Jessica Ridgeway

Jessica Ridgeway disappeared this past Friday. She never got on the bus to go to school, and was not seen by any of her schoolmates Friday morning. She disappeared from Westminster, Colorado, and the number to call is anyone sees her is 303-658-4336.

This reading starts with the King of Pentacles, reversed, crossed by the Hanged Man. There is a man who uses money and material resources to manipulate others in this picture. And he has everything in Jessica's situation connected to himself at a standstill. The ace of wands, a new beginning, is the part of the background that made Jessica's disappearance advantageous for him. Also in the background is the Tower, suggesting an overthrow of a comfortable lifestyle and possible bankruptcy. As a strong possibility, we get the Page of Pentacles, reversed. This augers unfavorable news about Jessica, but nothing that has been stated or heard yet. As an event that will take place, the two of cups, reversed appears. This foretells a divorce or the breakup of a relationship, and somehow, Jessica has become a casaulty of it.

In the place of fears, we have the seven of pentacles, reversed. I strongly believe that this is a fear of the perpetrator; and that he is worried about losing everything that he, personally, has worked for. In the place of environment, we have the Emperor, reversed, lending, once again, a masculine influence in this. The Emperor is the "father" card when he is upright, reversed, he speaks to an immature, irresponsible male influence. In the place of hopes, we have the nine of cups, reversed. There is a chance that overindulgence in alcohol or drugs will cause this man to make the mistake that will get him caught. The final outcome is the Sun, which is an excellent card, reassuring us that at this moment, things can be worked out to the satisfaction of everyone concerned. So I would cautously venture Jessica should be found safely. Cautously.....I do not like the reversed two of cups or the reversed Page of Pentacles. The two of cups, because the card deals with separations; and the reversed page, because he deals in bad news.

For a direction to start searching, I would be inclined to look "one" to the north, and then "two" to the east. Cups generally point west, but the two of cups is reversed, so it seems prudent to interpret this as east, since misleading and deception are already part of the picture. Perhaps "one" state, then "two" states.  I will follow this up a few days, if Jessica is not found.

Kelly Bordeaux

Kelly Bordeaux is a Fort Bragg soldier who disappeared on April 14 of this year. The other day, someone asked me if I would do a reading about her, so here it is. In answer to the question, "what happened to Kelly Bordeaux", this is what I got. The Emperor, reversed crossed by the Queen of Swords begins the reading. The Emperor is an adult male who either has or had a responsiblity to care for children or set an example for them and shirked it. Somehow, this aspect of his character became part of the circumstances of Kelly's disappearance. The Queen of Swords is a woman whose life revolves around thinking and work, rather than homemaking and children. These are two people who are involved in what happened to Kelly. Founding this, we have Temperance. This merely tells me that Kelly had the ability to adapt well, and would fit in well wherever she was stationed. The is followed by the seven of pentacles, reversed. Some project, related to her work, had either failed or taken to long to complete. This is also, somehow, a reference to time.......seven months........but I am not picking up a clear picture concerning why this is important.

There is a very strong chance that someone involved in this situation will face bankruptcy, or serious financial loss, indicated by the four of pentacles reversed in the place of things that could happen but have not......yet. Something that will happen is the six of wands, which I think, is news that actually tells us something tangible.

Another person involved here is the Knight of Pentacles, reversed. He appears in the place of fears, and he is the one most directly connected to Kelly's disappearance. He is a young man, close to Kelly's age, possibly a couple of years older. His general environment is described by the Hanged Man, which is reality and circumstances suspended. Keeping this secret has been difficult for him. In his hopes falls the Sun. This is a great card to have in a reading, as it augers success in any projects,  but here it is only a hope. The final outcome, representing the reason for his involvement in Kelly's disappearnace, is the six of pentacles, reversed. He apparently felt cheated somehow. This was related to money and material resources; possibly to a promotion or distinction in the workplace.

A possible location here would be the six of wands, which would tell us "six" to the south, as south is the direction represented by wands. Also, I think the Hanged Man carries a double meaning here. I think Kelly has been in the same place for a long time. Sadly, I do not see the ups and downs of a living person indicated by this reading, although I would love to be wrong about this. The activity outlined by the reading is all on the parts of the people involved in this crime.

