Cody Haynes

What could possibly have happened to Cody Haynes, who disappeared in September of 2004? He was eleven when he went missing, and now he would be twenty. The image on the far right of the poster is a computer generated image of how Cody would look as an adult.

This reading starts with the King of Swords crossed by the Knight of Swords. Yikes! Two males of the suit of swords! Luckily, they are both upside right, so I think they can be linked to the investigation. Law enforcement and the judicial system are often represented by court cards of the suit of swords, and it's element is air. So we know that the investigation is still open, and even if it seems like a lost cause, someone in an investigative position is still earnestly looking for Cody Haynes.

Beneath this is Judgement, which tells us not to give up, a conclusion will be reached. Water is also indicated on this card, as a physical location. But this is in the past, as the reason the King and Knight of Swords are looking for Cody, in the first place. The opposing forces in this matter, also drifting into the past, are represented by the High Priestess, who speaks of things that are hidden. She also deals in water, as it hides things from time to time, and on less physical levels, represents the subconscious. Another "watery" card we find, in possible conclusions for this case, is the Page of Cups. This is a message, or a tip to law enforcement, from a young person, and the message comes from the heart. The element of cups is water, once again. Something we must recognize though, is the reality represented by the eight of swords, which tells us that Cody did not reappear because he was trapped somewhere. Water is part of the imagery of the Ryder-Waite eight of swords, and taking this card at literal, face value, we would see a suggestion that Cody may be trapped in shallow water somewhere.

Another Page that comes up in this reading is the Page of Swords, representing the fears of the person who knows what happened to Cody, yet has not come forward. There may be a witness, or an accomplice after the fact, who is young and has the answers law enforcement seeks. The five of swords comes up as a picture of what happened to Cody. This card is a card of violence, and sometimes of revenge. This is followed by another five, the five of wands, which is in the place of the perpetrator's hopes. Someone here is hoping to get away with playing games with the investigation and those who are looking for Cody. Also, deception is the main message when these two cards appear together in a reading. The nine of pentacles concludes the reading, and this card, in a reading such as this, tells of accomplishment. I think we will find, sadly, that Cody suffered violence for no reason, and that water plays a role in keeping him hidden.

Update For Morgan Martin

Morgan Martin, Florida teen who went missing in July of 2012, is still missing. When someone asks me for an updated reading on a cold case, such as this one, I almost never know specifically what question to put to the Tarot. It's also very disappointing that these cold cases, especially ones involving children, exist in the first place. Perhaps the most important question in this case right now has to do with where Morgan Martin can be found. She was also between sixteen and twenty weeks pregnant at the time of her disappearance.

I simply asked the question, "Where is Morgan Martin?" The reading is already unique in that the cards all fell reversed. We begin with three cards for the past, which are, the Magician, the seven of wands, and the nine of swords. When the Magician falls reversed, he speaks of abuses in power. This is someone who either has some personal or political power in the part of Florida where Morgan lived, or has the ear of someone who does. This power was used against Morgan, and was further abused in covering up events that took place after Morgan left her home for the last time. The seven f wands, when upright, is guarded property and a guarded home; but when this card falls reversed, it is the opposite. Morgan had let her guard down completely, and that is how she became vulnerable. The nine of swords signifies imprisonment, especially false imprisonment.

For the present, we have the ace of cups, the Page of Cups, and Judgement. I believe we saw Judgement in an earlier reading for Morgan. The ace of cups does not bode well for the unborn child. Upright, it refers to birth and fertility, along with joy, but reversed, it tells of the opposite of those things. Likewise the Page of Cups, who is also reversed here. The reversed Page goes a step further and assures us that a deliberate deception can be revealed under the right circumstances, though, so we can be sure that Morgan's disappearance was no accident. Fear of death and disillusionment are what we are being shown by Judgement upside down, those were elements on Morgan's part.

