Sidereal Chart For The Morning Of Kyron Horman's Disappearance

Kyron Horman disappeared on June 4, 2010 from his school, during a science fair. There have been massive searches for him, and much discussion and speculation over the past nine years, but Kyron has not been found. He was only seven years old when he was last seen. Many readings have been done for him, too; and I have done a few for him on this site. One thing that I have not done in the past is a forensic astrology event chart for Kyron. This year, I am reading the sidereal event chart for the place from which he disappeared, and I will progress the chart for three key times on June 4, 2010. This will give us two readings, instead of one. I will begin with 8:45 AM on June 4, when he was allegedly dropped off at school, with his science project for the science fair. After that, I will progress Portland's chart to 9:00 AM, which is when Kyron's stepmother states that she left the school. I will finish with a chart for 3:00 PM on the same day.  Sidereal astrology shows the planets as they would appear to the naked eye, when viewing the night sky, and it subtracts approximately twenty-four degrees from the tropical, or western horoscopes that are usually used in America. Also, while Vedic astrology does not take the outer, or generational, planets into account, it places much more emphasis on the north and south nodes, or eclipse points, of the moon. The North Node is called Rahu and the South Node is called Ketu; the head and tail of a mythical demonic beast. Since I have found sidereal astrology and Vedic astrology to be much more accurate, I will be using Vedic charts.

According to Kyron's family, his stepmother, Terri Moulton Horman, gave him a ride to school at 8:45 AM, and also took his eighteen month old sister, so I ran the first chart for 8:45 AM on June 4. The ascendant is 3:9 degrees Cancer. At that point, there are no new reports of missing persons in the entire area, and nothing is amiss. The South Node, called Ketu, represented by the tail of a demon named Rahu, is in Gemini, the twelfth house, along with Venus, so there is a certain amount of twelfth house energy to be noted. The twelfth house in a chart represents endings, secrets enemies, and death in some cases, and it was one of the first things I looked at. The South Node is the chart significator for the twelfth house, and because of its association in this chart with Mercury, who rules Gemini, I decided to use Mercury as a marker for Kyron. Mercury is in the chart's tenth house, Aries, at 27:18 degrees. Since Kyron was last seen with Terri Horman, I used the ascendant, Cancer, as significator for her activities that morning. Cancer is ruled by the Moon, and the Moon is 16:57 degrees Aquarius, and I used the Moon as a marker for Terri. Aquarius is also the eighth house for this chart, and eighth house significations include joint finances, joint accounts, and often death. The Moon can also show unexpected and unexplained actions and reactions. Also, the South Node carries its influence to the eighth house, occupied by the Moon, so I am comfortable using the Moon and Mercury as markers for Kyron and Terri. While the ascendant is in Cancer, it is barely in Cancer; it is still very close to Gemini, the twelfth house hosting two planets, so it appears that there are plans involving twelfth house matters, (death or secrets) but no action yet.

I will jump from here to the third house, which covers short journeys, written communications, and sometimes relatives....younger siblings in particular. Virgo is the third house, and it is occupied by Saturn, at 3:50 degrees. Saturn is the chart significator for the eighth and twelfth houses, which are already heavily represented in this chart, and that is where he carries his influence. Saturn rules places of solitude and spiritual detachment, (graveyards, anyone?) and he is disposited by Mercury, who rules Virgo. The Moon in this chart is disposited by Saturn, which could indicate an older man's involvement in the planning and/or transportation needed to carry out this whole plan. In addition to affecting the house opposite it, Saturn also aspects the third and tenth houses from it, as well. Here, we have Saturn in a loose opposition with Jupiter, which occupies the ninth house, of long distance travels and of education, and we also have him aspecting the seventh house, of partnerships, and the twelfth house. Saturn's effect is to slow things down, so here we see a possible agreement with one partner moving more slowly and more cautiously than the other. Saturn also casts his rays on the sixth house of this chart, which is occupied by Rahu, the North Node. It would appear that the kidnapper's plan did not go as originally planned, but still took place. There was definitely more than one person involved, here.

