Kelsie Jean Schelling

What happened to Kelsie Jean Schelling, and where is she? It has been two years since she was last seen, in Pueblo, Colorado. She disappeared on February 4, 2013, and her car was found a week later.

The reading starts with the basis of the eight of swords, crossed by the Queen of Pentacles. This beginning already looks like the story of being trapped somewhere; the Queen here is a dark haired woman, possibly Kelsie, herself. The eight of swords is a card of forced inertia....inability to move in any direction. As a location, a run-off stream or drainage pond is suggested. I would expect to find a few buildings nearby, but not close enough to see the water clearly.

Beneath this, as a precursor of the action that led to this situation, we have the Page of Pentacles. Pages are sometimes messages, sometimes ideas, and sometimes young people. I think that the card is referring to the last phone call she made, or the last message she left, when she parked her car in Pueblo. Someone she knew was even anticipating her call. This is followed by the Emperor. The Emperor is the "father" card in the Tarot, and this is a person whose actions here were motivated by the energies associated with fatherhood. It is noted that Kelsie was about eight weeks pregnant at this time, so it is possible that the Page of Pentacles has a double meaning as a message/phone call and Kelsie's pregnancy. The next card is the two of swords, which is a stalemate. There was a disagreement over something, and no compromise was reached. And....I do not like what I see next; the ace of swords. Someone forced his will in the disagreement.

The staff appears to show us how the perpetrator thinks in this case. It starts with his fears; represented by Justice. This person is worried about justice. It's another card I do not like to see in
this position, because it's telling us that there is someone out there who is concerned about
getting "found out". The next card, describing this person's actions and surroundings, is the seven of swords, reversed. He made sure that he left no clues in any obvious place. The next card is the Page of Wands, reversed. This represents bad news, and it is in the place of fears, so it means that this person is deeply worried about the news that information has been discovered about Kelsie. And the last card is the Empress. This card often appears in a reading for a pregnant woman, or for a mother. The Emperor also appeared in this reading. I think we can safely assume that parental energies played a role in the dynamics. Also, instruction and possibly counsel are alternative meanings of the seven of swords when it falls reversed. In addition to a suggestion that the perpetrator has "lawyered up" already, it's quite possible that one other person, besides the perpetrator, knows what happened to Kelsie, and may have even assisted in some small way and left evidence behind. There is also a woman pushing very hard for Kelsie to be found, another double meaning here; this time, the Empress. Also, with the Empress, I am getting a picture of seeds and planting...perhaps that somehow becomes a factor in finding Kelsie. The strongest compass direction I see in this reading is east, suggested by the heavy presence of swords.  I wish the outlook had been more positive. I will keep Kelsie in my prayers.

Update On Sierra Lamar

There have been some updates on the case of missing Sierra Lamar, the high school student who disappeared in Morgan Hill, California, in 2012. Sierra has not been found, but some explanations have been published by the media concerning the defendant, Antolin Garcia-Torres, and the evidence against him. I have had a couple of requests lately for another reading on her. The biggest question in front of us concerns how and where can Sierra be found.

The three cards I drew for the past are the Queen of Swords, the four of wands, and the nine of cups. This is interesting, because the four of wands has come up for Sierra in previous readings for location. Also, the cards have hinted in previous readings that a woman connected to the perpetrator has more information than she has given. The four of wands is usually a depiction of a celebration or a party, and such elements appear somehow involved with location here, such as a park or a location where a wedding may have been held. I say "park" because I expect it to be an outdoor location, and I also think there may be a bridge and an older building, that may not be in current or continuous use nearby. This is followed by the nine of cups, The nine of cups encourages us not to give up; it is a card of success in it's own right. The success in this card is more emotional than monetary, however; it suggests that a tip or information from someone who cares about justice will help more than financial resources, here.

The next three cards, drawn for the present, are the Hanged Man, the ace of swords, and Justice. The Hanged Man is suspension and sacrifice. Garcia-Torres refuses to explain the evidence, and Sierra has not been found. Her location is in "suspense". The ace of swords represents a heroic new approach to this dilemma, and as it is followed by Justice, I believe the new approach has to do with the prosecution and their decision to proceed with the case using the evidence they have, despite the fact that Sierra is still missing. Either more cooperation from the defendant will be forthcoming, or another person with information will come forward. My fingers are crossed right now, but that is how this looks so far!