Skylar Neese

Skylar Neese was reported missing by her parents in West Virginia on July 7 of this year. It has been over nine weeks since she disappeared. The question put to the cards is what happened to Skylar, and where is she? This reading starts with the Moon crossed by the four of cups, which is deception entangled with malcontent. There has already been a coverup in this girl's case. In a case like this, the Moon can tell of secret enemies. Below this, we have the two of swords, reversed. Skylar was already dealing with someone she knew she should have avoided. Following this up, we get the Page of Swords, which indicates spying or planning. Someone had either stalked Skylar or planned to take her somewhere. Next, we have the Knight of Pentacles. As a person, he is a man between the ages of nineteen and fortyone or so, and as an event, it refers to something that was planned. It's position in the reading indicates that more will be revealed, but rather slowly. As a location, it takes us north, to plowed fields. The number associated with it is twelve. The Moon's direction is west........possibly a northwest direction figures into this picture. Another card that came up is the Hermit, reversed. Reversed, this card tells of an adult male who acts like a teenager and refuses to grow up. Almost a perpetual Peter Pan.

In the place of fears, we have the Fool. The Fool is a card of choices; and while Skylar had all of the information she needed to make the proper choice here, she hesitated.....as the card appeared upright as a fear. Her considerations at the time are represented by the nine of cups. This is a card physical well-being and health. Next, in hopes or fears, we have the Emperor, which is the "father card" of the Tarot. This also refers to male domination. The final card is the two of wands, reversed. Relating this card back to the two of swords, which came up in the reading reversed earlier, it appears that a disagreement ended in Skylar being dominated by an older male. The two of wands could also be a resort or a large estate.

Could Lyric Cook and Elizabeth Collins Still Be Alive?

Someone recently asked me to do a reading about Lyric Cook and Elizabeth Collins, who have both been missing from Iowa since July of this year. I have explained in the past that life and death are sometimes different things spiritually, and since I believe in reincarnation, it's possible for me to get a "yes" answer even if the person I am asking about has died! But sometimes, there are clues in a reading that can lead me to believe that a missing person will, indeed, resume life as the same person with the same identity assumed before he or she went missing, and I will do a reading for these two girls, looking for such clues.

The first three cards, representing the past, are the ten of cups, reversed; the Devil, reversed; and the five of cups, reversed. This already does not look hopeful, because of the ten of cups falling reversed. This indicates betrayal, very likely by a family member(s). I do not like to see family members betray children. The Devil, when he falls reversed, sometimes tells us that we can become free of something that has bound us or hindered us, but he also speaks of indecision in this position. I believe that is the case here. Someone simply was not thinking clearly regarding the disappearance these two girls, or had not thought the whole plan through. The five of cups reversed does speak to the possibiltity that the girls may come back.....this is one of the clues to which I referred in the above pargraph concerning life or death. The card, when reversed, also tells of old friends coming back into the picture, so perhaps someone who has known the family and the girls for a long time has information or can help.

The cards I drew for the present are the Lovers; the Queen of Swords; and the ten of wands, reversed. The Lovers usually speaks of relationships, but sometimes of choices. At this time, the fate of these two girls is in the hands of a couple, and one other person, the Queen of Swords. She is the one influencing the couple involved. Once again, we get betrayal, in the form of the ten of wands upside down, but this time, the betrayal is a little more coutroom based, somehow; and a little less family based. Judging from this, I feel safe guessing that these girls have seen or discovered something that others did not want made public. Someone felt that the best way to protect this knowledge was to hide the girls.

The future brings us Justice, the eight of wands, and Strength, reversed. That message is quite simple. There will be justice, no one is going to get out of any legal difficulty by hiding Lyric and Elizabeth. The eight of wands promises that somehow, in an almost unexpected and surprising way, the girls will be found. Strength reversed warns of abuse of power, though. That is a bit worrisome; however, there is nothing to indicate that the girls are no longer with us, unless the theme of betrayal runs deeper than I initially thought. This reading does focus on the motive for hiding Lyric and Elizabeth. Whoever has them hidden was already hiding some secrets from law enforcement and the judicial system.

Arrest In Lisa Irwin Case?

Some recently asked me to do a reading about whether or not there would be an arrest in the case of missing Lisa Irwin, who was reported missing from her Kansas City, Missouri home on Oct. 4, 2011. Lisa was ten months old at that time, she would be almost two years ol now. There have been no arrests, and the only solid clue in this case was a hit by a cadaver dog in the bedroom of the home where she went missing.