About that opposition between Jupiter and Saturn; this involved the third and ninth houses. Both of these houses are concerned with travel; short distances in the third house, long distances in the ninth house. We have a conflict between earth, particularly farmed or gardened earth with non-native fruit trees, (possibly fig trees) and large bodies of water. Jupiter also aspects the fifth, seventh, and ninth houses from where it sits. This means that Jupiter, with all of its expansive and accommodating influences has an effect on the ascendant, solidifying will and intentions. Moving to another place of influence, the seventh house from itself, Jupiter, once again, influences Saturn, the planet of delay. This was probably an inconvenience related to driving Kyron away from the school. Next, we have Jupiter affecting the ninth house from itself and the fifth house of the chart, Scorpio. Fifth house matters are creativity, love affairs, children, pleasure, and speculations. Scorpio is a rather dark place, symbolized by standing water and sometimes, negative emotions. Perhaps a compromise about location?

We have Mercury, the marker for Kyron, in the tenth house, of public life and government. I will take this to mean school, in Kyron's case. A side note about the tenth house is that it also represents fathers, and fatherhood.....more on that later. The tenth house is Aries, and Mercury affects the seventh house from itself, which is Libra. Libra is a sign of discernment, and I do not think Kyron would have willingly left the school with a stranger. Libra is also the fourth house of the chart, which brings home and family into the mix, and suggests that someone from Kyron's home was involved. It probably took some convincing and coaxing to get Kyron away from the school and the science fair, too. Mercury is disposited by the Sun, and we find the Sun in Taurus, the eleventh house of friends and organizations. This is where we will have the most reliable information and clues as to where Kyron was taken. Here, we once again encounter the symbolism of tilled earth and agriculture. Red deer and wagons are also featured, here. We had red as a unique color in Saturn's position, and we also have it in the Sun's position. The testimony of Kyron's school friends, teachers, and other employees of the school is key, here. Perhaps red or orange could be a school bus, or a bus driver may have key information. The Sun also brings its influence to the first, ninth, and tenth houses of a chart, so we have the Sun casting its effects on the ascendant, showing that there are witnesses who can help, on the seventh house of the chart, Capricorn, showing that there are accomplices, and on the tenth house from itself and the eighth house of the chart, Aquarius, occupied by the Moon, which is the marker for Kyron's stepmother, Terri Horman. No one should be surprised if an eyewitness identifies Terri as having been close enough to circumstances and evidence to have been involved.

Meanwhile, the Sun is disposited by Venus, who is in Gemini, the twelfth house of this chart, along with the South Node.Venus in the twelfth house is often sensual, in a perverse way, and she is coupled with the South Node here, who brings violent energies into the mix. There is also a vague lack of direction about procedures at the school on this day, which leads to loss. So the stage is set in Portland for a child to go missing on June 4.

At this point, I have progressed the chart just fifteen minutes, to 9:00 AM. Most the configurations have not changed significantly, but a couple have; notably the ascendant and the Moon. The ascendant has moved further into Cancer, and is no longer on the cusp of Gemini. This pushes the not-yet-materialized plan into a viable action. Earthy Saturn, in Virgo, becomes more active, while watery Jupiter cedes a bit. 9:00 can be nailed down as a key time. The Moon has moved to 17:05 Aquarius, and is opposite Leo, which is occupied by Mars at 4:39 degrees. Mars rules Aries, the tenth house of this chart, and as I stated earlier, I am getting back to the tenth house significance. One of the denizens of the tenth house is the father, and relationships with the father. Mercury, the marker for Kyron, is in the tenth house. Mars is a planet that often brings conflicts, and it isn't terribly friendly to the Moon, so I think it is fair to deduce that there is a certain amount of conflict between Terri and Kyron's father. Leo, where Mars is placed, is the second house in this chart, and symbolizes money, income, and possessions; so this gives us an idea of what the disappearance of a child at this time and place was really about.  Mars aspects the fourth, seventh, and eighth houses from itself. This means that in addition to opposing Aquarius, the eight house of the chart, Mars also casts rays on the fifth house of the chart, Scorpio, lending speculation without facts to the motive, and it casts an influence on Pisces, the eighth house from itself and the ninth house of the chart, where Jupiter waits. One of Jupiter's significations is a fatherly influence, so here we have another suggestion that a struggle with Kyron's father may have precipitated this.

