Phoenix Coldon

Phoenix Coldon, twenty-three, disappeared in St. Louis, Missouri, in December of 2011. Disappointingly, there has not been a lot of media coverage for her, so I will do a reading.

Immediately, I see a conflict of sorts between an older man with a fatherly interest in Phoenix and a younger, less experienced, more romantic man. The reading gave me the Knight of Cups crossed by the Emperor as a start. These have both played roles in Phoenix's life; and I believe the Emperor is her father. There is a background of childish or unrealistic expectations here, meeting stern reality, shown by the six of cups founding this matter. This father also has always seen more possibilities for his daughter, and wanted better for her. This is what his perspective has always been.

The four of pentacles appears as a recently passed event. This card, reversed, represents material setbacks. It also tells us that key information was given "a day late and a dollar short". The event that this information would describe is represented by the Knight of Swords. This knight can either be a person, message, or an event, and in this position, it appears to be an event. Sadly, the Knight of Swords is all about force and destruction. But how would such elements have come into Phoenix's life? Something that was becoming important to Phoenix at the time she disappeared is the ace of wands, which is a new adventure or enterprise. She either had an opportunity, or had been offered an opportunity, that somehow threatened a young man in her surroundings. The description, so far in the reading, is of a young man who felt that her emotional and material investments should be in him, or in things that were close to that with which he is familiar.

The Page of Pentacles appears in the place of fears. This is a dark haired, dark eyed girl or boy, and often a scholarship. In this position, I think it could be both. This represents Phoenix. Next, we have the nine of swords, reversed. This is a card of imprisonment, coming up in the place of environment, and refers to the place she was hidden, and the feelings of the perpetrator. The card would point ever so slightly to the east, as it is reversed, and perhaps speak of places that are desolate, abandoned, and not often frequented. The Queen of Pentacles appears in the place of hopes, and I think this is a woman connected to Phoenix who is hoping to find her. The sad final outcome here, is Justice, reversed. Not only does this illustrate the ineffective manner in which the media has publicized this case, and the fact that Pjhoenix has not been found, it also tells us that what has happened here was not the natural way of Phoenix's path, and that she was actually meant to take advantage of the opportunities life offered her.

    1. Sadly, it does not look that way. Something else I find upsetting is that this happened the Midwest, yet I never heard about it until someone wrote to me about it here. The media has to do a better job.

  2. East... Her car was found in East saint louis. Her mother does not give up hope of finding her. And phoenix had a boyfriend at the time of her missing. Her parents knew nothing about this relationship.

  3. I questions... Who is the perpetrator? And why is she difficult to locate? Is there anyway or help in locating her?

    1. By this reading, the perpetrator would appear to be a youngish man, (in his twenties or very early thirties) who is violent, and came into Phoenix's life either suddenly, or by accident. Looking at the reading again, it seems that law enforcement might be holding back information......the four of pentacles.......and may have more in the way of leads than they have told anyone. I'll try to get an update done, reflecting these last two questions you asked.

    2. I read the second one. The man in his twenties on the second reading clears him of any wrong doing. And says he has nothing to do with her disappearance but is connected to her some kind of way. The young man is her Boyfriend. He was in his twenties at the time of her missing. He was looked at as a suspect but was cleared in the case. I'm confused about both readings because it looks like they both suggest two different scenarios regarding what happened and the perpetrator.

  4. Ok thanks but is there any reason why law enforcement is with holding information? Is perpetrator related (a relative) to some one at the police department? Or affiliated with the police department in any way? I did my research and there a lot of dirty cops in east saint louis. I watched an interview with her parents. They said they hired Private investigators. Each PI took their money and told them sorry I cannot help you. The mother asked each one why they could not help them. The only answer the parents got was sorry I can not help you. This happens each time they get a Private Investigator. I also learned that the cop that was dispatched to her vehicle reported a female victim found in the car. Which is on the second page of the police report. Now the same cop who made the report also typed up on the same report I believe on page six of the report... Abandoned vehicle. He wrote to different conclusions on one report. At the time Phoenix parents had a PI... He wanted to speak with the officer who made the report but was unable to because his REP told him not to speak. The police department seems suspicious to me.

    1. This reading hinted at corrupt law enforcement, the knight of swords, and the new reading I did also had a reference to corrupt law enforcement. http://solarspectrumtarot.blogspot.com/2017/06/more-on-phoenix-coldon.html

  5. Sorry for all the questions lol but any detailed description of the perpetrator like facial features, hair and eye color. Some other person said that the perpetrator might of had a failing business... I'm wondering if it's Phoenix boyfriend or some one the boyfriend knew. Phoenix boyfriend at the time told her parents he did not know her but he lied. He lied about a lot of things. Even his mother denied knowing her. Phoenix parents was able to contact the grandmother and she said yes I know Phoenix. I just understand why her own boyfriend lied and did not help in aid finding her. He wanted nothing to do with the case.

    1. It honestly looked as if Phoenix knew someone who had either been involved in a crime involving money. From there, it looks as if a cop was either looking for this person and thought Phoenix could locate him, or perhaps could testify, and was disappointed when she couldn't help. What you said about the car is disturbing......how could a vehicle have been "abandoned" if someone was found inside of it? It looks as if the cop was white and middle aged.

    2. What does this have to do with debt , crime or fraud? She either had an opportunity, or had been offered an opportunity, that somehow threatened a young man in her surroundings. The description, so far in the reading, is of a young man who felt that her emotional and material investments should be in him, or in things that were close to that with which he is familiar.

    3. The picture that came from both readings is that a crime involving money or finances was committed by someone in Phoenix's general surroundings and she was cited as a witness. I really think that the threat she posed was as a witness to something. Romance may have been a motive for the other person, but she may have dated him briefly and realized, after getting to know him, that things were not right. I did not see any affection from her in either reading toward anyone in the situation that caused her to go missing. I think the initial problem had to do with money or fraud because of the positions cards from the suit of pentacles took in both readings. The second reading gave me a better picture of what was important to her, and where the different individuals came into the picture.

  6. That's the same question Phoenix Parents wanted to know. They still to this day do not understand the police report. Why the cop said she was in the vehicle and than turned around and said she was not... That's is what is disturbing to her parents. The conclusion that was made about finding her in her vehicle, was noted way before her parents reported her missing. So her parents had not reported her missing yet and the police officer had already made this conclusion. A female victim found in vehicle. I'm guessing once the parents reported her missing the report changes to abandoned vehicle. Crazy right?

    1. Very crazy. Either the vehicle was abandoned, or someone was found in it. They can't have it both ways.