This begins with the Devil, crossed by the seven of cups. This is domination of matter over spirit, and it is crossed by too many different directions and vague stories. Someone has deliberately shifted the focus away from actually finding Lisa from the very beginning. For background, we get the four of cups, reversed, which is good news, as an answer to this question. It means that someone involved in the investigation is willing to take a new approach. Matters moving into the past here are represented by the six of pentacles, reversed, which speaks to dishonest dealings involving money, and money gotton through very questionable means. The six of wands appears as something that can happen, and this card refers to good news. It can also mean finding something that has been lost. Unfortunately, an element that is already very much a part of this situation is Justice, reversed. Not only has someone involved lied, but right now, the investigation is off balence. It seems there the effort to find Lisa has evaporated into an effort to prosecute one person, and ignore the accomplices and accomplices after the fact.

In the place of fears, we have the ace of wands. The ace of wands here represents Lisa being found, and the good news of justice being carried out, and we find it as a fear, so I am going to assume that this represents the mindset of the perpetrator. The next card, representing environment, is Death, reversed. Nothing has changed for Lisa. She has been in the same place for quite some time. As a hope, we have Strength. This tells us that the perpetrator is going to hold out as long as he/she can. And as a final outcome, we have the Page of Swords, reversed. This can be a person, possibly a "snitch", who is waiting for his or her own convenience to come forward, or it can be an unforseen event that is not favorable to the whoever last saw Lisa Irwin alive.

Sadly, I do not see an arrest in this reading anytime soon. The tarot is notorius for not giving the best time frames, but as the six of wands did appear as a possibility, perhaps about six months. Hopefully sooner....maybe six weeks.

Timmothy Pitzen Update

I had a request for an update for missing Timmothy Pitzen, who went missing in May of last year, after an impromtu road trip with his mother, who was later found deceased in a hotel room in Illinois. I will do an update, and focus on where Timmothy might be now.

In the past, we have the nine of cups reversed. This speaks of a plan that somehow went wrong. We are also given Judgement, reversed, which reminds us that there was no renewal in the past.....Timmothy was not found. The Knight of Wands is also there. His relationship to Timmothy and the situation are not clear, but he is, nonetheless, part of the picture. This would be a young, impulsive man, under the age of fortyfive.

In the present, we have the four of wands, reversed, which bears a similar message of imperfect plans, but making the best of things. As a physical place, this card would tell me of places one would use bridges to get to, is there a place near where Timmothy and his mother were last seen that might have a "four" in it's name, such as "Fourstate", "Four Corners", "Four Rivers", ect.? Or "Four Bridges"  Next, is the three of pentacles, which is a card of doing a job for wages, or of skill and craftsmanship. Following this, we have the Hermit, reversed. It appears that someone has actually put some work and effort into keeping investigators from searching in the right places to find Timmothy.

The King of Pentacles is in the future. This is an older man, who may have dark brown hair and dark eyes. He is also somehow involved. He has resources, and he may live in an agricultural area. With his involvement, things concerning Timmothy suddeny become active again, which we see with the four of swords, reversed. Upright, the four of swords speaks to dormancy, reversed, it tells of renewed activity. The final card is the six of swords, which is a card of travel. So travel will be involved. The four of swords also speaks to social unrest, and I honestly believe that the message here is that this little boy will not be found as long as no one is actively searching. Social unrest; that is the element that is needed in order to revive the search before it is too late to find him, and keeping the matter dormant is how the perpetrator has kept this child missing for over a year.

Holly Bobo

Someone asked me for a reading about Holly Bobo, who disappeared from Tennessee in April of 2011. She was reportedly last seen in some woods, near her home. I will ask what happened, and where she now.

This reading starts with the Fool, a card of great opportunity and sometimes rash risk taking, crossed by the seven of wands, a card of guarding one's possesions or home, or of keeping what one has won. So we have opportunity and possession as factors. The ten of pentacles, reversed, is at the base of this as a possible cause for Holly's disappearance, so we should look for someone who had lost an inheritance or a large amount of unearned, yet expected money over a situation involving Holly. The Knight of Cups is in the past; he is a young adult male, possibly fair complected and blond, who also plays a role in this, somehow. As he is upright, I am going to assume that he is kindly disposed toward Holly and means her no harm. As the best possible outcome, we have the Devil, reversed, which means that the very best thing for Holly is to get free. This is a hopeful sign....it may be telling us that it is POSSIBLE that she may yet come back. As something that will happen, or is happeneing now, we have the Hermit, reversed, which means that either no real searching is taking place right now, or that anyone who is searching for Holly is searching in the wrong place.