What we will find in the future are the ten of swords, the three of pentacles, and the four of cups. The ten of swords is a card of violent endings, either reversed or upright. When reversed, the message is power, but short lived. Once again, we are getting hints that someone with some power played a role in this situation, but it will not last. The three of pentacles is a card of craftsmanship, yet it falls reversed; and I think it helps to explain the ten of pentacles and the Magician a little bit; it is telling us that someone who was charged with bringing events to light decided, instead, to hide clues and obscure the truth. The last card is the four of cups. When we get this card reversed, we have a sigh of relief.....someone jumping from new relationship to new relationship and from novelty to novelty.

For the answer to the question of "where"; I must conclude that water is a dominant geographic feature in Morgan's current surroundings. The three cards for the present gave me two cards from the suit of cups, and the element corresponding to cups is water, and Judgement is, on mundane, or everyday levels, a "watery" card in and of itself. As a physical location, it tells of traversing and rising out of water, typically a large lake or an ocean, but not travelling to new places. Reversed, it would simply tell of water as a hiding place, rather than a springboard or an agent of rebirth.

Alexis Murphy

Alexis Murphy disappeared from Northern Virginia last month. She is seventeen years old, and while her cell phone has been located, she has not. There is also a suspect in custody, in connection to her disappearance, who has been denied bond. Alexis was last seen at a gas station in Lovingston, Virginia, and after that, seems to have vanished completely. So where is she, and what happened?

We begin with the three of wands crossed by the High Priestess. The three of wands represents the gas station and the business, customers, and community. The High Priestess is mystery, and hidden matters, with a touch of feminine influence. The subconscious mind is also represented by this card, and I am convinced that a customer or patron saw Alexis there, and also saw either a person in her acquaintance, or a vehicle that is part of the scenario; yet does not realize that it was Alexis, or realize the importance of what was seen. The matter of things that are hidden appears as an obstacle, so the advice to counter that problem is obviously to keep information and contact numbers for law enforcement in prominent places at the gas station, and keep asking everyone who was in the vicinity to come forward with any detail, no matter how unimportant it might seem. There is either a reluctant witness, or a witness who does not realize that he or she is a witness, and the gas station can somehow yield more clues.

Beneath this, we have the three of pentacles. Note that we have another "three"! This is the card of the craftsman, and speaks of a man who is very good at his job. It is followed by the King of Wands, and he falls upright, so I am going to assume, for now, that he is favorably disposed toward Alexis, and trying to find her.  The card representing his best chance of doing that is the nine of pentacles, which is solitude and waiting for counsel before acting. Security, and protecting one's assets is an obstacle in effort to find Alexis.  This card could also represent a woman, who does not want to step away from her secure "comfort zone" in order to come forward with something she has seen. What follows, as something that will happen soon, is the seven of cups. This represents scattered forces as a result of invalid choices and offerings, and energies wasted on things that do not pan out. So far, a large amount of this King's energy has been wasted.

The five of pentacles, reversed, is the first card on the staff. This is someone's fear, and it is a fear of something, or someone, being returned. Next, we have the influence of a person as the environment of this matter: the Knight of Pentacles, reversed. When reversed, this knight is lazy, dishonest about financial matters, and careless and sloppy. He, too, has a connection to the three of pentacles, only he is not very good at his job. He is also a bit of a fraud. The card describing this Knight's hopes and favorite passion is Strength, reversed, which is abuse of power, and sometimes physical abuse. The last card is the Chariot, reversed, which tells us that the wills of two individuals are at odds right now about which direction to take evidence. The opposite opinions and energy forces cannot work together to move the chariot, so it stands still. On mundane levels, this card sometimes refers to vehicles which have broken down. Another possibility connected to this card is message that no one traveled very far. This is one more thing that takes us back to the gas station for clues.

The presence of two cards with values of three lead me to believe that Alexis is not far from the last place she was known to have been seen........about three miles. The pentacles point north, but the cups point west. The High Priestess also has a connection to water, as does the seven of cups. Water somehow aided the hiding of evidence, and is still obscuring the Truth. I hate to see cards like Strength, reversed, in connection to persons directly involved.....in this case, the reversed Knight of Pentacles. This tells me that Alexis somehow ended up in the company of someone who either abuses his own strength, or some type of power he either has over others, or just had over her.