For the future, we have the two of wands, the four of cups, and the nine o wands. This is an interesting correlation to the beginning of this reading, which also gave us a "four" and a "nine" card to describe the situation's past events. The difference is that instead of the Queen of Swords, which tells of a female person, we see the two of wands, which tells of possible assistance or help from......another person. The four of cups is dissatisfaction with the status quo, and the nine of wands is lack of patience. So to put this together, it appears that pressure from the judicial system and some very lucky information from someone who does not mind helping can actually solve this case. I wish things could have gone more favorably for Sierra,

Kansas Jane Doe

This is a very sad story about an unsolved murder. A woman who has never been identified was found in 1987, and no one has come forward to claim or bury her. The poster to the right has the contact information, in case someone looking at this has direct knowledge concerning her case, and I will do a reading for her. We begin with the three of swords, reversed, crossed by the three of wands. This tells a story, already, of a subject (the identified woman) who compromised another person legally, and took some backlash and retaliation for it. Either she shred testimony against another person, or had her own lawsuit/divorce/custody case in progress against another person. So we know see a possible reason why this has happened. The three of wands is a card of efforts undertaken with help, and inn cases of criminal activity, accomplices. Whoever murdered her had at least one accomplice. This is founded by the two of swords, which tells us that the circumstances surrounding this case had been at a standstill for awhile, but had just become active, as seen via the three of swords. Next, as a past circumstance, we see the two of pentacles, reversed. This tells us that someone involved in these matters actually pretended to be friendly to this woman, with other intentions. It was a significant factor. The next card is the ace of swords, reversed. This is what the murderer was attempting to do: stop this woman's testimony and legal proceedings. Next, we have the eight of cups. This indicates that the perpetrator has successfully put this behind him, and has moved on in life. His efforts will always be to keep this incident forgotton.
At the base of the staff, in the place of feelings and circumstances concerning how this affects the perpetrator's fears, we see the Queen of Wands. This is another person who knows what happened. Expect her to be an adult woman with a quick temper and a somehwat impulsive nature. In the place of environment, we have the Knight of Swords, which is a card of violence, and sometimes of violent death. Here we have not only the violent murder, but also the perpetrator, who was a male between the ages of twenty-one and forty at the time this happened. The hopes of the murderer and his accomplices are described by the Page of Swords, which is basically to put down any further attempts to investigate this crime. And the final outcome is the four of wands, reversed, which points to family as possible suspects, and also tells us that whoever did this is still living, and feeling very much at home, somewhere near the area where this woman was found.

Question About Law Enforcement In Kyron Horman's Case

Yesterday, someone asked me a question about the police, and how the Kyron Horman case has been handled. Since I have not done a reading about this yet, I decided to do one, and post it online. It's a Celtic Cross, and the verbatim is, "what have the police not covered in Kyron Horman's case?"

The basis is the four of pentacles crossed by the seven of swords. The four of pentacles signifies hoarding resources instead of spending them, and the seven of swords tells me that this was more than the police were able to manage in the first place. So........that was easy; financial corners were cut early on, and it was handled in ways that were inexpert and gave an advantage to a thief or kidnapper.

The next two cards deal with things that happened close to the event (Kyron's disappearance) itself. Below, in the place of background, we have the Sun, which is a great card. It usually means excellent fortune. This makes me think that the crime could have been solved by now, if looked at......with LIGHT shining on it.......or under the SUN. (sounds weird, but somehow seemed like the thing to say at the time) Perhaps they (law enforcement) already have their answer. The next card, representing events or people moving into the past, is the two of wands. This is an endeavor which was started with help, in this case, an accomplice. I think an accomplice was able to slip away, unnoticed and unquestioned in this whole mess. To this day, no one may be looking at this person or his or her involvement.

The next card, the two of cups reversed, deals with an issue that is still having repercussions on the investigation; inability on the parts of two or more individuals to work together. I do not know if this is law enforcement or others involved in the search or in Kyron's life, but I do know that the lack of trust and breakdown of communication between these two entities has the potential to continue to harm Kyron's chances of being found. Something that WILL happen, is the Hermit. He is a little like Diogenes, looking for an honest man. He will leave no stone unturned, and I am happy to see him in the place of things that WILL happen, rather than things that COULD happen.

The staff begins with Strength in the place of environs, this tells me that law enforcement is still committed to finding Kyron. Eight is the number of that card; perhaps it is of some significance. I will have to think on that some more. The next card deals with public opinion, and it is the eight of pentacles reversed. Upright, this card is the card of the apprentice, gifted in his chosen field. Upside down, not so much! Apparently, my questioner, and others, have a low opinion of the skill and diligence of this police force! This is followed by the ten of wands in the place of desires, and this indicates that the community would like to see closure in this matter. The final outcome is the Fool. The Fool is a completely new idea, approach, or person. He can be an event or an individual, and upright, as this card appears, he is almost an answer to prayer! I believe law enforcement will finally get a valid tip that will help the Hermit, who appeared in the place of things to come, find Kyron and solve this case.

I realize that there are a couple of loose ends in the question, but this is what I have right now, along with a grey cat who wants to reshuffle my cards!