The Queen of Wands, reversed, is a jealous adult female who does not want Holly found. Her relationship to Holly and involvement in Holly's life is not clear. The five of cups, reversed, is in the enivronment, which is another message that Holly might come back. One of the archaic meanings of this card when reversed is: return of an old friend. A hope and an expectation is the eight of pentacles, which is the card of the apprentice. Holly was training to be a nurse, perhaps this is what Holly still intends to do. It may also tell us to look among Holly's classmates or workmates for clues. The final oitcome is the Lovers. Sometimes, this card can mean an important choice must be made, but here, I think that along with that, the choice was about romance.

Workmates, classmates, lovers. I will hope for the best.

What happened to Elizabeth Collins and Lyric Cook?

A week ago, an eight year old girl and an eleven year old girl, Elizabeth Collins and Lyric Cook, disappeared in Iowa. Their bicycles were found last Friday afternoon beside Lake Meyer, but no sign of the girls. Their missing persons poster is to the left, along with a phone number for anyone with information to call. Here's the reading: the beginning is the two of swords, crossed by the Fool. This looks like a planned event that needed an opportunity in order to happen. It also tells of a temporary truce in a family disagreement. Beneath this, we have the King of Swords. This is often law enforcement or a lawyer or a judge, yet here we have him cast as someone who was ALREADY INVOLVED with this family. So it is aready beginning to look like the disappearance had something to do with a pending legal decision. Drifting into the past, yet knowing something about the present, we also have the reversed Page Of Swords. This is a youngish character, who is very likely still a child, who knew something that should have been told to authorities but did not do so when the time was right. The chariot appears as the best thing that can happen here. This is not only a card of vehicles and ways to go places, but it is a card of balence. The charioteer must balence the forces of two horses that want to go two different directions if any progress is to be made. The Queen of Wands is someone who will come into the future of this investigation. She is a woman with a lot of energy and a creative thinker. She may have blond or red hair, and is impulsive. She is also determined to find Elizabeth and Lyric.

Temperance comes up as an immediate problem for the surrounding issues. When this card comes up as a "problem", it usually indicates drug abuse or alcohol abuse. Sometimes, it means lack of balence, or that componants of the situation are very delicately balenced. The tower comes up to describe the environment of the girls. From this, I can extrapolate that whoever was responsible for these girls knew better than to expose them to whoever or whatever made them disappear. The Tower tells of ruin after refusing to make appropriate changes. It is associated with imprisonment, legal losses, and bad karma. As a location, it would indicate a building in desperate need of repair, ruined by the elements. The six of wands is hoped for good news. While this may yet be possible, the ace of pentacles reversed has the final say, and this is about money. Judging from this reading, it looks as if there were corrupt people involved with this family, and one or both girls either knew something or saw something that made someone else nervous about matters judicial, and these two girls became casualties. Lets hope they are found very soon.

Afterthought: Look for someone who had or has a good chance of going to jail without moving these two girls out of the way.

Skelton Brothers

Not too long ago, I got a request to do a reading for the three Skelton brother, Andrew, Alexander, and Tanner, who were not returned to their mother in Morenci, Michigan, after a visit with their father. Their father is in jail, and he refuses to discuss his sons' whereabouts with anyone. They disappeared over Thanksgiving of 2010. My question to the cards was "what happened to the Skelton Brothers, and where are they?"

The first two cards are the World, crossed by Death. This is rather ominous. They began what was supposed to be an exciting trip, and, in one of the rare incidents of actual death chronicles by the Tarot, apparantly died. I truly hope I have interpreted this incorrectly, but I don't think I have. For some background, we have been given the four of pentacles, reversed, which tells us that material losses, due to mistakes and extravagances on the part of the person experiencing the losses, played a role in this sad situation. The five of swords, reversed, tells us about deceit and a violent revenge of some sort. The best we can expect to find is the Knight of Pentacles, reversed. I think this speaks of an event, rather than a person in this reading, and I think we are being told that the boys will be found, very eventually, near or in a field that is not used anymore.....upright, this card is associated with plowed fields, since it came reversed, I am interpreting it as overgrown and unused fields. The Emporer is the next card, and as this is the "father" card, and the boys were with their father when they disappeared, I think the answers lie with the father.

