Amy Bradley

Amy Bradley, of Virginia, disappeared without a trace during a cruise in March of 1998. Her picture is on the left; it is requested that if anyone knows anything about her case, please call the FBI, or the nearest American Consulate. Over the years, several people have reported sightings, but nothing has ever come of it. So what happened to Amy Bradley? We start with the five of swords, a card of anger and revenge, reversed, crossed by the Queen of Pentacles. Okay....now we know that some element of this is personal. This Queen is a woman of financial creativity and independence, but there is conflict, and this has something to do with Amy's disappearnce. We go into some background and find the five of cups, denoting a recent loss relating to this queen and Amy, but it was on a personal, or friendship level, not necessarily financial. The Knight if Wands factors in here, too. He is a young man, in his twenties, with lots of energy and attraction. At one point, he took center stage, inasmuch as amy was concerned. The Star appears in the place of things that were expected; optimism and spiritual support. Also, this is a "water" reference, as in reflections of stars and lights upon water.

Next, we see the nine of cups, reversed. It refers to events on the ship itself, and it is also an imperfection that existed in the plan of the person who knows what happened to Amy. This is when Amy went from being onboard to not being onboard. It seems likely, via the five of cups and the reversed nine of cups, that she disappeared between the hours of 5AM and 9AM. Once again, the whole thing was personal, and had to do with friendship and emotions. Cups are water and feelings. The next card, in the place of fears, was the two of cups, reversed. This card is a little more telling, showing a fear of a broken partnership or friendship. Also, with the cups, we still have our water symbolism. Next we find the four of wands, which is a card of familial celebration and familial relationships.......this aspect somehow enters the scenario. This is followed by the reversed eight of swords representing the fears and sometime desires of the person who knows Amy's situation. It speaks of a desire to be free of something. The last card is the Empress, reversed. There is a pseudo-motherly influence here.....and very perverse, feminine "imprint" upon this whole situation. This is the person who can tell us why Amy disappeared.
