Skylar Neese

Skylar Neese was reported missing by her parents in West Virginia on July 7 of this year. It has been over nine weeks since she disappeared. The question put to the cards is what happened to Skylar, and where is she? This reading starts with the Moon crossed by the four of cups, which is deception entangled with malcontent. There has already been a coverup in this girl's case. In a case like this, the Moon can tell of secret enemies. Below this, we have the two of swords, reversed. Skylar was already dealing with someone she knew she should have avoided. Following this up, we get the Page of Swords, which indicates spying or planning. Someone had either stalked Skylar or planned to take her somewhere. Next, we have the Knight of Pentacles. As a person, he is a man between the ages of nineteen and fortyone or so, and as an event, it refers to something that was planned. It's position in the reading indicates that more will be revealed, but rather slowly. As a location, it takes us north, to plowed fields. The number associated with it is twelve. The Moon's direction is west........possibly a northwest direction figures into this picture. Another card that came up is the Hermit, reversed. Reversed, this card tells of an adult male who acts like a teenager and refuses to grow up. Almost a perpetual Peter Pan.

In the place of fears, we have the Fool. The Fool is a card of choices; and while Skylar had all of the information she needed to make the proper choice here, she hesitated.....as the card appeared upright as a fear. Her considerations at the time are represented by the nine of cups. This is a card physical well-being and health. Next, in hopes or fears, we have the Emperor, which is the "father card" of the Tarot. This also refers to male domination. The final card is the two of wands, reversed. Relating this card back to the two of swords, which came up in the reading reversed earlier, it appears that a disagreement ended in Skylar being dominated by an older male. The two of wands could also be a resort or a large estate.

What Was The Motive In Sierra Lamar's Disappearance?

I got a question the other day about Sierra Lamar's case, and a request for an update. Specifically, the question was abut the motive of the perpetrator here. Sierra Lamar disappeared in March of this year in California. A suspect has been arrested, but has not entered a plea.

For the reading, I got three cards for the past concerning the motive: the ten of pentacles, the ace of pentacles, and the Tower, reversed. The ten of pentacles is usually and inheritance, but sometimes a gift, prize, or a one time payment in a large amount. This type of element was part of the motive. Next, backing this up, is the ace of pentacles, which is a similar message, but more of an opportunity to make money, rather then money given as a gift or a prize. Following this, is the Tower, reversed, which in that postition, means inprisonment and sometimes the unravelling of plans to a distasterous effect.

In the present, we have the nine of cups, reversed, speaking to imperfections concerning someone's plans. The three of wands came up next, which means treachery, and help was offered that was untrustworthy. This is all followed up by the King of Wands, reversed, who is a nasty and unyielding male, who is older than Sierra and was at odds or cross purposes with her in some way. At least two people have information about what happened to Sierra, although only one knows exactly where she is.

The future brings this person worry about plans and actions that do not pay off, in the form of the seven of pentacles upside down. This is the garden that never grew, the tree that never bore fruit. Also the person who never got paid. Next is the six of swords, reversed, which is a card of travel. Upside down, it tells us that this case, along with Sierra, are not going anywhere, anytime soon. Also, I am still of the opinion that Sierra is not far from her home. The last card is the five of wands, which is a card of games and trickery. The next move, it seems, is up to the court. The court will have to move forward with this case without the cooperation of any defendant.

Could Lyric Cook and Elizabeth Collins Still Be Alive?

Someone recently asked me to do a reading about Lyric Cook and Elizabeth Collins, who have both been missing from Iowa since July of this year. I have explained in the past that life and death are sometimes different things spiritually, and since I believe in reincarnation, it's possible for me to get a "yes" answer even if the person I am asking about has died! But sometimes, there are clues in a reading that can lead me to believe that a missing person will, indeed, resume life as the same person with the same identity assumed before he or she went missing, and I will do a reading for these two girls, looking for such clues.

The first three cards, representing the past, are the ten of cups, reversed; the Devil, reversed; and the five of cups, reversed. This already does not look hopeful, because of the ten of cups falling reversed. This indicates betrayal, very likely by a family member(s). I do not like to see family members betray children. The Devil, when he falls reversed, sometimes tells us that we can become free of something that has bound us or hindered us, but he also speaks of indecision in this position. I believe that is the case here. Someone simply was not thinking clearly regarding the disappearance these two girls, or had not thought the whole plan through. The five of cups reversed does speak to the possibiltity that the girls may come back.....this is one of the clues to which I referred in the above pargraph concerning life or death. The card, when reversed, also tells of old friends coming back into the picture, so perhaps someone who has known the family and the girls for a long time has information or can help.

The cards I drew for the present are the Lovers; the Queen of Swords; and the ten of wands, reversed. The Lovers usually speaks of relationships, but sometimes of choices. At this time, the fate of these two girls is in the hands of a couple, and one other person, the Queen of Swords. She is the one influencing the couple involved. Once again, we get betrayal, in the form of the ten of wands upside down, but this time, the betrayal is a little more coutroom based, somehow; and a little less family based. Judging from this, I feel safe guessing that these girls have seen or discovered something that others did not want made public. Someone felt that the best way to protect this knowledge was to hide the girls.

The future brings us Justice, the eight of wands, and Strength, reversed. That message is quite simple. There will be justice, no one is going to get out of any legal difficulty by hiding Lyric and Elizabeth. The eight of wands promises that somehow, in an almost unexpected and surprising way, the girls will be found. Strength reversed warns of abuse of power, though. That is a bit worrisome; however, there is nothing to indicate that the girls are no longer with us, unless the theme of betrayal runs deeper than I initially thought. This reading does focus on the motive for hiding Lyric and Elizabeth. Whoever has them hidden was already hiding some secrets from law enforcement and the judicial system.

Morgan Keyanna Martin

Morgan Keyanna Martin is seventeen years old and disappeared from her St. Petersburg, Florida home on July 25. She was about four months pregnant at this time. The question I will put to the Tarot is "what happened, and where is she?"

The reading begins with the King of wands, reversed, crossed by the five of wands. Morgan was at odds with a man who, not only was a few years older than she, but who was not willing to yield to her desires. Beneath this, we have another male, the reversed King of Cups. This is a man who is dishonest and double dealing. He may have even pretended to help search for Morgan, all the while knowing exactly where she is. As a circumstance in the past that influences Morgan's disappearance, we have Judgement. This is a life-altering situation that worried someone. The High Priestess appears reversed as a distinct possibility. This means that none of the traditional resources are truly serious about unravelling the mystery of what happened to Morgan. Also, this card does not bode well for finding Morgan safe, but I will still hope for the best. Something that will become apparent in the near future is the Page of Cups, reversed, telling us that someone has already misled authorities deliberately, and time was lost, drastically reducing the chances of finding Morgan.

In the place of fears, we have the ten of pentacles. Perhaps a reward for information leading to Morgan, or for finding her? Somehow, it has made an impression on someone. The next card, in the place of environment, is the Hermit. This is a man who is working alone to find Morgan. The reading does not suggest any famillial connection to her. The Sun, or success and light, is in his hopes. And the reading ends with the ace of wands, which is a new direction for the investigation with new leads.

As physical places, the Hermit and Judgement allude to places with hills or peaks, with Judgement also looking into water from the peaks. The High Priestess refers to a similar landscape....heavy on the water symbolism. The ace of wands points south, and the Page of Cups points west, but the page is reversed. Possibly "one" or "eleven" to the south or southwest of where she disappeared.