In the mind of the person who did this, it was a way to express anger and keep a quarrel going. The three of swords tells us this. This was done to punish a former lover, the three boys were only collateral. We have the six of cups, which speaks of children, child friendships, and the past, telling us that these three boys were the most convenient way for the perpetrator to hurt the lover he so wanted to punish. The four of cups, reversed, in the place of hopes or fears, speaks of new relationships, and as it is a hope or fear, but not a reality, I think the perpetrator had a real problem with an ex moving on, to a new relationship. The reading ends with the Empress, or the "mother" card. So we have a picture of a father who wanted a relationship with a mother, and did not get what he wanted, and three boys used as pawns. How very sad.

Note: The six of cups appeared in the place of environment, and it may also have been telling us a little about location. Cups are water, which points us west, and the message may be "six to the west" of the father's home.

Michaela "Mickey" Shunick

On May 19, a twenty-two year old woman named Michaela, or "Mickey" Shunick was riding her bicycle home from a friend's house in the very early morning in Lafeyette, La., after celebrating her birthday. That was when she was last seen. I was hoping to hear she was found, but, sadly; only her bicycle was found, in the Atchafalaya River. I will do a reading, and see what the cards have to say.

The question I asked is "What happened to Mickey Shunick?" The cards began with the four of pentacles, reversed, crossed by temperance. This gives me a picture of someone who is suffering from material setbacks, and Temperance is the card that tell us why this person would be suffering from material setbacks: drug or alcohol abuse. So we should look for someone who abuses drugs or alcohol, and may be on probation for same. Beneath this, we see the five of pentacles. This not only discusses what the perpetrator's situation was/is, it gives us a possible location of a church or a place where people who are lonely or desperate gather. It also speaks to a possibility of romance gone wrong, which leads to the next card, telling us of a female influence in this: the High Priestess, reversed. Water is connected to the High Priestess as a location, and as a person in the past, I think she has a lot more to do with whoever made Mickey disappear than with Mickey. So far, this looks like a case of a rejected male, nursing his bruised and not-too-sober ego by taking out his sexual/romantic/relationship frustrations on an innocent victim. He is represented by the Knight of Pentacles, reversed. This is a careless type of guy, in his mid twenties or early thirties, (in this person's case, he could be as old as mid forties, yet still as emotionally immature as a younger man) who does not get along well with people and therefore has never made anything of himself. He is followed by the King of Swords, and as this King falls upright, I think it is safe to assume that he is part of law enforcement, and already has some good leads on finding Mickey. He is also looking across at the reversed High Priestess, so he may have reason to believe the water may hold the best clues.

In the place of secrets, we have the eight of wands, reversed. This is jealousy. A domestic dispute that did not have anything to do with Mickey had something to do with her disappearance. In the place of environment, Death, reversed, comes up. Mickey has, sadly, been in the same place ever since May 19. Since Death is reversed, I think there will be some delays in finding Mickey. As a location, this card would point north, and indicate open fields, and, since the horse is white, perhaps the vehicle involved in this was white. That is only a guess on my part, though. The King of Pentacles, reversed, appears as yet another male, either older or more accomplished than the first one, (both males here may have dark complexions and dark hair) who has a reason to believe that the Knight of Pentacles may have been involved in this. He has not come forward and spoken to law enforcement yet, but the perpetrator is worried that he might. A stalemate, the two of swords, has this case locked up and at a standstill right now. The element relating to swords is air, and as air rules oral and written words, testimony, and information, the message of this reading is that we need testimony from the King of Pentacles in order to completely solve this case.  The King of Swords is very good at his job, however; and I think he is on the right track in his water searches to find Mickey Shunick.

Caleigh Harrison

Caleigh Harrison disappeared from Rockport Beach in Massachusetts on Friday, April 19. Her mother said she turned her back for just a minute, and never saw her daughter again. The search has been called off, and no one has found this little girl. In the past several days, Caleigh's four year old sister has spoken of a man she didn't know, and stating that he took Caleigh, but she did not mention this immediately after the incident. So we will see what the cards have to say.

