Myra Alissia Freeman

Myra Alissia Freeman was taking out the trash one evening at her home in Alabama, where she lives with her parents. She is seventeen years old, and the back story, along with the sheriff's contact information, is on the poster. But what happened, and where is she?

The basis is the seven of wands, reversed, crossed by Temperance. The seven of wands usually refers to something left unguarded when it falls reversed, and it speaks to loss, and the embarrassment that follows loss; as if one should have known better. Temperance shows good combinations and management. Beneath this, we have the eight of pentacles, reversed. The eight of pentacles is the card of the apprentice, but as Alissia was only seventeen, we can probably safely assume that this refers to schooling. As it falls reversed, it shows stresses, or problems, in that area. So we are given school stresses as a backdrop.

Following this, but still in the recent past, we have the four of wands, reversed. This is completed harvest and the chance to relax after hard work, and that is what it means in either the reversed or upright position. Reversed sometimes suggests that while things are not perfect, things are still pretty good. A possible outcome is the seven of pentacles, reversed, which I do not like. The seven of pentacles is the reaping of the fruits of one's labor when it falls upside right, but in reversal, it means the opposite: wasted efforts with no reward. This is a suggestion that Alissia may not be found immediately. The next card, in the near future, is Death. While the card can foretell a death, it is much more common for this card to tell us about a major change in someone's life, or in a situation. So far, I have not seen any violence in this reading that would have caused a death.

In the place of fears, we have the four of pentacles, which is a fear of waste, or a fear of not having enough money. I am actually happy to see this card in this position, as it relates to things that are on Alissia's mind. The next card is the Page of Swords, reversed. This page is in the place of environment, and is a young person who probably knows exactly where Alissia can be found. As the card has come up reversed, it suggests spying and lying, which is how this young person helped Alissia disappear. In the place of hopes, we have the Empress. This is the "mother" card of the Tarot, and as she appears upside right, we can assume that the mother in the situation, Alissia's mother, is her ally, here. This is also something that is on Alissia's mind. The final card is Justice, reversed, which worries me a bit. When Justice falls reversed in a reading, it usually warns that an authoritative decision somewhere along the line will be made, and it will impede progress. This could mean several things. First, it could be telling us that the police will determine that Alissia "ran away", and since she is seventeen, they will not realize that runaways are in just as much danger as kidnapping victims, and close her case. Or it could warn us that someone with whom Alissia is spending time could become paranoid or unjust in some way, and harm Alissia...or it could mean that law enforcement simply looks in all the wrong places and does not have any solid leads. I hate to see this card reversed as a final outcome.

As for location, Death would point us north. The item on the card that caught my eye is his flag, bearing the white, mystic rose. Could Alissia have ended up in a place that has "rose" in it's name? The four of pentacles also points us north, but the card is reversed, so perhaps things are stalled. The Page of Swords would use east as a direction, but he is also reversed, but the transformation of Death clearly shows that Alissia has traveled enough to dramatically change her situation. It appears, by this reading, that while she is in danger, it is not too late for rescue. I hope she is found soon.

What Happened To Robyn Pettinato?

Robyn Pettinato was last seen on July 5, 1975, in Whitefish, Montana. She was fourteen years old. Her family, reportedly, was very quiet about the subject after searches and investigations turned up nothing, so lets see what the cards can tell us.

We begin with Strength, reversed, crossed by the Queen of Wands. When Strength falls reversed, it usually tells a tale of abused authority. The Queen of Wands appears here as a strict, overbearing woman with a temper and a vicious streak. This is founded by a bad choice, described by the Fool, reversed. The Moon also appears in the background of this situation, telling us that secrets were kept from law enforcement by people who actually gave statements, but chose to omit key information. The Knight of Pentacles shows up in the realm of un-materialized possibilities; could he have been a love interest of Robyn's? Perhaps the subject of Robyn's encounter with "abused authority"? At the time, he was a young man between the ages of eighteen and twenty-two, or so.