Hopefully, Alexis will be found soon.

Update For Kate Phillips

Katherine Phillips disappeared over a year and a half ago, and while her biological father is still in jail over this, Katherine has never been found. There were a couple of requests for an update.

I drew three cards for the past, which are the four of pentacles, reversed; the nine of swords, reversed; and the ten of cups. The four of pentacles reversed tells us about the wasting of resources instead of prudence in the area of paying bills. Clearly, someone involved in the situation with Katherine did not want to grow up and learn to budget money. Next, we have the nine of swords, reversed, which is worry, followed by the ten of cups, which, I believe, is Katherine's birth. While the birth was definately a happy event, and Katherine was very wanted, her presence caused worry for at least one party. But......everyone following this case already knew this much!

The next three cards are the four of wands, reversed;the ace of cups, and the four of swords, reversed. Four is a number that represents Family in Taosim, and in my opinion, the presence of these two fours in Katherine's reading screams "family"! Upright, the four of wands tells of happy family events, weddings, or parties, and reversed it often tells the same story, but sometimes as clouded, or imperfect happiness. The ace of cups refers, once again, to birth and happy news. The four of swords reversed is sudden activity after dormance. So.....the disappearance was planned, somewhat, and "sprung" on someone who did not suspect.

Finally, we have the seven of cups, reversed, representing the use of will and reason....we can safely assume that responsible party was not "insane". This is followed by the four of cups, also reversed. Another "four"......this one referring to new relationships and communications. Still a reference to "family"........I think the baby is somewhere near the biodad's last residence. All of the cups in this reading also speak of water, as water is the element that relates to cups, and point west. I do not think this baby ended up very far to the west, though. The final card is the Wheel of Fortune, which tells me that when Katherine is found, it will be by lucky chance. Ten is the value of the Wheel of fortune; perhaps that is a number of importance here.....could it corrospond to the ten of cups? Tenth Road? Ten feet? Ten ponds? Water is undoubtedly part of this picture now, whether is was when Katherine first disappeared or not. She is also not far from the home of someone in her family.

Robin Pope

Robin Pope was last seen in Maryland on March 1 of this year. So far, a few clues have been found, but no one has heard from Robin.

So what happened to Robin Pope and where is she? The reading begins with the six of swords, reversed, crossed by the seven of wands. The six of swords usually involves travel when it is upright, but reversed, it means quite the opposite. But water is somehow still part of the picture, just not travel over it or through it. The seven of wands is all about guarded knowledge or guarded property. I am going to venture a guess that about six to ten feet of water on private property, where law enforcement would need a warrent to search, is an important part of this picture.

As a foundation for this event, we have the three of swords, reversed. This tells of romantic and marital break-ups, and of difficulty in reaching agreements when rifts have taken place. This is an event that served as a cause of Robin's disappearance. The next card shows us the Knight of Swords attempting to disappear into the past. This is often a card of violence, either an event or a person, and here I would say he represents both. As a person, he would be a middle aged male who is capable of violence and has a motive for the same. Possibly blue eyes and light brown or greying hair. A possible future connection this man may seek out is the King of Pentacles, reversed. This is an older man, who is focused on money. As he falls reversed, do not expect him to be honest or have Robin's best interest at heart. Another future omen is the eight of swords. This fortells difficulty locating Robin, and tells us that wherever Robin is, she is trapped. The message here is similar, in this case, to what we saw in the reversed six of swords........non-movement and a few feet of water. I hope that I am wrong. Another possible message here is that the case gets stalled for awhile, for some reason.