We start with the seven of swords, reversed. Upright, this is a card of theft, and taking what does not belong to one, but reversed, it is quite the opposite. This crossed by Temperance. Temperance is associated with water, and we know that Caleigh disappeared at the beach. Temperance also signifies good combinations and compatibility, and as it crosses the message of good council and keeping what belongs to one, I find myself wondering if this child was truly kidnapped. The seven of wands, reversed, comes up in the background. Upright, this card would tell us that someone was either guarding a sercret or a place, and playing strategically with information, but reversed, it is telling us that the proper searches have taken place, and that the appropriate warrents have been served. The Knight of pentacles reversed is attempting to fade into the background. The search has stalled, with no results. He is also a lazy, rather dishonest male presence.

Strength appears as the best that can come from this, and I think this card is urging everyone involved not to give up just yet. This card is followed by the King of Swords. This king is often a police officer, lawyer, or judge. I am going to guess that he is law enforcement, since I see him looking at the reversed Knight of Pentacles for clues. In the place of secrets, the Knight of Swords appears. He is also law enforement, but with a more aggresive manner that the King. A serious problem that needs to be overcome is the seven of cups, (this is the third seven in this reading) and this is illusions and possible deception. Too many different ideas have been presented, and possibilities have not been efficiently narrowed down. Another problem is the Queen of Cups, reversed. This is a dishonest, twisted person who does not have Caleigh's best interest at heart. Her relationship to Caleigh is not clear, however. The last card is the eight of wands, reversed. Finding this little girl is going be be very hard, step by step, routine detective work, There will be no "miracles" per se. Two people, a male and a female, know where Caleigh is, and have not told the truth.

The seven of cups is also a bit of a description of where Caleigh is likely to be found. She has not traveled too far from the beach from which she disappeared, perhaps "seven" to the west. I strongly suspect that she is disguised, somehow. Perhaps some pictures of how she would look dressed as a boy, or with a hat covering her hair, could be circulated.

Devon Davis

Just on Tuesday, two year old Devon Davis disappeared from his parents' new home in Liberty County,  Texas. He is now the subject of an Amber Alert. I find the Amber Alert curious, as I have not been able to find any description of a vehicle that may have been involved, so I did a reading. I should add, earlier, I pulled just one card, asking for some sort of direction about this matter, and it was the Empress, reversed. The Empress is the ultimate mother/wife, and reversed, she represents a woman who either has not, or cannot, master those ideals. I already do not like the direction.

For the basis, or the cross, the Queen of Swords is crossed by the King of Swords. An intelligent woman and an intelligent man together provided a home for Devon. They are both somewhat better educated that others in the area where Devon went missing, and both may have had careers before moving to Texas. This is founded by the three of swords, which represents thinking over feeling, often at the expense of things that one or more parties in a disagreement hold dear. I am going to conclude, for now, that one or both of them had misgivings about moving to Texas from Virginia, and that they had clashed over it. The next card, describing that which is moving into the past, is the eight of wands. This is a great card for infatuation, and for finding things that are fun, but it tells us of things that simply happen too fast, and of too much excitement. There was too much "good stress", along with bad, for someone involved. The five of pentacles, reversed, appears in the place of things that can happen, but have not happened yet. This can mean the return of a loved one or a friend, and I would like to hope it means the return of Devon. It can also tell us of lovers not having a place to meet. I hope that was not an issue with the move to Texas. The card of things that will happen is the ace of wands, reversed. This tells us that there will be setbacks in finding little Devon.

The card that falls in the place of Devon's feelings and the feelings of those closest to him is the five of cups, reversed. Upright, it means regret and loss, but reversed, it means hope, and once again, the return of a friend or loved one. I will take that as a good sign. I hope this is a hope fulfilled by Devon coming home unharmed. The next card, in the place of surroundings and family, is the Emporer, reversed. Like the Empress, he is the perfect parent or spouse, but reversed, he is the negative aspect; the person who has the responsibility but not the ability. Somehow, he figures into this, just like his counterpart, the reversed Empress does. The ten of wands is in the place of hopes, (in this case, I would day the Emporer's) and this means that he wants to conclude this whole matter, solved or not. In the final outcome, we have a new character, the Queen of Cups. She is intuitive, caring, and as she appears upright, kindly disposed toward Devon and very serious about finding him.

More thoughts on this reading: the reversed ace of wands in the place of things that will come......it could refer to a key time of day, such as 1:00 in the afternoon, (wands are fire, and the Sun is also connected to fire symbolism) and it could also mean that the move from Virginia was a false start. There are also more adults with active parts in this matter than any of the reports I have read about this. I also do not see a vehicle playing a major role here. The reference to Swords in the beginning of the reading could also be telling us to look East, as that is Air's, and Swords's direction. But I think it is telling us to look at specific people who are either from an eastward direction or in an eastward direction. If Devon is not found soon, I will try to follow this up with more specific questions.