The next card is the five of pentacles, reversed. This card is telling us that those involved in Robyn's situation did everything in their power to get the case closed and move on, without finding Robyn. It's almost as if someone in the picture has known Robyn's whereabouts all along. In the place of fears, we find the four of swords, reversed, which shows a perpetual fear of movement and activity in the case........what is desired is the situation described by this card in it's upright position: dormancy. Next, we have the four of pentacles, reversed. This describes obstacles and delays of some sort; were there obstacles in closing the case or in declaring Robyn dead? Another sidebar meaning of this card has to do with hoarding, but I cannot imagine what role hoarding would play here. The message is that someone waited and waited for a final decision about something until it was too late, and something was "hoarded" or clung to, until it could not be let go. The Knight of Wands appears as a gesture, or an appearance. It may have been speculated or rumored that Robyn left town with such a person, but if so, it was only rumor. This would not fit with the abuse we see in the beginning of the reading. It would fit with the deception that is described by the Moon. And the last card is the Empress. This card describes femininity and motherhood. Somehow, this was a factor in Robyn's disappearance. We are not told in the case history if Robyn was pregnant, but it seems that this idea may have had a bearing. It also appears that we are being told that Robyn was never far from home, as both of the cards with values of four appear in positions that often describe physical surroundings. Four is a Taoist number for family, and the fourth zodiacal house is the house of the "home", as in family. Sadly, I would not be surprised to find that the answers to Robyn's case can be found very close to home.

Dorothy Scofield

Twelve year old Dorothy Scofield disappeared in Florida on July 22, 1976, while her mother was at DMV, taking a drivers' test. Dorothy went to a department store and had agreed to meet her mother later, but never made it. That was the last time she was seen; it has been almost thirty-nine years.

This reading starts with the two of swords, reversed, crossed by Justice. I already do not like it. The two of swords often comes up reversed when something that was well enough left alone is suddenly active again, but moving in an unproductive direction. It may mean that Dorothy's mother initially was not in favor of Dorothy going by to the store by herself, but agreed to it against her better judgement. For this to be crossed by Justice.....well.....it shows challenges to finding Dorothy, at best.

The Wheel of Fortune shows up to describe the event wherein Dorothy disappeared. It was, indeed, a random event; Dorothy had not been stalked, but the situation was an unexpected opportunity for the perpetrator. Also, I think a vehicle was involved; it looks as if someone offered Dorothy a ride somewhere, a`la the reference to a "wheel", and it seemed opportune to her, as well. The next description we get here is the four of cups, reversed. Dorothy had never met this person; when the four of cups appears reversed, speaks of relationships and chance meetings with people, but new people. So this places Dorothy with a stranger.

Now we get some information about the stranger. The three of pentacles comes up reversed, to show us that this person either does not have a skill, or does not have a job, or both. So we know that whoever this it, it is someone who is not gainfully employed. And the next card describing him (yes....I believe it WAS a male) is the Page of Wands, reversed. This is a young person who never seems to contribute much in the way of anything positive, and he may have gotten some bad news, as well, that day.

The crime itself is represented by the eight of cups, reversed, which is the spiritual abandoned for the physical, in this case, sexual perversion. It is followed by the three of swords, reversed. In a reading, the three of swords in this position often means that one of the subjects of the reading was personally compromised by another subject in the reading. In this case, I think Dorothy was able to describe her attacker, and he did not want to be identified. This card often refers to custodial interference, as well. So we can see that he had no intentions of allowing Dorothy to go back to her mother. The next card tells us more about the perpetrator as time went on......he went from being the reversed Page of Wands to being the reversed Knight of Wands. He became a man who never seems to have stable relationships and likes to argue and fight. He may have reddish or light brown hair and be of fair complexion. Although he should be in his late fifties or possibly early sixties now, he is still represented by a knight, rather than a king, because he failed to "grow up". The last card here is the Fool, reversed. This refers to the unsolved case, suggesting that several key choices made were in error.

There do not appear to be many hints about location in this reading, but I will take a stab at it. There are two "three" value cards, yet they are reversed. One is pentacles, which points us north, and one is swords, which points us east. But they are both reversed! It would appear that the kidnapper switched locations for some reason, and still did not travel very far with Dorothy, possibly "three" to the north, then three to the east. Also, the three of swords comes up in the place of environment, and this card suggests exposure to the elements and to storms, so I would look for Dorothy to be outside. The combination of the upside down Knight of Wands and the upside down Fool is the biggest problem, though. There either was, or is, an opportunity to question the perpetrator, and that opportunity has somehow been overlooked.