In all of the tarot readings I have done for Kyron, none have conclusively indicated that Kyron was murdered. Here, we have a lot of eighth house and twelfth house activity, and both houses deal with death, so I am a bit uncomfortable and unhappy to see this. The marker for Terri being in the eighth house is disconcerting, and the South Node in the twelfth house is never a comforting thing in a reading for a missing person. The North Node is in the sixth house, in a loose opposition to Venus, also in the twelfth house, and the sixth house deals with inconveniences and health problems. This shows that Kyron was an "inconvenience" to a female family member, and possibly to others connected to her. The North Node, or Rahu, can give misleading philosophies when in Sagittarius, and its opposition to Venus shows an inability to compromise. Rahu in Sagittarius could show us key places in regard to this kidnapping, although judging from the rest of this chart, I would expect multiple crimes scenes, at least two. Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, who is in his other sign of rulership here, Pisces. This is another "father" reference.

Another factor that cannot be overlooked is how heavy this chart is in the element of fire; we have Mars in Leo, the second house, Rahu in Sagittarius, the sixth house, and Mercury in Aries, the tenth house. This gives a lot of importance to the second house pursuit of money and the sixth house inconveniences of day to day affairs, combined with tenth house status and public life....with the marker for Kyron being in the tenth house. Somehow, money, possessions, and inconvenience played a role here, along with concern about reputation. How does the element of fire play into this? Keeping in mind that both the eighth house and the twelfth houses are Aquarius and Gemini, air signs.... perhaps this is a reference to communication and evidence....as in "burner phones". Quite mundane, but possibly applicable. The eighth and twelfth houses also deal with secrets; Aquarius is where we find the Moon, so it literally "carries the water," along with the motive and intention; and Gemini is occupied by Ketu and Venus, suggesting that a woman has been keeping secrets in this matter for a long time. Also significant would be tears and sweat, and circles of flowers. Given the references in this chart, I would have to deduce that in the Portland area, two women were directly involved, and a man indirectly involved, in the disappearance of a local child on the morning of June 4, 2010. I will run another chart, progressed by a few hours, in a couple of days, in order to determine more of how events unfolded according to the first chart.

What Happened To Jodi Huisentruit?

On June 27, 1995, a twenty-seven year old News Anchor named Jodi Huisentruit disappeared in Mason City, Iowa. A few of her possessions and her bent car keys were found outside, near her car, but no trace of her, anywhere. She never made it to work that morning, and has now been missing for over twenty-three years, and I will see if the Tarot has any new suggestions. I have used a horoscope layout here, because that type of layout often gives bits and pieces of information that would otherwise go overlooked in cases such as this, wherein a person has been missing for a very long time.

The first house, describing the situation, itself, has given us Temperance, reversed. When this card falls reversed, it details conflicts and bad combinations of all kinds, and also competing interests. This shows us the general atmosphere, and perhaps the motive, of the person with whom Jodi had this encounter. There was a general feeling that Jodi had the upper hand, or some coveted advantage, that someone else had desired. Moving along to the second house, of material possessions and money, we find the ace of pentacles, reversed. This reinforces what we saw in the first house concerning competing interests: someone envied Jodi. The third house, of communication, relatives, and short journeys, gives us the Page of Pentacles. Here we have a possibility of a valid tip in the form of someone who is willing to go on the record and describe everything he or she noticed on the day Jodi disappeared. Putting the puzzle pieces together has been difficult, and I will come back to this card later, after I have interpreted cards in corresponding positions. I don't think this witness's information has been completely understood and correlated, yet. The Knight of Cups appears in the fourth house, which governs environment, particularly that of the home. Here, we have validity to the information offered by the Page of Pentacles, and we also see that Jodi is "not far from home". Cups also refer to water, and often point us west; but I still do not think that Jodi is far from either her home, or where she was last seen. This knight is also the person who will put together all the information in a relevant way, which will involve an understanding of emotional nuances. This crime was, somehow, quite personal.