Update: This little guy was found today, March 31, in a lake. He appears to have drowned. No one knows how he got to the lake yet. Rest in peace, Devon.

Sierra Lamar

Sierra Lamar disappeared, instead of boarding the bus to go to school, one day last week. Her cell phone was found yesterday in a nearby field, but no Sierra. Her scent, and known whereabouts, go cold at the end of her driveway, where she should have gotton on the bus. I will see what the cards can tell me.

The Celtic Cross begins with the Devil, reversed, crossed by the nine of swords. The Devil represents masculine energy, and masculine entrapment of some sort, and the nine of wands represents apprehension and fear. I think this young lady may have had a stalker, or someone openly making threats, and I think the situation worried her. At the base, we have the three of wands, reversed. Someone had clearly brushed off any reasons to take precautions, and had told her not to worry. Upright, this card tells of people working together on new projects; this time, I think it tells of people not listening and paying attention when they should. The King of Pentacles is in the recent past. He is an older, dark complected man who cares about Sierra. The card telling of his future involvement is the seven of pentacles, which is hard work followed by reward. He will do anything it takes to find Sierra. A possibility is Strength, reversed. Already, the investigation has been mildly derailed, somehow. A clue has been left in the wrong place, and has sent searchers in the wrong direction.

The King of cups, reversed, in the place of Sierra's fears. This is an older male who is not honest, and possibly uses or sells illegal drugs. Temperance is in the place of Sierra's environment, telling us that Sierra has every intention of helping in the cause of getting herself found. The Star is in the place of her hopes. She will be open to any creative idea that she thinks will work in order to become free. Another male is in the picture, the Knight of Swords, reversed. He is violent, and time is of the essence. I am hoping that the King of Pentacles will find an incentive that will speak to him. I will follow this up in a couple of days if Sierra is not found.

More impressions: This was not in the reading, but just something I sense: Sierra's phone was thrown away about twenty miles away from where she actually is right now. I think she has heard at least one broadcast featuring her mother's pleas for her return. I also do not think she is very far from home. The location where the cell phone was tossed was deliberately chosen to throw off investigators and delay finding Sierra.

Tarot Reading For Samantha Koenig

Samantha Koenig, eighteen, of Alaska was last seen on February 1. Surveillance from her job at a coffee shop shows her exiting the building with a male stranger, and beyond that, no one knows her whereabouts. Her missing persons poster and picture are posted below, and I will see what I can find out from the Tarot. Here is the most recent report.

The reading starts with the eight of swords, reversed, crossed by the five of swords. Already, this does not look encouraging. The eight of swords is a card of either being or feeling trapped. Reversed, it is the opposite, becoming "untrapped", or disentangled. But in Samantha's case, it is crossed by the five of swords, a card of revenge and violence, so it looks like she did not want to remain "trapped", or captive, fought, and lost. The five of swords is someone inflicting violence at her. This ios founded by the four of pentacles, which tells us she was holding onto something material, either money or a resource. In the very recent past, we have the Magician, who is a man who knows what he is doing and in this case, how to get what he wants from Samantha. The next card, crowning this matter, gives me some hope that Samantha might yet be found alive. It is the four of cups, reversed, and it means that Samantha should be looking for any oppotunity she can to contact her family. In Taoism, four is a number that represents family, and so far, two "fours" have come up in this reading. I think the four of pentacles and the reserve it represents was Samantha protecting either someone in her family, or someone she regards as family. The four of cups represents the best thing that can happen today, which is Samantha reuniting with her family. Next, we have the King of cups, who is soon to enter the situation. He is an older man who is kindly disposed toward Samantha and will try to find her.

In the place of fears we have the seven of cups, which is a vivid imagination, but not much reality. Someone connected to this has some unrealistic expectations about this. For environment, the ten of swords appears, which worries me a bit. The ten of swords sometimes indicates violence, and always indicates an end to something.......generally not a pleasant end. The Star is reversed in the place of hopes, which shows a lot of pessimism on the part of someone who knows where to find Samantha. This, too, worries me. The reading ends with the four of swords.......the third "four" in this reading. This four is a card of rest, and I hope Samantha can be found after the dust from her disappearance settles.