Will There Be Answers About The Lyon Sisters?

There are now two persons of interest named in the case of the Lyon sisters, who disappeared in Maryland in 1975. There was a massive search in Bedford County, Virginia, and the grand jury is deliberating about charges. The question is, will we find answers through these developments?

We start with the five of pentacles, which speaks of destitution and loneliness. This describes where the girls actually are. It is crossed by the World, which is triumph and achievement. While the desolation of the five of pentacles is not good news, it is rather expected after all these years. The World is a good sign, although investigators are still working at finding answers. The Star appears as a foundation for the recent search......a reliable tip was received. It was followed by the three of swords, which tells us a little more about the tip. There is an element of infighting between involved parties here; someone either heard a secret he or she did not want to keep, or someone divulged information out of malice toward another party. Either way, there was discord involved. The ten of cups appears as a possibility, which means that this lead may, indeed, finally bring the Lyon sisters home.

The Knight of Pentacles appears as a young to middle aged man who is searching for the girls. He is moving slowly, not only in physical searches through rural places which must be physically dug up, or unearthed, (earth is represented by pentacles) but through information and paperwork, as well. Answers will come slowly, but he is not going to give up.

The six of swords appears as a motivating factor, in some way. It is a fear of travel, or movement, on one person's part. Location, location........if it were a location, it would be a body of water big enough for a boat and deep enough for travel. The five of cups follows, as someone's unshared knowledge. It also has to do with disappointment over an inheritance, or frustration because a reward or payment was not as large as expected. Most Tarot decks show the five cups near a stream or a river. The five of swords follows this, in the place of hopes. This is clearly revenge, which, once again, gives credence to the idea introduced by the three of swords that came up earlier, showing some infighting among parties. The five of swords in the place of desires clearly details revenge. The last card here is the one true problem with finding answers through this investigation; it is the Page of Swords, reversed. Here we have someone who has shared information, but with ulterior motives, and who has not really shared ALL the information he or she knows. Hopefully, the Knight of Pentacles will persevere, and yes, it looks as if we may get answers through these proceedings.

Madison Michelle Scharff

Madison Michelle Scharff has been missing from Emporia, Kansas since January 25.  she is sixteen years old, and the police have catagorized this as a runaway case. So I will do a basic Celtic Cross reading, asking about the situation, and the significant details that may hep to answer the the questions of why she disappeared, and where she went.

The basis we have is the five of pentacles, reversed, crossed by the Fool. Often, when the five of pentacles falls reversed, it tells of new romantic interests, and of lovers who do not have a place to meet. And this is crossed by the Fool, the card of brand new opportunities! I think we can safely guess that Maddy may have had a love interest. This is founded by the Queen of Cups, reversed. This is a woman who has been a rather bad influence of Maddy, and encouraged her to make choices that bring her into conflict with others in her life. To make matters more confusing for this poor girl, there is also the reversed Queen of Pentacles in the recent past of this situation, and this is a moody woman who is not always willing to share her time or resources, yet wants Maddy to fulfil various obligations. Inasmuch as Maddy is concerned, things are not always fair.

The two of pentacles crowns this, giving the option of communication at some future point, but the information given at Maddy's end will not be as complete as those who are looking for her would like. The seven of cups appears as an event in the near future, and this represents an influx to way too many choices or ideas that are not well thought out.

The Knight of Cups, reversed, appears in the place of causes for Maddy's disappearance, and as a possible player here. As he falls reversed, he is ultimately not a positive factor. A court card is the suit of cups is usaully a person who lies, and as cups corrospond to water, emotions, and affairs of the heart, one of the things about which this Knight may be dishonest is romantic intent. The Empress appears reversed in the place of home, and home environment, and indicates a relationship with a maternal figure, or the mother, which is strained and not terribly positive. The seven of swords in the place of hopes and fears tells us that the relationship indicated where the Empress appeared has brought on fears of being "too hard", or "more than someone can handle". As a final outcome, we get the four of cups, which is discontent. Hopefully, all parties will be able to find a compromise, and Madison Michelle Scharff can be listed as "found safe".