The person who knows where Robin is would like to avoid the discovery of evidence by young people hunting or playing, and finding evidence by accident. The Page of Wands appears in the place of his fears, and he is already worried about young people, or, for some reason, children, divulging and announcing his secrets. Strength reversed appears in the place of environment, telling us that abuse of power has also played a role in this situation. Either someone in a position of authority has dropped the ball and refused to bring Robin home and have this perpetrator charged, or the person on whose property the evidence, or Robin herself, is hidden knows exactly what is going on and refuses to allow anyone to search. In the place of hopes, we find the Chariot, reversed. This is a card of voided projects and sometimes, unthical victories. Also, there is a message here that is similar to the reversed six of swords and the eight of swords; by this perpetrator's design, Robin has not been found. The final outcome here is Temperance, which is a good card. It points to workable and productive combinations, so we can expect forensic evidence, the mundane and physical meaning of this card here, and law enforcement, the "people" part of the mix, to work together and solve this case.

Sabrina Aisenberg

Sabrina Aisenburg disappared in Florida in 1997. She was only five months old, and while her parents have since moved to Maryland, no clues to her whereabouts have ever been found.

The basis appears as the six of pentacles crossed by the two of swords. This gives an atmosphere of working for a wage and sharing financial resources while wondering which direction to turn in life. A truce in an ongoing conflict about how money should be spent or invested. At the foundation, we have the ten of cups, telling us that at one time, the Aisenbergs were reasonably happy, as a family. The Hanged Man also appears in the past, and he tells us that at a certain point in time, this happiness ended with the abandonment of spiritual interests in favor of selfish pursuits. Possibly, this ties in with conflicts about how money was spent. Crowning this, we have the Fool, which represents chances that were never taken, and opportunities upon which were never acted. What could all of this have possibly had to do with Sabrina? The next card is the Sun, reversed. This refers to a possible broken engagement, or a voided contract.

Looking more closely at this mix of cards, it would almost appear as if the reversed Sun was actually telling us that there as been a "cloud cover" placed over events that have somehow been swept under the rug. The ten of cups also speaks of water, as does the Hanged Man. The cards would almost appear to describe an accident involving water. Nonetheless, I do not see violence, or deliberate malice here.

The first card on the staff is the Queen of Wands. She is in the place of environment as per the emotions and fears. Her imput into the situation has been key to the movement, or lack thereof, in this case. Next, we see the World, in the place of environment as dictated by actual events, and this represents travel........on the part of the Queen of Wands, not Sabrina. In the place of hopes or fears, we have the nine of wands, which speaks of defensiveness and a very prepared state in case of an attack of some sort. The final card is the King of Wands, correlating directly to the Queen of Wands. He is an adult male connected to the situation, and all future movement in the case depends upon him.

Amy Bradley

Amy Bradley, of Virginia, disappeared without a trace during a cruise in March of 1998. Her picture is on the left; it is requested that if anyone knows anything about her case, please call the FBI, or the nearest American Consulate. Over the years, several people have reported sightings, but nothing has ever come of it. So what happened to Amy Bradley? We start with the five of swords, a card of anger and revenge, reversed, crossed by the Queen of Pentacles. Okay....now we know that some element of this is personal. This Queen is a woman of financial creativity and independence, but there is conflict, and this has something to do with Amy's disappearnce. We go into some background and find the five of cups, denoting a recent loss relating to this queen and Amy, but it was on a personal, or friendship level, not necessarily financial. The Knight if Wands factors in here, too. He is a young man, in his twenties, with lots of energy and attraction. At one point, he took center stage, inasmuch as amy was concerned. The Star appears in the place of things that were expected; optimism and spiritual support. Also, this is a "water" reference, as in reflections of stars and lights upon water.

Next, we see the nine of cups, reversed. It refers to events on the ship itself, and it is also an imperfection that existed in the plan of the person who knows what happened to Amy. This is when Amy went from being onboard to not being onboard. It seems likely, via the five of cups and the reversed nine of cups, that she disappeared between the hours of 5AM and 9AM. Once again, the whole thing was personal, and had to do with friendship and emotions. Cups are water and feelings. The next card, in the place of fears, was the two of cups, reversed. This card is a little more telling, showing a fear of a broken partnership or friendship. Also, with the cups, we still have our water symbolism. Next we find the four of wands, which is a card of familial celebration and familial relationships.......this aspect somehow enters the scenario. This is followed by the reversed eight of swords representing the fears and sometime desires of the person who knows Amy's situation. It speaks of a desire to be free of something. The last card is the Empress, reversed. There is a pseudo-motherly influence here.....and very perverse, feminine "imprint" upon this whole situation. This is the person who can tell us why Amy disappeared.