The three of cups appears, reversed, in the fifth house, of pleasure, romance, entertainment, fun, and creativity. Sometimes children are indicated by this house, but as Jodi did not have children, we will focus on the other aspects of the fifth house. The reversed three of cups usually tells us about a relationship that went too far, too fast; or, simply, too much of something. It can sometimes point to success that did not pan out, or to an investment that did not pay off. Somehow, this dynamic played into Jodi's situation. Next, we find the eight of pentacles, reversed, in the sixth house of inconveniences, employment, mundane affairs, and co-workers and and employees. When we see the eight of pentacles reversed, we are seeing a situation involving lack of talent in one's profession, or the risk of losing employment. This does not describe Jodi, but it does describe someone around her. So far, this reading has described professional, and possibly romantic, jealousy as a motive to lash out at her.

We have the seven of cups, reversed, in the seventh house of partnerships and agreements. This house also signifies marriage, but it covers all types of partnerships. The seven of cups shows common sense and realistic goals when we find it reversed, and it shows that Jodi was interested in her career when she disappeared; and did not scatter her energy into empty pursuits. This bothered someone. It bothered someone so much that the Tower came up reversed in the eighth house of joint finances and shared expenses. The Tower, in reversal, tells of false imprisonment, false accusations, and oppression and the eighth house is also an indicator of death, so I really do not like this combination, here. This is the first confirmation that we may not find Jodi alive and well, and I always hope I am wrong about things like this. The ninth house, of justice, religious ideals, and long journeys; yields the two of wands, reversed. This refers to better forensic science than what was available in 1995, and it shows not only the challenges for the culprit, but for law enforcement. Witnesses tend to forget things over long periods of time, and sometimes cannot be found in cold cases. The culprit may also get a surprise when something as simple as a fingerprint or a some DNA that could not be correlated in 1995 suddenly becomes relevant, today. This case still faces a lot of challenges in order to become resolved. The Page in the third house represents information or a tip, and the ninth house represents the challenge in following up on the tip. Jodi was taken in different directions, somehow, and no one really had eyes on the person who took her, after she was last seen. Still, I do not think she was taken terribly far; between two and fifteen miles.

The tenth house, of career and public life, shows the Magician, reversed. This is abuse, abuse of power, sometimes abuse of authority, and the general use of skill for destruction. Here, we have yet another reference to Jodi's career! This is also another reference to the personal nature of the crime. It shows that Jodi was not a random victim, but chosen. In the eleventh house of hopes, wishes, ambitions, organizations , and friends, we find the Star. Jodi has a lot of friends and admirers who still want to see her found and want to see this case resolved. "Star" could also be a mundane reference to location, as could the word, "south". The Star also describes small bodies of water, such as lakes, where the stars can be seen reflected in the water. Once again, I do not think she was taken away from the general area. At the end, in the twelfth house, we have the two of swords, reversed. The twelfth house concerns secret enemies, self undoing, and often, death. This card shows a new moon, and there was, indeed, a new moon between June 27 and June 28 of 1995, so I think the twelfth house correlation here is that Jodi died shortly after she was abducted. The person responsible thought he could keep his actions undetected and secret forever, but the reversed two of swords also indicates sudden movement in matters that were once stalemated, so there is hope of new information leading to Jodi.