Amy Bradley

Amy Bradley, of Virginia, disappeared without a trace during a cruise in March of 1998. Her picture is on the left; it is requested that if anyone knows anything about her case, please call the FBI, or the nearest American Consulate. Over the years, several people have reported sightings, but nothing has ever come of it. So what happened to Amy Bradley? We start with the five of swords, a card of anger and revenge, reversed, crossed by the Queen of Pentacles. Okay....now we know that some element of this is personal. This Queen is a woman of financial creativity and independence, but there is conflict, and this has something to do with Amy's disappearnce. We go into some background and find the five of cups, denoting a recent loss relating to this queen and Amy, but it was on a personal, or friendship level, not necessarily financial. The Knight if Wands factors in here, too. He is a young man, in his twenties, with lots of energy and attraction. At one point, he took center stage, inasmuch as amy was concerned. The Star appears in the place of things that were expected; optimism and spiritual support. Also, this is a "water" reference, as in reflections of stars and lights upon water.

Next, we see the nine of cups, reversed. It refers to events on the ship itself, and it is also an imperfection that existed in the plan of the person who knows what happened to Amy. This is when Amy went from being onboard to not being onboard. It seems likely, via the five of cups and the reversed nine of cups, that she disappeared between the hours of 5AM and 9AM. Once again, the whole thing was personal, and had to do with friendship and emotions. Cups are water and feelings. The next card, in the place of fears, was the two of cups, reversed. This card is a little more telling, showing a fear of a broken partnership or friendship. Also, with the cups, we still have our water symbolism. Next we find the four of wands, which is a card of familial celebration and familial relationships.......this aspect somehow enters the scenario. This is followed by the reversed eight of swords representing the fears and sometime desires of the person who knows Amy's situation. It speaks of a desire to be free of something. The last card is the Empress, reversed. There is a pseudo-motherly influence here.....and very perverse, feminine "imprint" upon this whole situation. This is the person who can tell us why Amy disappeared.

The Lyon Sisters

Katherine and Sheila Lyons, ten and twelve years old, disappeared in 1975, in Maryland, at Wheaton Plaza. There was massive media coverage, and everywhere that could possibly be searched was searched; every lead was investigated....yet no trace of the girls was ever found.

So....what happened to them and where are they? The reading starts with the two of pentacles crossed by the six of pentacles. This almost screams material resources. The two is about maintaining balence amid change, and sometimes about communication, and the six is about reaping what is sown or collecting and paying what is owed. It is hard to imagine chilren as young as Katherine and Sheila Lyon experiencing circumstances containing these elements! Beneath this, we have the eight of swords, reversed, which in this position, tells us that restrictions that had been in place were eased immediately before the girls disappeared and contributed to the situation in one way or another. It's possible that this represents the parents allowing the girls to shop by themselves at Wheaton Plaza. Behind this, we also have the ace of wands, which is the opportunity that was created for the perpetrator. He (and it WAS a "he") had no difficulty getting the girls to listen to him and leave the plaza with him. The next card we find is the six of swords, which is a card of travel, and I think the message therein is clear. The girls were taken somewhere else. This was done with relative ease, and the next card we have describes the person who did it; the King of Pentacles, reversed. He is a man who is dishonest about money, associated with white collar crime and, oftentimes, other crime, and is often a gambler.

The ten of swords comes up reversed in the place of fears, which represents the sad fear both girls had of never seeing their family again. In the place of environment, we have the nine of swords, telling of worry, imprisonment, and possibly, death. This is followed by the four of swords, reversed, which, when falling in this position, is a card of hoping for an opportunity to act or run, but which, sadly, never materialized. The last card here is the two of swords, which is the stalemate that this case has become. I find it interesting that six cards from the suit of swords came up in this reading, and that two cards with a value of two, and two cards with a value of six came up. Swords represents violence, and east......for instance, the nine of swords in the place of environment could simply mean "nine to the east". It could also mean an awareness of death or danger, or it could mean both. The pentacles that appeared in the reading point not only to monetary matters as a possible motive, but possibly to political matters.....I do not think the perpetrator was linked by familial connection here, but possibly by business dealings with one or both of the girls' parents. The two of swords is often a truce of sorts, sometimes between family members. It's appearance has me wondering if contact, unreported to the media, was made by the perpetrator in the way of a threat to the girls; and if that might be the reason they were never found. The only card that is not a sword or a pentacle is the ace of wands, which was the opportunity. It seems to me that not all of the statements of witnesses were properly investigated, and that not all of those who knew both girls were investigated, either. Someday, I think the whole secret will unravel because of a statement offered by an accomplice or an accessory after the fact, and I think the person's attorney will urge him or her to do it. This may have already happened, and it may be up to cold case investigators to re-examine statements and evidence and put it all together.