Update On Caleigh Harrison

Caleigh Harrison, who went missing from Rockport Beach, Massachusetts, this past Spring, has still not been found. I will try to do an update to the reading I did in May, when she disappeared. For the past, I drew the two of wands, the hierophant, reversed, and the two of swords. This tells us that whatever happened, more than one person was involved, a very unreliable explanation was given both for Caleugh's disapearance and for wherever Caleigh ended up, and the search is stalled now.

For the present, we have the Page of Wands, reversed, the Moon, reversed, and the Knight of Cups. The Page of Wands is often a message or information, and upside down, this would either be bad news or no information. The Moon reversed is deception and bad luck. The Knight of Cups is a young man, betwee the ages of nineteen and about thirty-five with light brown hair and blue of hazel eyes. Somehow, such a person has a role in this. Water could also play a role.

For the future, we have Temperance, lending another watery influence, but somehow balenced; the Page of Swords, reversed, and the five of wands. I do not like this.....the Page of Swords reversed is someone with information, but who will not give it in a straightforward, honest fashion, and the five of wands represents more games and lies. Wands would also point east. I keep hoping to hear that she is found alive, but the Moon reversed really worries me.

What Happened To Christina Whittaker?

Christina Whittaker was last seen in Missouri on November 13, 2009. Police found no evidence of foul play at the time, but she is still missing. Friends and family insist that Christina would never leave her child, so I am going to see what the Tarot has to say. This begins with the Devil, which is a card of bondage and speaks to an opportunity for bad things to happen. It is crossed by the King of Wands. I would expect him to be a man who has his path in life established already, and he may be a father. Somehow, he was involved in Christina's life. Beneaeth this, we have the five of wands, which is a card of games and often, of deceit. The perpetrator may have posed as a volunteer in efforts to find Christina. In the past, but before Christina disappeared, we have the three of swords, reversed, telling us that someone felt "wronged" somehow, and wanted revenge! Could Christina have been stalked? Following up this idea, the moon, reversed appears. This card does, indeed, tell us that Christina had a secret enemy. The moon reversed often refers to deceptions and lies. Next, the two of cups appears, reversed. This speaks to a broken partnership, often romantic. Did Christina have an obcessed admirer? It is beginning to look that way.

The seven of swords comes up reversed in the place of fears, and when this card appears reversed, it means competence and ability, and I believe this means that the perpetrator has already found an attorney. The Wheel of Fortune comes up in the place of environment, actually backing up the idea that the perpetrator has legal counsel.......he "feels very lucky". The next card is Temperance, in the place of hopes. In a perversed way, someone is hoping that things will remain "tempered", and that the boat will not be rocked. The last card is the two of swords. Right now, things are stalemated in terms of finding Christina.

A lot of sword cards came up here, pointing us east as a possible location. But then, we also have a reversed cups card, and cups and water represent west. It's possible that Christina is "seven" to the east, but water somehow brought her closer to where she was. I do not think she is very far from home.

Dylan Redwine Update

As promised, here is an update to the last reading I posted on this blog, which was about Dylan Redwine, who disappeared on either November 18 or November 19 while visiting his father in Colorado.

Three cards I drew for the past are the seven of pentacles, the five of pentacles, reversed, and the four of swords, also reversed. Earth and air are reperesented, here; the seven of pentacles has to do with working for something, but on more mundane levels, digging. The five of pentacles reversed speaks to renewed relationships. Perhaps this was the sincere part of the whole plan between Dylan and his father. But then we run into the four of swords, reversed. This card, when upright, speaks of matters that are at rest, or dormant. Reversed, it tells us that something that was dormant has been awakened.