Colton Ross Barrera

Colton Ross Barrera disappeared from Kansas on September 26, 2008. He was supposed to call a friend for a ride home from skating, but never did. His disappearance was initially thought to be on his own accord, as if he ran away, but his family never thought so. Four years is a long time, if he ran away, so I am going to ask the Tarot what happened. The reading starts with the World, reversed, crossed by the Fool. This is an unusual message: lack of opportunity crossed by opportunity! Or, perhaps, lack of means for a spur of the moment opportunity.  Beneath this, we  have the eight of swords, which is a card of bondage and trivial details. Much time has already been wasted on things that have not panned out, but this, we already know. Also in the past, we have the Page of Wands, who is a young person who can actually tell us something pertinent, if we listen. He or she may be blond, and have a fair complexion. Usually, this card represents someone who is a child, but as four years have passed, this person is likely to be a young adult now. Testimony from this person will very likely contradict past testimony from other sources or possibly his or her own past testimony, as the five of wands, reversed, comes up in the realm of possibilities. Something that will happen is the four of cups, which is a sort of emotional dissatisfaction with the status quo of the case. As a direction, this card would point slightly to the west. Also, for location, grassy areas near a creek or small creek bed. I am also getting a picture of a bored young man who was not happy with things just as they were, but wanting excitement.

In the place of fears, we have the ten of cups, reversed, heralding loss of friendship and betrayal, but how deep did this betrayal go, and what did it entail? Often, this card speaks of family relationships. In the home environment, we have the Empress, the "mother" in the Tarot, and as she is upright, she is favorably disposed toward Colton. This is followed by the Knight of Swords, reversed, which is a card of violence. I also think that this Knight represents someone in Colton's acquaintance, with whom Colton did not see eye to eye. This would be a young man, with brown or darkish hair, and blue or hazel eyes. This is also the indicator in this reading that Colton met with foul play, rather than running away from home. The last card on the staff is Judgment, reversed. This card speaks to a fear of things "never changing", and sometimes, a fear of death.

Closer analysis of this reading leads me to wonder if there was a fight over a girl that went further than it was intended to go, or if all the witnesses or potential witnesses have been questioned properly. I do not believe that Colton ran away from home.

Dylan Redwine

Dylan Redwine, of Colorado, was last seen a week ago, at his father's home near Durango, Colorado. He was supposed to visit his father for the Thanksgiving holiday. There is now a search in progress for him. My question is, what happened to Dylan, and where is he?

We start with the ten of cups, reversed, crossed by the four of wands. This gives a message of unhappiness in the home, crossed by some sort of happy event, or haven. Beneath this, we have the hierophant, who represents tradition. This could either be a minister, counselor, priest or mentor of some sort, whose guidance had helped Dylan in the past. Or it could be an institution representing tradition, such as a church or a school that had a positive effect on Dylan. Either way, it was something Dylan wanted back. Also in the past, we have the Page of Wands, which is usually a message of some kind, but in this reading, I think it represents Dylan. I also think something he had tried to tell others in his situation was not properly heard. The next card, in the place of things that have not yet come to pass, is the Empress, which is the "mother" card in the Tarot. She is also the very best result here, and the very best person for Dylan right now. The next card, in the place of things that either will happen or are happening, is Judgement, reversed, which tells of separation and fear. Sometimes it even speaks of fear of death. There is something outside of Dylan's control right now, separating him from where he wants to be, and from where he is safe. I do not believe he ran away.