For the present, I drew the ten of wands, reversed, the eight of wands, and the nine of cups. We have moved from earth and air to fire and water. When reversed, the ten of wands warns of lost lawsuits, separation, lies, and duplicity. So we have those things as possible motivation for Dylan's disappearance. The eight of wands speaks of impulse and infatuation, providing even more in the way of motive. And then we have the nine of cups. Somewhere, near or at a favored camping or picnicing spot of family member, either Dylan or critical clues can be found. Yes, water somehow played a role.

In the future, we have the Empress, or the mother, awaiting Dylan's return. We also have the seven of wands, reversed, telling us that Dylan is not in a safe place; this card also cautions her against any indecision or hesitance to take action in order to find him. The last card is the five of swords, reversed. This was done as a personal, angry, vengeful statement, but the person who did it will not get away with it. I am sensing a lot of urgency, on Dylan's part, to solve this quickly. I hope that means that he can be found safe, but at this point, I am worried.

Dylan Redwine

Dylan Redwine, of Colorado, was last seen a week ago, at his father's home near Durango, Colorado. He was supposed to visit his father for the Thanksgiving holiday. There is now a search in progress for him. My question is, what happened to Dylan, and where is he?

We start with the ten of cups, reversed, crossed by the four of wands. This gives a message of unhappiness in the home, crossed by some sort of happy event, or haven. Beneath this, we have the hierophant, who represents tradition. This could either be a minister, counselor, priest or mentor of some sort, whose guidance had helped Dylan in the past. Or it could be an institution representing tradition, such as a church or a school that had a positive effect on Dylan. Either way, it was something Dylan wanted back. Also in the past, we have the Page of Wands, which is usually a message of some kind, but in this reading, I think it represents Dylan. I also think something he had tried to tell others in his situation was not properly heard. The next card, in the place of things that have not yet come to pass, is the Empress, which is the "mother" card in the Tarot. She is also the very best result here, and the very best person for Dylan right now. The next card, in the place of things that either will happen or are happening, is Judgement, reversed, which tells of separation and fear. Sometimes it even speaks of fear of death. There is something outside of Dylan's control right now, separating him from where he wants to be, and from where he is safe. I do not believe he ran away.

In the place of fears, we find this reinforced by the two of wands, reversed, telling us of betrayals, fear, domination, and the fear of being overpowered. In the place of environment, we find the Moon, which, in this reading, speaks of things hidden or disguised, and of deception. Wherever Dylan is, he is hidden, and I think water is somehow part of the picture. For a direction, this card points us west. The eight of cups, reversed, is in the place of Dylan's hopes; this tells me that if Dylan could reverse the choice he made that got him into this situation, he would do so. And then we have the Page of Swords, as the final outcome, as another young person who is watching everyone search. For good or for ill, this person knows where Dylan is, yet has not come forward. His numeric value is eleven, and his direction would be east. Swords occasionally tells us of cyber communications.

My sense of this is that Dylan is alive.......I sincerely hope I am right. I will keep praying for his safe return, and I will come back to this if he is not home within a few days.

Lisa Irwin Update

It's been awhile since I have updated my readings about Lisa Irwin, the Kansas City ten month old who disappeared either very late on October 3, 2011, or very early the following day. I went ahead and found a picture of her, but one thing to keep in mind is that children at that age change quickly as they grow, and if Lisa Irwin is still alive, she does not look like she does in this picture anymore.

My question for the Tarot is "why hasn't Lisa Irwin been found?" The first three cards, representing the past, are the King of Swords, the Knight of Cups, reversed, and the Queen of Pentacles, reversed. These are three adults, and it surprises me that no one has talked yet. The King of Swords is an adult male involved in law in some way or another, and the Knight of Cups reversed is a young man, less mature than the King, who is completely dishonest. Upright, he is a messenger who tells the truth, but reversed, this card almost always tells us that a liar is in the picture. Next, we have the Queen of Pentacles, reversed, and she is an emotional, irrational, selfish, not-so-nice, evil woman. These are the people who have helped cover this baby's whereabouts. The King here may not have helped on purpose, but he was either used by the two other individuals, or he accidently made the wrong choice about how to go about solving this case. I think he is a policeman.

The next three cards represent the present, and they are the Emporer, the Queen of Wands, and the six of swords, reversed. This is interesting: the Emporer is the card that tells of the "father" presence or the "father" influence, and I was, and still am, convinced that Lisa's father is the reversed Knight in the above paragraph. So who is this Emporer? Could the reversed Knight be ready to go straight on us, and start cooperating with law enforcement? It might be on the table, somehow. The Queen of Wands is a woman who somehow has an influence here, and she was not a part of the past, but is new on the scene, and new to the case. She is very determined to solve this case. Now; the next card bothers me, but is not a surprise; the six of swords reversed. Upright, this is a card of travel. Reversed, it means the opposite, which also means that Lisa has been in the same place for a very long time.

For the future, we have the three of cups, reversed, the four of swords, and Strength. The three of cups tells of a situation involving too much substance abuse, too much celebrating....excesses in general. So somehow, drinking and substance abuse continue to be an issue in keeping Lisa hidden vs. finding her. The next card is the four of swords, which is a card of rest, or dormancy. I think the message here is that the case has stalled for now, and is "dormant". Strength is the last card, and one of it's literal meanings has to do with trumping "carnal" inclinations, such as substance abuse. Something else that came to me is the picture on that card: a woman petting a tamed lion. I think it is possible that Lisa may be found one day by someone walking a dog, or chasing down a pet cat! Completely by accident!

My last question was "where is Lisa?", and I drew the Lovers, reversed. This card has to do with couples, choices, and water is also a symbol on this card. I think it is directing us to look at all three of those things. A couple who made a terrible choice, and water as part of the picture, somehow.

Joshua Davis

Some asked me to do a reading about a toddler named Joshua Davis, who disappeared from his home in Texas in February of 2011. No trace, no clues, and it has been almost a year and a half. I asked the Tarot what happened to Joshua and where he is.
The cards gave me the eight of swords, reversed, crossed by the Emperor as a basis. The eight of swords speaks of being trapped, often by matters relating to thought and word, rather than actual, physical imprisonment. This card is reversed here, and it seems to be telling us that someone was trapped, but is not trapped anymore. The Emperor crosses this. The Emperor is the "father" card in the deck, and he may very well represent Joshua's actual father. Sometimes the eight of swords represents being stuck or trapped in water, as a physical state, and this leads me to believe that perhaps Joshua's father rescued him from some water at some point immediately before he disappeared.

As a bit of background for this, the ace of cups, reversed, comes up. This card, when reversed, tells of deception, by way of making it look as if one is capable of great things when one is not, and it also tells of projects ruined shortly after they have been started. We also have the Magician in the background, and he is someone who actually does know what he is doing. The very best that could have been expected for Joshua is the Page of Cups, reversed, (this is the third negative reference to water, so far, in this reading) and this also augers miscarriages of everything from pregnancies to projects. Also sad, unfavorable messages and news. This is followed by Strength, which, in this case, means diplomacy and tact. Someone, quite likely the Magician, has advised the Emperor to remain diplomatic, yet not be terribly informative. This is not looking very good for young Joshua, yet it also does not look like deliberate violence. It looks like an accident involving water. Inasmuch as the Emporer is concerned, please remember that the Tarot cannot give me a name of a specific individual, so it is not possible for me to literally point fingers at anyone.