In the place of fears, we find this reinforced by the two of wands, reversed, telling us of betrayals, fear, domination, and the fear of being overpowered. In the place of environment, we find the Moon, which, in this reading, speaks of things hidden or disguised, and of deception. Wherever Dylan is, he is hidden, and I think water is somehow part of the picture. For a direction, this card points us west. The eight of cups, reversed, is in the place of Dylan's hopes; this tells me that if Dylan could reverse the choice he made that got him into this situation, he would do so. And then we have the Page of Swords, as the final outcome, as another young person who is watching everyone search. For good or for ill, this person knows where Dylan is, yet has not come forward. His numeric value is eleven, and his direction would be east. Swords occasionally tells us of cyber communications.

My sense of this is that Dylan is alive.......I sincerely hope I am right. I will keep praying for his safe return, and I will come back to this if he is not home within a few days.

Skylar Neese

Skylar Neese was reported missing by her parents in West Virginia on July 7 of this year. It has been over nine weeks since she disappeared. The question put to the cards is what happened to Skylar, and where is she? This reading starts with the Moon crossed by the four of cups, which is deception entangled with malcontent. There has already been a coverup in this girl's case. In a case like this, the Moon can tell of secret enemies. Below this, we have the two of swords, reversed. Skylar was already dealing with someone she knew she should have avoided. Following this up, we get the Page of Swords, which indicates spying or planning. Someone had either stalked Skylar or planned to take her somewhere. Next, we have the Knight of Pentacles. As a person, he is a man between the ages of nineteen and fortyone or so, and as an event, it refers to something that was planned. It's position in the reading indicates that more will be revealed, but rather slowly. As a location, it takes us north, to plowed fields. The number associated with it is twelve. The Moon's direction is west........possibly a northwest direction figures into this picture. Another card that came up is the Hermit, reversed. Reversed, this card tells of an adult male who acts like a teenager and refuses to grow up. Almost a perpetual Peter Pan.

In the place of fears, we have the Fool. The Fool is a card of choices; and while Skylar had all of the information she needed to make the proper choice here, she hesitated.....as the card appeared upright as a fear. Her considerations at the time are represented by the nine of cups. This is a card physical well-being and health. Next, in hopes or fears, we have the Emperor, which is the "father card" of the Tarot. This also refers to male domination. The final card is the two of wands, reversed. Relating this card back to the two of swords, which came up in the reading reversed earlier, it appears that a disagreement ended in Skylar being dominated by an older male. The two of wands could also be a resort or a large estate.

Will There Be An Arrest In The Ayla Reynolds Case?

Someone asked me for an update in the Ayla Reynolds case, specifically, if there would be an arrest any time in the near future. Ayla Reynolds disappeared from her home in Waterville, Maine on December 16, 2011. She was twenty months old.

Will there be an arrest in Ayla Reynold's case? The reading details that in the past, there was an event that was almost completely lucky for the perpetrator. This is the Wheel of Fortune. It was pure chance that gave this person the opportunity to make Ayla disappear in the first place. The next card is the ten of swords, which is violence. Often, this card describes fatal violence. After this, we have the High Priestess, reversed, telling us of assistance from a female. The High Priestess also speaks of secrecy, and reversed, this screams "accomplice". In addition to being dishonest, this woman is shallow and predictable, however; which may help the investigation.

For the present, we have the Sun. I believe that this is a clue to where Ayla can be found. She is outside, somewhere that either gets a certain amount of sun, or the name "Sun" is part of a place name nearby. I still think she is on private property somewhere. Following this we have the six of swords, reversed. While Ayla has not moved, neither has the investigation. Temperance is the next card describing the present. Temperance describes the proper handling of physical evidence and asking questions at the appropriate time.

In the future, we have the four of pentacles, reversed, telling us that someone may just "let go" of this child's remains at an opportune moment. Upright, this card means hoarding, but reversed, it is quite the opposite. Following this, we have the seven of swords, reversed. This tells us that everything will be done in secret, and the perpetrator stands a reasonably good chance of getting away with it. Death reversed is the last card. Ultimately, hiding what has happened will not be completely possible, as Death, when it falls reversed, is a card of stagnation. In order for an arrest, it will be necessary to watch the suspects closely. They still have some evidence to either destroy or discard.