The five of pentacles is in the place of worries, and this relates directly to a fear that Joshua will, one day, be found. The place of environment give us the nine of cups, which, while being another cups/water card, is also a card of home and hearth. I do not think this little boy was ever very far from his home. And, because the nature of the nine of cups is all about home and home's comforts, it appears that family was on hand in the home at the time Joshua disappeared. In the place of hopes and fears, we have the nine of pentacles, reversed. There is some worry about finances involved in this picture, but it is possible that this is just a worry which has not materialized. As a final outcome, we have the King of Swords. His position here is interesting, because he does not match the rest of the reading, except that he ties in a bit with the reversed eight of swords. This king is often law enforcement or a lawyer or judge. As he is upside right, I really think he is interested in seeking justice for Joshua, and I also think he is concerned with whatever incident is represented by the eight of swords. More power to him.

It looks to me as if an accident involving water is responsible for this child's disappearance, and it also looks as if someone in the judicial system is still interested in getting to the truth.

What Will It Take To Find Sierra Lamar

Sierra Lamar has been missing over three months. While there has been an arrest, and law enforcement seems certain that a case against the defendant, Antolin Torres, can proceed, and Sierra's twitter and facebook accounts have both been hacked, there has still been no indication of where Sierra actually was hidden. There have been several requests over the past few weeks for an updated reading for Sierra's case, and I have held off, feeling that the questions are still very much the same as when this started, and that there wasn't really anything new that divination could tell us, but in the presence of hackers who apparently know, have, or have guessed Sierra's passwords to her accounts, and who have given law enforcement false information, (I need a big frowny-face for this) I think there's a new reason to ask questions. So...giving this one more shot, my question is, are the police on the right track with suspect and location for Sierra?

The first three cards tell us about things that are in the past. These cards are the three of cups, the eight of pentacles, and the five of pentacles, reversed. The three of cups speaks of firndships and small celebrations and get-togethers.....but it can also tell us of an ending. Cups also relate to the element of water. The eight of pentacles is the card of the apprentice, and refers to workplaces. The five of pentacles reversed represents novel, and often illicit companionship. Looking at this, it would seem that the suspect may have first noticed Sierra at his job, and that he took an unhealthy interest in her. It looks, I repeat, LOOKS, as if the police are right on the money in their suspicions, with the exception of their statement that whoever took Sierra was not aquainted with her. So far, from this reading, we are being told that Sierra actually did at least know who the perpetrator is, even if she did not know him well.

The next three cards describe the present. They are the Knight of Wands, the six of wands, reversed, and the Tower, reversed. The Knight here is a man who is looking for Sierra. He is between the ages of twenty and forty-five. He may actually solve the case, somehow. A problem for him is the six of wands, reversed, which is delay and fear of an enemy who will "win". This card also relates to news, and because it is reversed, I think it is fair to say that the news being investigated is bad. That brings us to another problem for the Knight of Wands......he is a person who does not enjoy interpreting or delivering bad news, and he would love to have some good news, or at least some definate answers, to deliver. We also have the Tower, which is a card of destruction and ruin. A whole way of life can be changed when we see this card. Reversed, it means the same, but to a lesser degree, and with an added element of imprisonment. I cannot forget that the suspect is in jail right now, refusing to testify, so it looks, I repeat, LOOKS, as if the police are on the right track.

For the future, we get these three cards: the seven of cups, reversed; the Page of Swords, and the Devil, reversed. It is good to see the seven of cups reversed here. Upright, this card means that there are too many ideas and leads to investigate, and that the facts would be hard to nail down, but reversed, it means that investigators are finally narrowing down the clues into a framework that can be followed. Also, there's that "cups" and "water" symbolism again. The Page of Sword is often a troublemaker or a "spy", but here, I think this is someone who testifies, for whatever reason, and actually assists in finding Sierra. Once again, it really looks like more than one person knows where Sierra is. The Devil, reversed, is not only the male energy behind this crime, but a vacillation between resolution and indecision. It looks like law enforcement knows who the Page of Swords is, and is waiting for him to talk, and it also looks like water, may, indeed, be part of the mystery of location for Sierra.

The playful atmosphere described by the three of cups, and the methodical searching described by the reversed seven of cups makes me feel that the answer to whether or not law enforcement is on the right track concerning is searches is "yes".  I hope they succeed in finding her soon.
